Awesome and thank you! The drive from Lakewood was quick and when we arrived, there weren't too many other trekkers to share the course with. That said, the course is huge and even with others filtering in throughout the day, it didn't seem crowded. The course is multi-leveled and offers varying difficulties. Green is the least difficult; blue is moderate and black is the most challenging. These are all aerial challenges and you're harnessed in at all times. Even so, though, this is def a mind game as well as the physical element of each challenge. This is a half day experience and we'd recommend bringing a cooler with lunch with you, so that you can take a break mid day, rest your bones and mind, have some grub and then go again. There aren't any food options at the course itself, but they do welcome outside food. There are several flat lander activities to occupy your time while you have lunch / break and watch others testing their physical and mental capacities above you (corn hole, for example). We had a blast and even ventured to the highest level and completed a few of the challenges there. On the fourth level, I imagine we were 50+ feet high in the sky. The winds were significant. Holy cow. It was all terrifyingly fun! We didn't take many pictures as anything you brought with you on the course was at your own risk. There are cubbies on the ground level to keep your belongings as well as water to refresh you. Staff are peppered everywhere to monitor safety but not intrusive. Definitely take a look at their website. It was so work the $49 regular price and I often see Groupons advertised. Def go!

They also have live Guinea pigs that the kids love (you can't touch or feed them though). They have time slots that you can sign up for and they clean/sanitize between sessions. My only complaint is that the time slot is only 1hr 30 min and normally I feel kids could play longer than that. Love this place! They also let the kids pick out a snack when they leave :)

I was offered pictures to be taken, we said yes, and even dresses/hats for us to dressed up, but we politely declined. The tea shop was vacant for us, so we enjoyed being there together for our little tea time. Even the lady was easy to talk to and her service was good, but we have our second thoughts about this tea shop. We didn't have scones with the cream, only sandwiches and desserts. At least the sandwiches were nice portions for the 2 of us. Other tea shops we have been to, comes in with scones and creams. Desserts were kind oh meh!. They felt like stored-bought desserts for a $35 p/person tea service. On the other hand, I enjoyed the strawberry cobbler, I never had before. You also have the option to try at least 3 different kind of teas, that is good to know for someone trying new teas experiences. But we have to wait a few times for the hot water to come in. In overall, I just wished to have scones with cream included, the desserts being made there and not stored-bought, and the hot water pitcher left in on our table instead of being served, so we can serve ourselves, instead of waiting. Ed the Spacetime Guy is cool!…read more Had our son's birthday party yesterday. My 7yo boy is on a serious astronomical kick, so a space-themed party was in order. Now the dangerous part; 15 6-8 year old kids, at the house, mostly boys. Somehow the house survived. Ed set up in the basement, and immediately had the kids attention. He spun a yarn about the solar system, and got every kid who wanted involved. He had inflatable planets, plus the sun. Each kid got to hold one as he described neat facts about the planet. Next, he conducted a little experiment where one kid held a planet, while another had a Styrofoam rocket launched. While he spun the kid, he attempt to fire at the planet... Next up were 3D photos of Mars, with 3D glasses provided. There was an experiment to create Mars soil, and a project to create a Galactic Glider. The grand finale was an air rocket launch outside. The kids and parents had a blast (pun intended) learning about rockets, shooting off stomp rockets, and making a fizz rocket with some paper, film canisters, and Alka Seltzer. Ed ended the party with a huge rocket launch outside that went 100 feet into the air. It was so cool! I like SpaceTime because they are really good at getting kids interested and having them learn something along the way. Ed and Julie are very accommodating and great to work with. Each racer got two 12 lap races, food & drink, one hour reserved seating, arcade tokens & top finishers got medals - plus all racers got to race together with a reserved time. The price was about $80 per racer. We paid separately for additional food for spectators. These go carts are electric, so no smell & pretty quiet. A few things to note, racers need to be at least 48 inches tall & if you have more than twelve racers you then split into two groups. Also, K1 has an Arrive & Drive option for just racing, it's first come first serve. The day we went was for a birthday. After checking in racers registered & signed waivers after which they got balaclavas & helmets. Instructions were given but it was rather hard to hear. Our racers had a blast...they loved it - it was a great experience. Right after racing our lunch was ready, it was served buffet style. We choose Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas, BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Wings & soft drinks. There were no salad or vegan options. The pizza was good, however the wings were even better & delicious. Since we were a big group we had a private party room. The only outside food allowed was dessert. Our party ran smoothly, the staff was friendly & very helpful. All in all a great time!

I was glad we brought our wagon to haul the pumpkins home (and our daughter around). Parking for the event is a little bit of a trek but they offered rides to those in need via golf cart. Considering this event is free, put on by the city of Lone Tree, I was super impressed! It wasn't too busy/crowded and food and pumpkin prices were reasonable while all else was free! I highly recommend Schweiger Ranch for an event and/or a visit outside of an event.

I chose to because it's fun and the path down to the ranch is muddy. He walked. I headed to the line for horse carriage rides. They had two carriages and took 10 people each time. So fun! I love horse carriages. The horses are gorgeous. It was so fun. Then we walked around the vendors. And ended up at the handmade bratwurst sandwich stand. I don't eat a lot of meat but the elk brats were delicious. So lean and tasty. And they had well done ones in addition to the regular ones. Some sauerkraut, spicy mustard and ketchup. It was cold but we sat at an outdoor table and ate our lunch. Visited the reindeer pen. Adorable. They have children's crafts and you can visit the historical buildings and see the goats. An enclosed tent where performers are and also Santa ! It's not a large event but made me happy to finally have a carriage ride for the holidays. I tipped the carriage rides company - they take cash or Venmo. And the vendors take cash or Venmo as well.
