Big fun place for kids. Couple things to know. They do sell socks with grip but you don't actually need them. In fact, there's some sections that say no socks with grip for the slides. They only have one water fountain so it's a hustle to make you buy water and they don't provide water cups in the food court area. The rooms don't have any kind of air conditioning in the party rooms, so it's like a sauna and you might want to bring a fan. Other than that it's as fun if not more than Urban Air and some of the other places. Last item I would mention is I noticed very little refereeing by the staff. It's a little bit more of a free-for-all, so some kids are trying to jump on top of other ones... Keep an eye out

This was a relatively inexpensive choice for an indoor play park. Lots of things to do for toddlers and maybe those that are a little older. Not as many things to do as urban air, but definitely better for the toddlers. We had my two year-old grandson with us so it was the perfect place. it was only 12 bucks to get in for an hour so this is still one of the least expensive indoor play park. Food and snacks were not that expensive.

Well just like a menu. The food looks fantastic on paper but when you actually get it it's not the same. That's what this establishment felt like. Looking on their site it looks bigger than actually is. I believe it's reasonable priced and it's good for Aurora as other jump places are a distance away. I had gone with three boys ranging from ages 4, 6, and 10. All had fun but the once the 10 yo did everything he was bored. That being said it's more for kids under 10. The ambiance is very family oriented as when we were leaving there was a humongous line. There could be more parking as well.

    So fun for kids

All I heard today was... "when can we go to Lava Island?!" from a 5 year old. My kids love it here even after 10 visits! We celebrated my daughters 4 year old birthday at lava island and have also been to several birthday parties for their classmates here too! The space is huge! And walking in the first time is very exciting! I love that the climbing side and the trampoline side are separated so that it keeps the excitement going so kids can switch to what they would like to do here. A perk is that adults can join in on the fun. Jumping on the trampolines and going through the obstacle courses is just as exhilarating for adults! But the downfall is that adults have to pay regardless of if you participate. So when I've brought my older kids along with my baby, I still have to pay even though I'm just taking care of the baby and watching the older two play. Compared to other kids play places, you'll end up spending more here because of the entry AND food. No outside food or drink allowed. For birthdays, you have to set up a party with them (in order to bring in cake). Overall though, the kids will love it but your wallet won't.

I wish the place existed where I live. We have trampoline parks and indoor playgrounds. They just aren't as fun as this one. I really like that you get both in one location. The space is huge. On one side you have your jungle themed indoor playground; on the other side you have your lava themed trampoline park. Our son loved both. And not just him. My wife even got in on the trampoline action. They serve food on site. It's your standard kid friendly fare. The mozzarella sticks were good. Entrance fee is $10 per person, per hour. Now, when it comes to the per hour part, their website states that is during peak times (weekends and school holidays). So expect to pay for additional hours. During off-peak times, bonus time may be available at no additional cost. We went on a weekday at it wasn't terribly crowded so we didn't have to pay extra (we stayed for over two hours). So keep that in mind. It is definitely worth the visit here if you have kids. I we lived in the area, this would be a regular spot for us.

Ask the Community - Lava Island

Are there lockers for purses? We saw the cubbies for shoes but wondered about lockers

I didn't see any lockers anywhere.

    Do they have beer?

Nope..no alcohol at all. But do have starbucks coffee

Does this place serve beer or wine?

    Nope

Is there a cafe or a food place or something there?

Yes! Bring money for food :) There are plenty of places to sit and eat too!

Are parents required to purchase tickets as well?

Only if you want to jump or climb. But not if you're going to just watch them. And you can always go in for rescue efforts. 😂

Would the playground area be fun for a 7 year old boy's birthday party? Or is it more geared to younger kids? Thanks!

My 8 year old had a blast there. Along with a group of similar aged kids. The other side is great for kids 8 or older but the playground side is perfect for a birthday party. (I just attended a friends child's birthday there)

My son used to love coming here and has attended many birthday parties at Urban Air over the years…read more We recently returned for his birthday, but unfortunately the experience was not as good as we remembered. While management states prices may have changed overall, our visit still felt very expensive for what was offered. An attraction we previously enjoyed was no longer available, which noticeably reduced the experience for the kids. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are additional charges for many things, including socks, games, and prizes, so the costs add up quickly. The venue also felt extremely noisy, overcrowded, and in need of a thorough cleaning during our visit. Most disappointing of all, my son and his friends ended up sitting around on their phones for much of the two hours because there simply was not enough to keep them entertained. That was never the case in previous years. Sadly, based on this recent experience, we do not plan to return. (Edited to address the reply from Payson C.)

The owners are real people running a locally owned business, and offering GREAT service to their customers! They don't have all of the bells and whistles of the larger and more corporate trampoline/ninja parks, but the experience was just as enjoyable for our family! I have three boys and a girl aged 16 to 6. They are in gymnastics and are self-taught in Ninja obstacles. At first, the staff hesitated to allow my kids to try the advanced ninja obstacles (because it was our first time there), but communicated that clearly and considerately, while eventually giving them a chance to "prove themselves" under proper supervision. I appreciated their genuine concern for my kids' safety, while still being willing to cater to their desire to challenge themselves. My boys also appreciated the staff catering to them so they could enjoy the experience even more! Warrior Playground appears on the Colorado "Get Out Pass" which gets you a free session at the playground during Open Gym time on certain days.

The toddler area is a decent size and my two year old has fun playing in here. Older kids will often over take this area and cause the area to become overcrowded. Parents will allow their kids to do what they want. I wish they had workers enforce the rule more. There's been a few times where older kids were okay fighting in the area and stepped, bumped, or ran into a toddler. Trampoline area is great. Both my kids love it. The ladder is always a hit and so is the foam pit. They usually have a worker there making sure everyone is behaving. Which is awesome The food they sell is pretty decent. Not amazing but not bad either.

I paid over $350 for a party reservation, and in reality I barely received an hour of actual room time. Our reservation was from 2:00-5:00 PM, but when I arrived they told me and my guests the room still needed to be prepared. We were standing around until 3:23 PM before we could even enter the room, and then they told us we had to be completely out by 4:00 PM. That is completely unacceptable when you've reserved and paid in advance. Communication with the business is also very difficult. If you try to call to ask questions about your reservation, it's impossible to speak to someone directly. Most communication is handled through text messages, which makes it frustrating to get clarification on important details. They advertise a "party assistant," but in reality that person is helping multiple parties at once, so there really isn't any meaningful assistance. I also brought balloons for my son's themed party, but because we had to wait so long for the room to be ready, I did not have time to decorate. The food service was also disappointing. Our pizzas took about 20-25 minutes to come out. When I politely asked about them, I was met with attitude and told "we're really busy, someone will take it once it's ready." If you have a reserved party, food should be prepared and prioritized so it doesn't cut into the limited party time. Also, the pizza portions are misleading. I received two medium pizzas that they label as "large." Also I previously added more pizzas to our party that were not brought out. So of course all my kiddos ate but the adults didn't. Another issue was the guest list and charges. I had already accounted for the kids on my guest list, but they re-added some of those same kids and tried to charge me additional fees. Make sure to triple-check your guest list and final bill at the end of your "hour" party. They even charged for my pregnant guests, which is ridiculous considering they obviously weren't using the play equipment. Overall, the entire experience felt like a huge rip-off. Between the high price, the delayed room access, rushed party time, lack of real assistance, slow food service, added charges, and difficulty communicating with staff, it was extremely disappointing. For a kids birthday party venue and indoor playground that charges hundreds of dollars for a birthday party package, families should expect much better organization and customer service. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the experience did not reflect the value of what I paid.

Best Birthday Party Experience Ever -- for Kids and Adults…read more We hosted Stella's 4th birthday party at Bounce Empire, and it was hands down one of the coolest places we've ever had a party. What truly sets Bounce Empire apart is that it's not just for kids -- it actually considers the adults too. So many kids' birthday venues forget about the parents, but not here. There's a full bar, massage pods, a movie theater room with recliners to watch sports, chess tables, and a beautiful outdoor patio with mountain views. It felt more like a resort than a kids' party venue. And the bounce houses? Definitely not just for kids. All the adults had an absolute blast too. They even have DJs! We were there for an 11 a.m. party so we didn't get to experience the DJ that day, but I've been here before for a late-night adult girls' party and it's just as fun for adults as it is for kids. Now I have to talk about the event planner, Ariann -- because she truly made this experience unforgettable. As a mom of two, getting somewhere early to set up balloons, cups, decorations, food, cupcakes, candles... it's usually stressful and exhausting. This time? I didn't lift a single finger. Ariann handled everything. Setup, food, cupcakes, candles, décor, and even cleanup. I was able to just be present and actually enjoy my child's birthday party -- which honestly almost made me cry. That kind of care and support is priceless. We never felt rushed, the party flowed perfectly, and it was by far the most laid-back, fun, and stress-free birthday party we've ever had -- for our kid. Is it a bit pricey? Yes. Is it 100% worth it? Absolutely. I would recommend Bounce Empire to anyone looking for a birthday party that truly caters to everyone -- kids and adults. We will definitely be back.
