Heaps of lifeguards all the time. There a few shaded grass area's as well as lots of seats around the pools so you can pretty much always get a shady or sunny spot. Every hour for about 10 minutes they call Adult swim, which is good and bad depending. When you have a 5 month old baby in the baby pool, and suddenly 20 kids get in, that have no boundaries and regard for you and the baby, then it's not the best. But the large pool is sectioned off so pick up your little baby and go get in the big pool, just not in the section where people might be swimming laps. Working out the parent life like a champion!

The pool has a zero entry point with some fun sensory play. The changing rooms are pretty basic (showers, bathrooms, changing area), but were clean. You can reserve shaded picnic areas as well as shaded lounge area otherwise there is little to no shade at this pool. This place also has a snack bar. This one is close to home so I checked it out on a Sunday afternoon and for $4, it wasn't a horrible waste of money. They have a regular pool with a slide and kiddie pool and a lot of lifeguards, like five or so for such a small space! I really hoped that they would have chairs to lay in but no dice, only a few picnic tables and some seats that area little low to the ground and go back a little. I stayed for about two hours and went on my way and by the time I slept there were about 12-13 people there. It's basically a no frills, which is what I was expecting, but think I will check out other pools in the hood the next time.

First of all, I would say get there early and be prepared to hustle up and get yourself a table and some shade because those things go quickly. Our friends arrived at 9:45 and we were able to buy tickets and jump in the line quickly. I arrived at 10:05 which it opens at 10 and was lucky to snag one of the few remaining parking spots and then waited in line about 20 minutes to exchange my vouchers for tickets so luckily our friends were there early because they went in and got a table for us. You can bring a small cooler with some lunch which I would recommend as the food they were selling, looked a little rough. The park itself is very clean and well kept the water was nice and warm, which was nice if you're familiar with the frigid waters of the Ilich Gardens waterpark this is not that the kids had fun playing in the sand and they really enjoyed the lazy river my son got to do the diving board for the first time which was pretty sweet. You have to be at least 48 inches to ride any of the slides so unfortunately none of our kids were able to do that overall it was a very positive experience and the other thing I wanted to mention is that the lifeguards are all super nice and super polite, which I don't think I have ever seen.

When I talk to other parents as I'm new to Parker, it's common sense that Dolphinz is a terrible swim school and nobody I know keeps their kids there for a long time. Plus, other parents who joined after me were paying less than me. I wouldn't mind if teaching was excellent and students got more attention for only a 30 mins class.
