I really wanted to love L.A. Staging because the house turned out great. However, let me tell you - It's NOT WORTH having your floors and walls scratched!!!! We had a few minor scuffs and dings during the install, but the move out was UNACCEPTABLE! These guys literally dragged something down our stairs and gouged almost EVERY STEP on the way down! If I'm capable of moving out of my own home without harm to the floors, people who do this for a living should have no problem either! I can't believe the unprofessionalism of this company. First contact with Kaycee went pleasant, until we actually scheduled an appointment to have her walk the property. We agreed on meeting on a Monday at 3pm. At 2:35pm she texted us letting us know they had a last minute removal thrown their way and asked if we can reschedule. We had arranged this meeting several days prior and to blow us off in that short of a time frame was ridiculous. She said she could reschedule for Wednesday between 3-5. We asked if staging was possible for Thursday and she said she would check. Tuesday came and we contacted her to ask if she had any update on Thursday for staging, no response. We contacted her again saying we didn't hear a response, no reply. Wednesday (the day of the walk through) she texted to confirm the appointment, but completely ignored both of our prior messages!!! We confirmed the appointment and asked AGAIN about the staging and she ignored us again! I can't believe how bad the communication was. We couldn't even get simple questions answered so that we could coordinate on our end. If texting works best for communication that's no problem, but you can't tell us you're too busy to reply via text. Also, she ignored/did not answer MULTIPLE calls. If you don't want our business let us know you aren't available or able to accommodate. Do not just blow off potential clients. Will never contact them again. We found a different staging company with better customer service and prices. read more

I used LA Staging because they got good reviews. I have to say I'm not impressed. It cost $5,800 dollars to stage my 1600 sqft 2 bed 2 bath condo. I should have saved the money and gone to Home Goods and Overstock to get the same stuff. They used the bare minimum of furniture. I had to hit up Home Depot for missing light bulbs. Only one rug in the whole place. Only a few pieces of art leaving vast expanses of blank walls with no artwork. The large entry way got a small console with one plant on it. I paid extra to stage a large patio. I got two small patio chairs and more than half the patio empty. They did come back to add a few pieces of artwork, a chair in the master and a few additional pieces of art after my realtor and I spoke to them. read more

I interviewed 3 different staging company's when putting my Brentwood townhouse on the market. Tiana, one of the owners, took my call directly and came out on short notice for a consultation. Ultimately, their prices were lower than top tier competitors, their reviews are fantastic, and I felt good that the owners themselves were so involved compared to some other companies. LA Staging was super flexible when I had to shift my installation day and then made the staging day itself as painless as possible. Courtney and Amber were extremely professional and helpful on installation day, a testament to the full team at LA Staging. I was blown away by how my home looked when fully staged. Part of the reason I picked LA Staging was that the pictures I had seen of their furniture seemed higher quality than some other staging companies. This turned out to be totally true, the items they brought were amazing and such high quality. I couldn't have been happier. When I had them come to take back their furniture, they were again very flexible on timing. They had the unit emptied so fast and efficiently, better than any moving company. My unit has some tight stairs and they were very careful not to bang the walls, and also cleaned up any smudges at the end. All in all, I couldn't recommend LA Staging more highly. Working with Kam and his stagers was a nightmare. We moved in order to give the stagers a clean slate to work with. When we saw the pictures of how they 'staged' our home, we had a lot of questions. Our questions were rudely dismissed by Kam. We took a trip back to our home a couple of months later and were rather shocked when seeing the quality of the furniture, rugs and accent pieces that were used. Wood tables were damaged, furniture was stained and the rugs that were used were old and falling apart. We had realtors as well as good friends comment on the lack of both taste and quality of LA Stagers design taste and very used pieces of furniture that they had the nerve to put in our home. They made an extremely rude comment basically telling us that we didn't have a right to complain and that our home wasn't even up to par with the quality of the homes that they normally stage. Our home in Westlake Village was appraised at well over a million dollars. When we contacted them well in advance to ask if they could remove their things when we returned to California, they would not accommodate us stating that they couldn't for us in. I had to return to Arizona to be there with our son who struggles with mental illness. My husband has to stay until they were able to 'fit us into their schedule.' After dealing with these rude and unprofessional people, I don't understand how any realtor would recommend LA Stagers to a client of theirs. We changed real estate companies and our new realtor rearranged, removed and replaced the items that they felt were poorly placed and of inadequate quality to stage our home. read more
