My daughter and I chose the location because it appeared spa-like and was close to where we were staying. We selected Marienne because she had availability at the advertised location. We opted for the "teaser set" that was advertised for $79. After booking online (vagaro.com/lashandbody was the only way to book online), I received a text stating that we needed to pay $20 per person to reserve the booking, and that amount would be applied to our service. Subsequently, I received several annoying reminder texts, one of which mentioned that the location had changed to inside a salon at a different address. Upon arrival, it was not a Lash Lounge as advertised but a salon that looked VERY different from the advertisement. Employees were sleeping in the waiting room. The individual who did our lashes showed up and took us to what appeared to be a storage room. During our session, a loud carpet cleaner was being operated, even banging against the door of the room. When I went to pay, I was informed that the balance was $160 ($79 x 2). I tipped $40, bringing my total to $200. A few days later, my Venmo statement showed the $40 reservation fee was also charged, making the total for services $200 ($100 each instead of $79). I reached out to Marienne twice to inquire about this charge, but received no response. I would not recommend this service due to misleading branding, location, prices, and communication. It is unclear if Lash&Body Lounge is aware that their brand is being used to promote her services. read more

I've received lash extensions for over 2 years, wanted to try a location closer to home. Upon the stylist finishing my lashes I noted my lashes were very scarce but since I chose a classic set which is more natural I didn't mind. but My lashes lasted only 4 days. my appointment was Thursday and today I have one lash on my left eye and approximately 6 lashes on my right eye, I am familiar with lash pre and after care so I'm not sure if it was choice of glue or what, because all my previous lash extensions lasted 2-3 weeks before needing a refill. And this was done by a senior stylist!! So $228 with tip for 4 days of lashes is not what I was expecting at all. Nice location and close to my home but I won't be returning unfortunately. read more

Disorganized, unprofessional and dirty. I was coming from Colorado to Florida for my wedding and scheduled an apt for semi-permanent lashes 2 months in advance. I gave them my CC number as a deposit as requested. The day of my appointment they kept texting me to venmo them $50. I was confused but since I was already driving and was 10 mins away I waited to respond so I can clarify whats going on and also to just complete the full payment when I got there. She texted me again saying my apt is delayed because of the lack of payment. I had to pull over and was pretty peeved at this point since I booked this two months in advance with only 2 days to go before my wedding. Moments later she texted me again and apologized after finding my credit card on file. She told me she could see me again but not that day since they were booked. At that point I was over it so I let it go. That night Marienne texted me back saying she could see me the next day at 830 am. Their office didnt open till 9 but I figured she wanted to correct their mistake. The following day I drove to the facility early and had trouble finding the place since there was no "Lash and Body Lounge" sign anywhere. When I did realize where it was the building was pretty run down with paints coming off. I waited and waited and she never showed up. I called and texted multiple times with no response. This facility was supposed to be open at 9am, I was there until 9:20 and nobody ever showed up. I went around the building and took a peak inside to see if she was in and saw how unkempt and dull this place looked. During COVID you would think they would keep this place clean, modern and polished but honestly it looks like someones dark basement. After waiting and getting screwed over TWICE I left. That night Marienne texted me back saying that she didnt sleep all night and missed her alarm clock. This place is so incredibly unprofessional and I would HIGHLY suggest to take your business elsewhere. read more

I first visited the lash and body lounge to receive training in eyelash extensions. I have had training before but nothing to compare to the knowledge I received this time. They covered all the topics that no other class has done before and the hands on practice was very detailed. I then decided to get my lashes done.... well ladies once you start there is no going back..... unfortunately I moved to Savannah GA which it was 4 hours away. I tried to find a lash artist but unfortunately noone was as good as the girls at the lash and body lounge. Luckily my retention with my extensions is really good and I do believe is because of the good work they do, also I really look after them..... I got my lashes done by Miriam a few weeks ago before my wedding and could not have been more pleased with how they looked in pictures. I got my brows done (combo/powder brow) and my bottom eyeliner done by Jen this weekend and it turned out amazing! I had been stalking their facebook page forever trying to get the courage to pull the trigger. (Note: I am a HUGE wimp and pass out at blood tests so the idea of needles on my face scared the ever loving *hit out of me) Jen explained everything in detail, was so patient with me and reapplied numbing gel to make sure I never felt anything. At the worst, it felt like a heavy exfoliation with a scrub soap but most the time I didn't feel anything. As soon as they heal up a bit, I'll post some pictures, but I am SO EXCITED to not have to fill in my brows and to never have to worry about my eyeliner smudging! Is this the cheapest place to get brows and eyeliner done? Nope. But are you seriously going to bargain shop when someone is applying permanent ink ON YOUR FACE? Answer: Heck no! Words don't express my joy for my new brows! I know they are just eyebrows, but when you realize that eyebrows are a statement to your face and when you have good ones you never know what it's like to not. I had a mess from over picking and tweezing over the years. Spending time making them right everyday, having them wash off each night and reapply each day. What a job. I wake up feeling and looking fantastic and confident. People tell me my brows look gorgeous. I love that! My consultation was first, we spoke about shape and size based on my face. I showed Dori how I normally drew them in but really wanted her input. She measured and drew boxes to give me an idea what the brows would look like and even with that I was so excited. I am not going to lie on a pain scale it was about a 5 for me, but after the 1st pass and numbing was applied I was fine. I felt so relaxed, and after she was finished she outlined the after care and gave me all I needed to take care of my new brows. That's 50% of the brow retention. I would have paid more for the service to have these new brows everyday! I highly recommend this studio. I also got my hair done by Jessica before my brow appointment. After reading reviews on Yelp I went to try this place out. I had recently destroyed my lashes by putting cheaper ones on from a different salon. I spoke with the owner on the phone and her recommendations, then set up an apt. I went with the volume lashes because of how damaged mine were. This was 6 months ago. Michelle has since been my lash artist! The best service I've ever had and my real lashes were growing back. Needless to say I'm sad I've moved off to ATL, but I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and anyone else back in Orlando. First of all she is one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. Second she is an excellent instructor and truly cares about each of her students. First and foremost Dori and her staff are fabulous at doing lashes. However, recently a string of "COLA" videos have popped up on social media in a cheeky way of bashing clients. I say if you are ready to do that then be ready to hear the backlash from your clients as it's unprofessional. It's not really about having a sense of humor, it's about making fun of the people who pay for your services. In all fairness, if you are going to post videos, then to be fair read about what "we" as clients do not like from our lash artists. 1) Consistently running late - if the previous appt. is late then their appt. should end at the same scheduled time not later to accommodate their lateness. Don't hold us up because of them. 2) Put your phone on silent, and move it from view. We don't want to know that you are texting or checking your phone while you are working on us. Also touching your phone and not sanitizing your hands after is not cool when you are working on our eyes, even if you are using tweezers. 3) Don't have conversations with people across the room or in other bays while working on us. We want to relax, have your focus on us and not have you hovering over us while talking to someone. It's unprofessional. Maybe close the curtain too. 4) If you want to post what not to do's maybe keep photos of actual clients off of your site. It can be hurtful especially if you didn't ask permission to do it in the first place. That's all. read more

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with this establishment. I first started going to Carolina who did an amazing job but she no longer worked there and was FORCED to go to Amy as the new hire. My first visit with Amy was so so, the next day 10 lashes fell off and the owner Dori said Amy "used the wrong glue to apply the lashes". I was a little perplexed because wouldn't you think that the new employee would have all of the proper tools and is aware of what glue to use while applying to lashes to clients. Giving them the benefit of the doubt - I went back and Amy applied the correct glue and my lashes were ok. They weren't as good as Carolina but I could live with it. Fast forward 4-5 appointments later at $65 + tip a pop. I get a random text from Amy not Dori (the owner) indicated due to far travel she would no longer be working there and to reach out to Dori to schedule another appointment. I reach out to Dori - she provides a link with all lash applicators. Scheduled an appointment with JayMarie at 1 pm. I get started at 1:15. I lay down and JayMarie immediately says that Amy was applying the wrong lengths to various eyelashes which was causing my real lashes to be damaged. I was totally unaware - I thought by me going to an "expert" that she would advice me if the lengths were safe or not. She also mentioned that the glue was clumped at the base. She took a picture to show me and I was appalled that I've spent hundreds of dollars on terrible work. I was also shocked that the Dorie - the owner would not be sure that every person who works with her clients have the most experience and expertise as the previously person did. After confronting Dori - she indicated that she had no idea and that's why Amy was fired. She said she didn't know what else i wanted from her, she asked if I was a business owner and went on about her credentials etc... I find this to be ironic that JayMarie told me that I should be upset and I should say something to Dori because I'm not the only clients she's had to go fix the work of Amy. Dori is horrible business owner and doesn't know how to treat her most loyal customers - I've been going to her business for almost two years and she could not admit that she did not make a good hire with Amy. She instead blamed it on me for not saying anything which is ridiculous considering I'm not the expert. Dori is unprofessional - while i'm at my appointment she's discussing the business owner next door (jewelry) and how he sleeps with multiple women and his wife doesn't know. Unprofessional and not a relaxing environment. She will never see any of my money again. If you want safe, consistent services - please stay away. I couldn't make this up if I tried. read more
