My one issue was that I booked dual service online. I was given a price and paid a deposit. At checkout the price was changed and no one told me about an update or why. I came one time to this place and left with my skin torn under my eyebrow. Yup. I'm forgetting her name but she did not take any time prepping my skin or asking me what I wanted. Instead she went straight to using the wax that ripped my skin off. She didn't even remedy the situation and made me pay full price. My daughter introduced me to microblading a couple of years ago. I liked the concept but I was worried about the application. I felt like a bad result would come with drastic disappointment and be difficult to repair. For months I collected referrals and spent lots of time looking at before and after photos by different technicians. Finally I felt comfortable that I found the perfect person. It took a month to get into a consultation and I had my first appointment about two weeks later. To say that I am pleased is an understatement. Natasha is incredibly skilled and very pleasant. During my initial appointment I decided to add on a service and am happy to have had the option to do this. The completed process was expensive but undeniably worth it. I highly recommend not trying to bargain here. Pick a place with an excellent reputation and suck up the price. You get what you pay for and it's your face that you are gambling with. My first time here was Nov 2016 and I was afraid of trying yet another place. The last few places in Orlando HACKED my eyebrows. They were so uneven and missing chunks in different places. I delayed giving a review because I wanted to experience the shop a few times first. Some business will treat new guest very well the first visit but then service will go downhill from there. So after my 4th visit, I can happily share my thoughts on this boutique. First, this place is clean and cute. Very girly and lots of thought was put into the decorations. They are strict on appointment times and will move onto the next guest if you're running late. I don't blame them as they honor everyone's exact appointment time and won't you waiting like some salons. I've gotten a brow mapping & wax for $15. A little more than I usually spend, but that ok since my brows look great. They offer a full line of waxing, eyelash extensions, eyebrow tinting, and sooo much more. Horrible experience at 10:30 am this morning with Heather for a lamination and a hybrid tint. After we talked and she showed me pictures of her work and me telling her I wanted it about my hair color, this trash mess is what I received. I understand the tint will fade, however they are so uneven I can not believe she is allowed to do this to people! I took multiple pictures standing in the lobby after herself then two others tried to fix it, they still couldn't lighten it or fix the lines from the hybrid tint. I was standing there trying not to cry but I couldn't control my shaking. Do not come here and let them do this you, no one should have to look like this and feel this way. read more

This is my first time doing anything to my eyebrows professionally. I'm so glad I decided to go here. I did eyebrow sculpting and tint. Kelcey was absolutely amazing. She told me step by step what she was doing. I was super nervous. Any questions I had she made sure to give detailed answers, not just what she was doing but also why she was doing it. My eyebrows came out better then I could of imagined. Becuase I always attempted to do my own brows they were clearly kinda botched, Kelcey showed me the areas of my brows not to touch so they can grow out and we can start to get a better shape. They came out so natural looking. I loved the open concept of the salon. I was so intrigued to watch other services being given. The salon itself was gorgeous. I felt beautiful just walking in there. I had a really upsetting experience here. So much so that it's taken almost a year for me to post about it. I went in for my first wax and tint with Natasha where I clearly explained how I liked my eyebrows (very full and not too dark.) She listened and executed the service well. I was pleased with the shape and color. A month to 6 weeks later, I was ready to get them re-done before a big European vacation. I made the appointment with Natasha at the same exact location. As we started the appointment she was deep in conversation with one of her colleagues and didn't seem focused on me at all. She started preparing the wax and tint. I assumed since I had been in so recently that she would have remembered what I wanted. That was my mistake. However, she never once asked me how I wanted the shape or tint to look. She applied the wax and tint without barely uttering a single word to me, still continuing her conversation with the collegue. When she held up the hand mirror at the end of the service I literally gasped and almost started crying immediately. I'm pale with light hair tones, and a soft brown root. She tinted my eyebrows black, waxed off so much hair on the underside of my brow and gave me this huge exaggerated arch. When I said "Oh my god, why did you do them so dark?" She responded "I just matched your root." I didn't ask her to do that. She never asked me what I wanted. She auto piloted though the whole appointment without a single question or regard for her customer. When I expressed concerns she was not apologetic at all. It was such an upsetting experience. I went home and scrubbed my brows until they were raw and sore. Cried multiple times and I am still trying to regrow them to this day. read more

The lady who sculpted my brows completely freehanded it. She didn't measure anything out or make precise lines. My brows came out so uneven. Waste of $40. Edit (in response to a recent comment): I arrived to my appointment on time at 2:00pm. I was not called to come inside until 2:15pm. I didn't mind waiting initially. What was really unsettling was when one lady was rushing the woman who was supposed to do my brows and saying "you have to hurry up with her brows because you have another girl coming in at 2:45pm." I didn't want her to rush on my brows just because they had overbooked for the day. Then whenever I was sitting in the chair talking about what kind of tint I wanted, I had asked about the henna tint. The henna tint sounded like what I was wanting so I was thinking of requesting it but then the lady said "we don't have time to do a henna tint." So that was very frustrating. I already wasn't able to get what I wanted because again, they overbooked. I didn't feel like I could ask her to fix my brows after she was done because the whole appointment was so rushed. I felt like I was being rushed out so they could start on the next girl. So that's why I didn't say anything at the time. And when the lady noticed a spot that she missed on my brows, instead of tinting that spot so it would all be even, she used makeup to fill in it. That was a temporary solution that could literally be wiped off with a makeup wipe. The whole purpose of me getting my brows tinted was so I wouldn't have to fill in my brows every day. So that defeated the whole purpose. read more

Bottom Line: Natasha knows her stuff. I am exceptionally picky about where I go for waxing because very few places seem to understand that we aren't supposed to have Muppet Eyebrows. Oh La La is clean, friendly, and well staffed. While the hours are limited and appointments get booked a week in advance, it is worth the wait to make an appointment. I was introduced to Natasha and her team by another Yelper, and I am thrilled by their efficient work. For those who get their brows groomed/sculpted with the "brow mapping" process, this is definitely the place in SoDo to get it done. Also with summer now here in full effect, their extensive variety of waxing services are ready to get you bathing suit happy! The two best tips I took away from Natasha: 1) if you have a specific brow style you like, bring a picture. For the same price as a chain like European wax center, I think Oh La La gives you a comfortable, personalized and even better quality experience! It's a super girly haven with mini chandeliers, black, white and pink accents and non stop rom-coms in the sitting area. More importantly it is clean and hygienic. Natasha is the owner and waxer and she does a beautiful job every time. I feel super comfortable to ask her any questions and talk to her about what I need done. They offer a few other services including makeup, nails and a 'slimming clinic' but I've never done anything else there. Fun fact- they even offer a special deal if you're interested in getting a Brazilian on the regular! The receptionist is really sweet and they use a handy texting and email apt reminder service. You do need an apt. ahead of time because they're not open every day, but they've always been super flexible when I need to reschedule. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! my lil sister has been talking about this place for months & finally made an appointment to get her eyebrows mapped & was super excited to finally come here which took a turn pretty quickly. sadly it was the OWNER who took care of my sister & i have never experienced someone be so rude & pick apart a young girl the way she did to my lil sister. she told her, her eyebrows are so crooked because her face is unsymmetrical she gave her a hard time about the eyebrow shape she wanted & said it wouldn't look good on her so she didn't want to do them. she gets an attitude & tells my lil sister to draw the brows on herself like what kinda person with a LICENSE says that?!? she then proceeds to be nasty to my sister & say she don't know if she can do them which clearly she needs more experience. after picking her apart she had my lil sister bawling her eyes out because of how nasty she was to her to the point where i stopped the service after finishing 1 brow & took my sister out of that place because i couldn't stand to see her so upset all because of a stuck up brat that doesn't even do good work. i myself have my esthetician license & have never experienced such a rude human being in this line of work it's honestly sad that there's disgusting women like that who don't care if they bring other women down definitely will never come back & definitely will be letting everyone know about this horrible service we experienced today. thankfully u bella waxing studio had our back & was able to make a last minute appointment to fix her eyebrows & had amazing service, did an amazing job & definitely knew what they were doing unlike this place. read more

You get what you pay for. I had a consult where we went over microblading, hybrid, powder brow and then proceeded to book the appointment for the permanent makeup. Ask questions!! I had never done anything like this before so it was a completely new experience for me but Natasha helped me each step of the way. TIP: this place books 30-45 days out so plan in advance!! They have 2 locations - Orlando and Sanford. She takes her time mixing the right colors, drawing the right lines. If you have a certain look you're going for you can refer to her IG account for examples or you know, google. She explains each step of the way and takes photos that you can keep later. Her shop is super cute - totally girly painted black, white and pink! With a lot of girly decor and a pretty chic sitting area while you wait. I went to get my brows laminated and tinted, left with scabs over my eyebrows for a week. I told the artist during the process they were burning but she said they didn't look red. I contacted them the next day via email and even sent photos of the scabs forming over my eyebrows. They didn't offer a refund or any compensation for the incident. I've had my brows done numerous times and I've never been burnt or brushed to the point of scabbing over after. read more

This was my first time at La La Brow and my experience there was not quite like the others described here on Yelp. This location is very cute and modern with pink, black, and stripes as decor. I was getting a Brazilian wax (I have received many waxes in the past) and they do a combination of soft (strips) and hard wax. I am not a fan of soft wax as usually it is used as a time saver and it tends to hurt a little more. After the first couple of pulls, it hurt way more than I have experienced in the past so she switched over the to hard wax since it was hurting so bad. I am not sure what kind of hard wax is used but it leaves behind pieces of wax or at least on me it did. So at the end, there were chucks of wax left behind that I needed to clean up. This morning I noticed that there is bruising on where the soft wax were used. I have used soft wax in the past and never was bruised even on my very first Brazilian a few years ago. read more

Not only is their salon ADORABLE and welcoming-- but the staff is sweet and professional. Jess did a rescue mission on my eyebrows- I was originally going to do a tint and sculpt but she was nice enough to let me know the tint would be dark the first day and I had an event tonight so I just went for the sculpt (wax). Super annoyed with this business! This was going to be my third appointment for an eyebrow wax. I was on time and did not miss my first two appointments. I am currently a resident physician and was unable to respond to confirmation texts because I was working night shifts and when I woke up earlier than normal to get to my appointment they had canceled it and filled it. I found out about this place through a friend and after reading favorable reviews, I decided to try them out. This was when they were located on Curry Ford Rd. Since then, they have moved to a prime location in a plaza off Michigan not far from Mediterranean Blue. OLL is owned by a single Mom, Natasha, and since I started going to her, she has gradually employed other women at her business and added more services to appeal to her customer base. The location is super clean and very girly with lots of pink. I HIGHLY recommend calling ahead of time to make a reservation as she is always booked. You can also text her or even email and you will get a response. You will get several reminders via text . Upon arrival, make sure to sign in on the clip board in the seating area . I only come for brow waxes and she's pretty quick at getting the job done. She "maps" my face and then waxes based on this. Make sure to specify if you want just a "clean up" or something different from . I usually go for a more natural look but she will accommodate if you want something more specific. She's very clean/hygienic and uses a new stick every time she dips into the wax pot. No double dipping! Afterwards she offers to fill in your brows but I usually decline as I don't really care for the Kardashian look.... ;) Men- don't be discouraged. She welcomes you guys as well for all your waxing needs. On several visits I have come in as guys have been leaving after having brow waxing done. And jokes aside, an older gentleman came in one time as I was paying and asked if they did back and chest waxing (yep, totally had a vision of the Kelly Clarkson scene from 40 yr old virgin). And yes, they do! Aside from waxing services, there is a "slimming clinic" here but I don't know too much about. She also offers eyelash extensions , nail care as well as facials. I have noticed that makeup services have been offered from time to time but not sure if it's a regular thing. Another good thing is that they are bilingual here as most of the employees also speak Spanish. Credit cards are accepted here so no need to have cash.
