Until recently my lashes have been just falling off after a few days! I pay so much every two weeks to have them filled and then to be told I have to pay $75 in between to have them fixed! That is NOT a company that cares about their clients and the quality of their work! It doesn't matter if the " lashes are too heavy" the lash tech should determine that and know not to put on if my natural lashes can't hold it! I don't know if the glue and lashes have changed to cheapen the cost but something has! They don't just start to fall out , out of the blue after a few days! I am shocked that money is more Important to the owner than retaining her long time loyal customer! I will find a place to spend my $ that actually cares!!! To tell a customer " you can come in and pay $75 to have them fixed is absurd! My Response: I already told you I was going elsewhere Lauren. You know how much $ I've spent in past 2 years at your business. I'm really surprised at how it was handled. If my husband does a job and the door knob falls off he doesn't " charge " an absurd fee to fix it" he wants his clients to be happy. Shay didn't recommend a lighter lash until it happened more than once. That policy is nowhere on your site , and it's not like the tech doesn't get a tip etc, I've offered to pay she said " no worries" . But to want to charge $85 in between 2 week lash appointments for lashes that just start falling out is just ridiculous! Sometimes it's the product etc. especially after 2 years and all sudden there's issues! I just felt like basically paying for a full set is ridiculous! I just asked for the bare spots to be fixed!

I contacted Kate needing a set of lashes I'd had put on in NYC removed - I'd moved, it had been too long, I needed to try a different system and find my go-to place in the Boston area. One of Kate's staff expertly and patiently removed the prior set and a day or so later after hiding in the house with no lashes, Kate applied a flawless set of individual lashes for me. I'm a firm believer in go big or go home - so I opted for the set with the most lashes and volume and length lol. But the great thing is, had I wanted something more natural Kate offers a full range of lashes - some with more of of a curl to them, others in different lengths and thicknesses so you can truly customize the look your achieve at this salon, and it's amazing. Unlike the previous lash bar I went to Kate also offers different glues - the one I opted for is waterproof, oil proof and keeps my lashes damn near perfect so long as I keep my 2 week fill appointment (everyone is different, I beat mine up so 2 weeks is my optimum fill time lol) The location is easy to find, easy to park at, and it's well appointed - it's chic, comfortable and the staff at the Lash Studio are not only friendly and accommodating but really carefully trained - lets face it, you don't want just anyone near your eyes with glue and a pair of tweezers. I understand that so many people are concerned about price-point, but if you want the best looking lashes in Boston, this in my opinion, is the only place to come to. It is immaculately clean, the staff are all knowledgeable and a stress is put on keeping the health of the lashes underneath - Kate's dedication to her business and craft really shows. I fully recommend The Lash Studio - don't cheap out and go for a groupon offer etc ... you'll thank me later.

After the one week , I have a gap on the left eye (very minor) but quite noticeable. So I called The salon in order to fill in the few missing hairs. I arrive at the Quincy lash salon and I ask Jenny if she can just fill in the few lashes that were missing. She tells me I need to do a refill for $70 dollars. She continued to say that after two weeks the fill is $80, (it's only been a week so I'm thinking it will be half of what you would pay for two weeks) (would've made more sense. I mentioned I don't need a refill yet, just a touch up of the 4-5 hairs. Literally. Lastly, she ends up actually doing a refill (which I did not need) mounds of glue and extra lashes that I did not need is what I ended up with! Lashes are so stiff at this point that I can't even blink without feeling like my own lashes are scratching my eyeballs. So uncomfortable. When all she had to do was follow the instructions of just a few lashes that I've requested. I felt that this salon was a bit money hungry. If you treat your clients correctly and listen to the style they are looking for, you would have a returning client. Now, because my real lashes have fallen off too, I'm not sure if I'll ever get lashes done again. Watch out ladies.
