She was right! also got the numbing spray which I'm sure helped. Sugaring is not as nearly as painful as regular waxing. Although i got lucky, Glam Body is usually booked weeks out so appointments are really a must! The salon is really beautiful and clean, the staff is really friendly and kind, and the ambiance is very calming. As mentioned this was my first time sugaring so my body afterwards didn't really react well (wouldn't have known without trying it) but during the process I really enjoyed how calming and safe the esthetician was with me given it was my first time. So with all that said would recommend this place. I'd also note that there's a Yelp discount, definitely check-in to take advantage of that!

I think her name was Laura? She was very nice and the vibe was chill. She walked me through the whole thing and was very patient. She wanted to go darker but I asked if it can stay more natural which felt better for me. I was about to go on vacation so I didn't want to risk it, but I probably could have gone a shade or two darker. It lasted about 3-4 days before it started to fade. I liked the experience but I'm not sure if this expense is a regular occurrence for me. I definitely want to try the lamination next, but not sure when. It's also a bit out of the way for me. She was very friendly, patient and explained everything really well. The appt took just under an hour. After it was done, I couldn't believe it was all my own hair. My eyebrows looked meh before but after one appt, I couldn't stop looking at myself. I fell in love with my own eyebrows lol Jocelyne gave me a little care pack at the end of my appt with oil and little brush to moisture and maintain the effect.
