It's been a really long time I went for eyelash extensions only because I had a pretty bad experience the first go. I decided to give it another try, but I wanted a reputable, reliable place. I came across Masterpiece on Yelp, and the reviews were all pretty positive. I've been to Masterpiece twice so far, and it's been only a wonderful experience. My lashes haven't looked this good. The main reason I also wanted to try Masterpiece is because they offer Japanese sable, which is lighter and looks a bit more natural. I've been seeing Maya for my lashes, and she's fantastic. The first time was for the Japanese sable, 80 lashes per eye. The second visit was for a refill, but I upgraded to 90 lashes for more volume. They also offer mink lashes. They show you a variety of curls and lengths before application. So far, I'm loving the results. After about 3-4 weeks, the lashes start to naturally fall out. I haven't had any allergic or adverse reactions to my lashes. I really love how light my lashes feel; it's like I don't even have extensions on. There is some maintenance and care involved, but it's pretty low key. I originally just wanted to try the lashes, but now I'm legitimately hooked. I will keep going back to Masterpiece, and I highly recommend Maya. This is a definite recommend if you're considering lash extensions. read more

I got the plump lash lift about two and a half weeks ago and I'm mostly satisfied. I mainly got it so that I could forgo mascara during a 2 week vacation while still looking relatively awake and fresh faced. I have very straight Asian lashes that kinda grow downward, so curled lashes definitely make a difference on my face. That goal was achieved. The process was relaxing, Yuri was so sweet, and my lashes came out perfectly curled and not overprocessed. Now 2.5 weeks later my outer lashes are starting to straighten. The middle lashes are still nicely curled but it's slightly disappointing to shell out $$ for the treatment only to see it start to lose effectiveness so soon. Maybe my outer lashes just grow super fast, I dunno. At any rate, if I were to get another lash lift, I'd do it here. Other lash salons may offer the same, but Masterpiece really listens to your needs and they won't fry your lashes. read more

For first time customers they give $10 off on your visit if you write a Yelp review, and another $10 off your next visit. After getting my lashes done, I quickly realized why it had so many great reviews- a lot of these 5 star reviews were for the purpose of getting they discount. I will say, the lash techs are so kind and the vibe is so calm and peaceful (hence the 4 stars). I'm only taking one star away because the lashes fell off so quickly. This is the place to go if you want people to say "wow your eyelashes are amazing!" And really mean it and think they are really yours. Also, the lashes last longer here than anywhere else I have visited The environment is gorgeous; spa-like, clean and chill. It's never noisy. There are only a few people there at a time and they have so carefully thought about timing that usually there is no overlap. While this doesn't seem all that important, it adds to the relaxation.
