First and last time for me. I decided to make an appointment for eyebrow threading after reading some good reviews on Yelp. They don't do walk in walk ins but scheduling was simple. At my appointment, front desk was courteous and the wait time wasn't long. A woman (did not introduce herself) called me back to where she would be doing my brows. At other places I've been, I'm used to things being sanitized in front of me, but that wasn't the case here. I'm not saying they didn't clean before hand, but just given the current pandemic it would be nice for sanitation to be done in front of you. The woman asked me a few questions then began our session. She threaded maybe 2 sections of the top half of both eyebrows and then completely tweezed the underneath and middle. I have never gone anywhere where they only thread the top half of your eyebrows and pluck the rest. Of course other places pluck the strays once they're done threading but don't tweeze 75% of your brows. My eyebrow hair is thick and tweezing is painful for me so this really irritated my skin. I'm highly disappointed in the final result. Don't call it threading if you're gonna spend a majority of the time plucking. 0/10 for me! read more

I had a FABULOUS experience getting my lashes done here. It was a super relaxing environment and my esthetician did an excellent job of making me feel at ease during the entire process. She made sure I was comfortable and did a great job on consulting me with which "style" lashes I should go with. I am thrilled with the results. I already had lashes but these extensions truly enhance my existing lashes while looking totally natural. I think they make me look more "awake" and even a few years younger! I have gotten my lash extensions done at the Lash Lounge four or five times now and cannot explain how wonderful this place is! My lashes not only look phenomenal, naturally long and beautiful but they don't fall out quickly like other places I have been in the past. I booked my first appointment before my wedding and realized after that, that i didn't want to stop. I used to glue on individual lashes every few days on my own and it wouldn't take me too long (10 minutes or so each time). But 45 minutes (for refills) every 3 weeks is such an amazing trade of for me. I wake up with gorgeous lashes every day and I am constantly getting compliments. Every stylist they have is wonderful, I have seen 3 different people and was over the moon about the results each time! If you're interested in lash extensions, lash tints etc., look no further. I am so excited to have joined The Lash Lounge West Lake Hills as a founding member. I went for my first visit yesterday. The place is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and so attentive to your every need. They even offer a glass of wine. They offer headphones with choice of a variety of music while having your lashes or other treatment done. I totally zoned out and loved it! I had my brows threaded and tinted. I had my lashes tinted and going back next week for a full set of extensions. I loved the way I looked this morning with no makeup. The customer service is great. Everyone is really nice, which is why I'm giving it one star. Overall, I was not happy with my outcome, reason being is because when I went in for a HYBRID fill I came out with something that didn't even look like a simple classic fill. I have had lashes for a few years now so I was surprised when all my lashes were gone before two weeks which has never happened to me before. I also don't wear any makeup (I'm allergic to most) so i knew it wasn't because i was harsh on the lashes. I decided to go somewhere else but had to get a FULL set since I had "less than 20%". Thankfully, I was reached out to and offered to try and correct what I disliked but I was so unhappy that I did not want to spend another 1-1.5 hours to correct something that shouldn't have needed to be corrected in the first place. Wish it could have turned out differently, really nice facility and I never complain but was sincerely let down by the outcome of the lashes, which lash extensions to me, mean so so much. read more

I saw a 1 star rating below and was a little disturbed. I was introduced to The Lah Lounge this year. This place is incredibly AMAZING! It is run by professional women! They make you feek so comfortable and go above and beyond to make sure you are relaxed, love their service and are feeling great about the way you look! I have had nothing, but great experiences there. I have been to 2 different stylists and both did an excellent job. I used to live in Austin, but have since moved to Cedar Park. From the moment I walked in there, I felt like family. As the owner talked to me, I felt like She truly cared and not in a smothering or fake way. I first heard about The Lash Lounge when they needed a free model. I have been a model many times at various lash places and always had a positive experience. My appointment as a model went much much faster than I've ever experienced which I thought was great. Once I got home and really got to look over my lashes I saw that a lot of them were going in various directions and it didn't look as nice as I might've been expecting. They were even a few lashes that were pointed in words towards my eye that I had to remove because it was becoming disruptive and hard to see. But still I understood that that is a possibility when you become a model. The day before my refill appointment, technically less than 24 hours before my appointment, they called to confirm my refill. I asked if I could switch to a different stylist and explain how I was unhappy with my first appointment. They told me that no one else was available and that if I wanted to receive 50% off my refill I had to keep that appointment. I told them I wasn't sure what I wanted to do and that I would call them back. I tried calling back later that day and was told by the owner that I could not cancel my appointment and less I wanted to pay full price for that service. I thought that was odd since they called to confirm my appointment less than 24 hours in advance so even if I would've canceled then when they called me I would've technically been charged? That seems weird and I wish that when I told the woman I would call back she told me that I would still be charged. So I kept the appointment and hope for the best. The day of my appointment I was called on my drive there. They called me 15 minutes before my appointment to cancel. Not only is that incredibly rude as I rearranged all of my plans and was already halfway there but I also think it's pretty crazy that I couldn't cancel but it was OK for them to cancel only 15 minutes before my appointment. I was not offered anything for this inconvenience other than being told I could rebook. The owner did tell me that she would put in my notes that I did not wish to see my initial stylist. I called a few days later after I got my schedule to rebook my appointment. The woman on the phone seemed confused when I told her that my appointment had been canceled, like she didn't believe me. She didn't seem like she wanted to still give me the 50% off because it was not a week later than my initial fill. She also didn't see anything in my notes about not wanting to see my initial stylist and try to book me with her again. Finally we got it sorted out and I went to my refill appointment a few days later. I was told I would be booked with a senior stylist to give me the best experience. I'm not sure if that's who I was booked with but I did not have a great experience and she certainly did not seem like a senior stylist. The lash lounge is the only place I've ever gone that uses an incredibly bright light over your face which cause my eyes to tear. The woman doing my refill seemed extremely annoyed that my eyes were tearing and huffed and puffed her way through the entire appointment. I understand that must be incredibly frustrating and if I could've stop my eyes from tearing, trust me I would have. At the end of the appointment she let out one giant sigh and told me I was good to go. She showed me a mirror where I picked multiple lashes off my face that she had just left there I guess. On the drive home multiple lashes were falling off my eyes as I drove. Within the next few days many many more have completely fallen off out of nowhere. I can only assume that this is due to them not being applied properly. I understand the lashes fall off but I've never had this happen before. My lashes look terrible now as I am missing large chunks all over. I gave the lash lounge two chances and I will certainly not be going back or ever referring anyone to go there. I have never written a review on yelp in my life but I felt like it was finally time to write one due to this. read more

the first time I came in what I wanted and showed a photo of was a volume lash I had done elsewhere and I was told since I hadn't booked for that they could not accommodate me. I got a very basic and natural set of lashes that were totally fine, but for $200 I would have hoped for more and also not expected to be there 2 hours because I was with a newer technician. My infill appointment I booked for volume refill. I was not happy with my refill and within 2 weeks most of the lashes were off so I cancelled my follow up refill. I now have lashes that are broken and about half my normal length. I have been doing lashes in NYC for 10 years, never had broken lashes, never laid on a table for 2 hours, and never not been accommodated to the lash look I wanted. In my opinion the lash lounge is over priced, and not accommodating to what the clients actually want. My lash infill was one of the worst sets of lashes I have ever had put on read more
