For my first ever lash service, and on my birthday, I unfortunately didn't have a good experience here. I arrived on time to the appointment and had to wait outside in the cold because I took an Uber, while the lash technician was still on the way (this was in the afternoon). I requested a very NATURAL, classic look, and opted for the lash lift initially but the technician's push for extensions sort of pressured me into switching. Half way through, I started to wonder why my eyelids were feeling SO heavy and why she kept on going. But since this was my first time I didn't know if that was normal. Wasn't a fan of the unprofessional vibes there, felt like I was in a garage, lash tech showed up in pajamas, she took breaks to text during the service, and the blasted rap music? Two and a half hours later, I opened my eyes and almost freaked out. They were NOT natural at all. Before the service, she showed me a picture of a previous client with the "classy" lashes, but mine looked nothing like that either?? I was so unhappy by the results that literally hours later, I ended up going to At Hello Lash + Brow Bar to have them removed before my birthday dinner. Yeah I know, probably unsafe for my lashes, but I just felt embarrassed. Basically blew $200+ that day for nothing. I did enjoy the vibes at At Hello Lash though. Professional and enjoyable. They also assured me that the lash tech at Eye Charm put way too many lashes for a classic set. I understand that not every service will be perfect, but this was far from the experience I hoped for, especially on my birthday. I first went to Eye Charm in November after using another eye lash studio where my eyelashes lasted barely 2 weeks. I was really p'd as I thought this was the norm, and all the postings on the web stating extensions could last 3-4 weeks were just a scam. Thank goodness I found Anastasia! She is extremely professional, knowledgeable beyond belief about the industry, and is more than willing to answer ANY questions you may have. I learned that I was cleaning my lashes incorrectly and using the wrong cleanser. She made sure I knew exactly how to take care of my lashes before I left. 3 weeks later they still looked fabulous, and my husband asked me why I was getting them redone so soon. I began seeing Anastasiia in 2020 when we were in the midst of the pandemic and we had to wear face masks while at work. I have a bad habit of picking at my lashes but my set stayed full for SIX plus weeks. Super long lasting and comfortable since they make sure to apply on single lashes instead of clumps that weigh down and tug your natural lashes. The lash service cost and time is more than you would usually see BUT it's completely justified and worth it. I have asian almond eyes and sensitive teary eyes to glue, but here they know how to do lashes that will complement and open up your eyes without barely any burning from the glue.
