I been doing my lashes here prior to covid-19 they are always courteous and professional. I recently went back and upgraded to a Russian lift (per their suggestion) the first application of natural lashes, kept falling off. According to the technician my lashes are short/weak. Came here to get my eyelashes done just because it was so close to my apartment but don't think I'll be coming back. I chose this place because they have a 20% discount advertised on yelp but when I came in they refused to honor it saying they posted it a really long time ago and it's expired. I was absolutely flabbergasted and pulled out my phone and showed her exactly where it says 20% off and she still refused!! So WARNING: don't come here expecting to receive the yelp discount. Very unprofessional - (did not get services rating is based off other issue) They refused to take a groupon and Wouldn't give a reason why , just insisted I would receive a full refund automatically if I did not redeem( which was not accurate) I had to go out of my way to contact groupon and after explaining received a refund . This is the best place to get your lashes done! I've been to other places and they do not do a great of a job as much as this place! I've been going here for a little over year to Jessica. She is great, funny, and very professional. The Lash Place offers many services and if you have a certain style you want to go for, they'll work their magic on you!! This place is very clean and classy, with a modern twist. Other places I've been to were messy and unprofessional. The environment of this studio is great! Everyone is super friendly and nice. I give this place a two thumbs up for customer service and customer satisfactory!! When I first started, I wanted something natural with a little support. I got the J-curl 11mm and 12mm. Currently, I get the C-curl with 10mm~12mm for the cat eye effect and I love it. J-curls are more natural for people with straight lashes because they have a slight curl towards the outer part of the lash. C-curls have a more dramatic curl and than the J-curl; it is a full curl fro the base to the outer part. Lash sessions can last from 30mins to 1hr and 30mins, depending on the different sets and styles. read more

First time I came in, they were super nice & 20% discount. Came In with my friend for our re-fill. We were upset; did not look like the lashes we did the first time. Payed 60$ & made us tip them. Didn't even want to tip since we were unhappy with the lashes. My friends lashes were falling off as soon as we left the shop. Also very harsh on how they do the re-fill. It hurt my eye! & they switch employees, like as if we do not know who is actually doing it. Never coming back here again. & called to speak with the owner, wasn't even there. Huge disappointment. Two terrible experiences at this place. First, I originally called Beautista in pal park (supposedly the same owner) to make an appt w Jessica after receiving some great recommendations. I was told on Thursdays she was at this location in fort lee so I was immediately transferred to Lash Place to make the appt there. I always paid $60 for new set at Beautista, where she originally started working and continues to work, so naturally I assumed it would be the same at this location (also I was not told otherwise). After I was finished I went to go pay the $60 at the counter but was given a very awkward, weird look back from the cashier then she slowly started to say it's $80. I was confused and asked why, when I just got the basic set not deluxe and that I've always paid $60 w Jessica at Beautista. She then rudely told me at this location it's $20 more. I asked: but isn't it the same owner just another location? Why would the price be $20 different for the same service? She wasn't able to answer straight forwardly and just blurted out a bunch of "umms..." said the owner was "slightly" different. I was just baffled by this point. Not sure what that means exactly and why they didn't just inform me of this price change when I called to make the appt, knowing I had been directly transferred from their other location. Had I known, I would have opted to see Jessica at Beautista the next day and paid $20 less for the same exact service. Secondly, the work done by Jessica was not up to par with what I've read and was told. It took her all of maybe, 25-30 min and she seemed to be rushing. When she realized my eyes were sensitive she seemed to be getting impatient, saying something under her breath. In the end, it looked very sparse and there were some spaces that she didn't fill that were very noticeable. My mother who has been in the beauty/hair industry for 35 yrs was NOT impressed. For these reasons, I definitely will not be returning nor recommending to anyone I know. read more

The place is spacious and clean. Everyone working there are very pleasant and professional. I have visited "lash place" every two weeks to get my eyelash extensions. I've been going to their Ft. Lee store for a few years and am never disappointed. I've got super-sensitive eyes -- so they are very careful, yet fast. I generally go every two weeks, so they last! See Jessica or Jasmine for the absolutely best lashes anywhere -- including places in NYC. Thrilled that they've now opened a second place in River Vale, so I don't need to trek to Ft. Lee. I've tried The Lash Place twice and I've been disappointed both times! The first time I went ( over a year ago) , I explained to the stylist what I wanted. I told her the length I wanted and she just seemed so confused! When we were looking at pictures of their previous work, I was clear with what I wanted and what I didn't want. After the service, looked at my eyelashes and wasn't even sure what I was looking at. They pretty much looked like my actual eyelashes. Couldn't see any difference between my actual lashes and these "extensions". 80 pieces normally would be $80, but I used the offer they had - 20% new clients - so it ended up to be a little over $60. I ended up trying this place again yesterday and I told this stylist (Lauren) how I didn't like it the last time I was here. So I told her the length I wanted and how I wanted a curl but not too much so she used both types of lashes. Service was great. She was pretty quick! Less than an hour for 80 pieces. Looked in the mirror and was pretty satisfied with what I saw. Pretty natural looking so I'd go for the 100 pieces next time but the length was nice.. paid 96 (including the tips) later that day, went out and as I was outside, I felt like the eyelashes were moving, not in a normal way. Like they were going to fly off my eyelid! I didn't touch them because I didn't want to mess them up. This morning I woke up, and half of my eyelashes are gone, mostly in the inner corners! Looks ridiculous!!! I'm sure this place can be good but I'm unfortunate to be going to the new stylists! Not sure if I can give this place a third try. read more
