Wow! I never knew this jewel existed. In Douglasville of all places. I saw a friend of mine and her lashes were beautiful. She gave me their Instagram name. Their pics and videos were much nicer than other lash places I've seen so I decided to call and I'm so happy I did. When I got there I was met with the most amazing aroma. It was like I had been transplanted to the spa. I was then given a delicious glass of sparking wine (they wouldn't tell me the brand ). I was given an iPad to fill out a consent form. This made me a little nervous, but I get it CYA. They took my picture, for before and after purposes, I guess and then gave me an aromatherapy menu. I had no idea what to choose but the menu explained the benefit of each fragrance. So I picked grapefruit b/c it said it helps burn calories, lol. Not really feeling any slimmer though . Next I was asked to sit in a reclining chaise lounge and given a warm collar that contained the scent I requested. By this time I was nearly comatose (in the best possible way). After about an hour, which seemed really quick, I was given a massage on my forehead and temples with some kind of cold rock . It was weird but kinda awesome! I was handed a mirror and given a quick tutorial on how to brush my lashes and care for them. This experience was so much more than I expected. I love this place! To be honest I'd like to keep it a secret but these ladies deserve success! I can't believe I never heard of it.. As for the lashes, the look beautiful but turned out a bit longer than I expected. They bump up against my sunglasses and actually blow in the wind, lol. A bit much for me . So, I'm Not sure if I'll be keeping up with the extensions, but whenever I want a little pick me up, this is where I'll go! read more

I found The Lashing while visiting my sister in Douglasville. I've been wearing strip lashes for years and wanted to try something different. To my surprise, My first set of extensions lasted for five weeks and they were beautiful. I really did enjoy them and how I looked. I will definitely continue to get them for special occasions or whenever I'm in town. The staff was knowledgeable and polite. They told me how to care for my lashes and even called me after my appointment to see how they were holding up. A really nice touch. I must admit I was annoyed by the $25 deposit; but I do understand the rationale behind it. All in all, I had a wonderful experience. I have visited the spa several times during my visits. This last time, I was able to get a spa manicure and pedicure which was Amazing! Be warned, they do not offer acrylics so I had to get mine soaked off. I ended up trying a gel powder, the tech said it's healthier and it had no odor. So far so good, nails are holding up as well as the lashes. It was all very relaxing, I would recommend this spa to anyone who is considering lash service or nail care. read more

I live in TN but my sister lives in Douglasville. After wearing strips since forever I'd been curious about mink lashes. I found The Lashing on Instagram was able to get booked the same day. The first time I got lashes here, they lasted over a month and they were absolutely gorgeous. I really did enjoy them. The staff was very professional and sweet. They showed me how to brush and maintain my lashes and they sent me a text a few days after my appointment to make sure I was still enjoying them. Initially I was irritated by the $25 deposit, especially since my appointment was the same day but I guess I understand why they do it. Overall, I had a relaxing, upscale, pampering experience. I now visit The Lashing every time I'm in town. The last time I came they had added nail services to the menu. I got a manicure and pedicure both were really Amazing! My very first experience with getting lashes was at this marvelous location. I got them for my wedding in 2013 and fell head over heels with my new look! Fast forward to 2017, and the owner has done some truly amazing things with the location! The decor is definitely over the top, not to mention the complimentary glass of wine they now offer clients. The atmosphere awakens all of your senses. From the beautiful mesmerizing oils in the air, to the finishing touch of jade roller on my face, this could easily be mistaken for a spa. I sometimes get so relaxed during my appointment that I wake up and forget where I am, lol The lash technicians are friendly and consistent in delivering top notch service. Who knew? I've been driving past this place for years. I actually found The Lashing on an Internet search. I had been going into Atlanta and this amazing place was so close all this time. Anyway, my first experience was amazing! The decor is top notch, very glamorous. The staff was very attentive. I had a glass of wine before my service and a cold stone massage after it! They also do nails, but no acrylics :-( The stylist are by appointment only so I had to wait about a week to be seen and they require a $25 deposit. I've already made my next 2 appointments. The lashing is the best things that happen to me. I use to wear the clusters and when I transitioned over the results were amazing. They provide excellent service as well as professionalism that can't be topped. I started with the lashing a couple of years ago and I have been a customer every since. All the girls that work there are gorgeous and my stylist was really sweet. It's really fancy and kind of expensive but well worth it. They even give you wine!
