Worst wings I have ever had. I thought they were pranking me

Drinks are nice and well priced. However, worst food I've ever had in my life. The chef looks novice and food preparation was questionable. Wings were sparse and looked like they were sourced from a very hungry farm. Fries were completely raw and served with a chunky sauce I assume was spicy ketchup? Stranger overall.

I knew I was gonna love this place the moment our server told my buddy to take his shirt off so she could better see his tattoos. In all seriousness I I've been coming here for what seems like my entire adult life and it has always been great. The vibe, the staff, the menu, the music, literally all of it has been the poster child of Kensington Market for as long as I have been schlepping my way downtown to bathe in culture and I love it continues to thrive. Unquestionably one of the best places to spend an afternoon drinking beer and relaxing in the whole city.

I'm so glad this patio was open and available for brunch this weekend. Food was good, hot and quickly served. Good place to stop for a quick bite, we sat on the patio, the only downfall was the hornets that felt they could stop by and eat for free!

This is supposed to be a crepe. Judge it by the look of the dough.

Very central location, kind of nice staff, may be a good option for a chill out beer experience although terrible food (like, terrible). I ordered hot chicken wings and I ended up getting undercooked, nothing but crispy, dipped in a ketchup-like red sauce weird things. My friend ordered a crepe and the thing they brought was anything but a crepe. The dough reminded me of a tortilla, of course not fresh, with some huge portion of sour cream on top. The patio might accommodate large groups for drinks. You have zillions of cheap and delicious food options around, so do not waste your time here. Last but not least; the service is beyond slow even though the restaurant isn't full capacity -due to some connection problems etc. they aren't able to make you pay at the table, so you have to go to the bar- Toilets; not clean.

French Onion soup and Spicy Chicken. I've had better of both dishes.

3.5 stars I say! This is exactly what I picture when I think "Kensington establishment". Cheap and pleasant, and in my mind it's a far better version of The Red Room. Service was not the quickest but it was definitely friendly, it is very run down looking but not in a bad way? (at least it did the night I went with it's very low lighting). The washroom was surprisingly cleaner than I expected, but then again I did have low expectations. I ordered myself some french onion soup and a spicy chicken dish, and that is why this review is not a 4 star one. Both were below par, the "spicy" chicken was not spicy at all (yes I realise I'm Sri Lankan and spicy does not hold the same meaning to me as it does to most people here). But I was too hungry to really care. However there's a great atmosphere, cheap drinks and friendly staff and I would not hesitate to visit again, and would like to check it out in the light of day as well.

Very rude servers. Sadly good venue but overrated. Drinks are normal priced but better value elsewhere.

Awesome service. reasonably priced food and a staple in Kensington Market. I've made so many friends going there.

The whole vibe is great for people watching in this neighborhood, you get the privilege of having a kind of fresh, open-air feeling while still being comfortably indoors. The staff were good and the cocktails were amazing. Just note that this is definitely a light eat kind of place, perfect for grabbing a drink and an appetizer. It's ideal for holding a quick meeting, catching up with a friend, or even working remotely, which is exactly what I did. The aesthetic is truly memorable. I happened to look up and noticed the cute pictures on the ceiling, the whole decor is something I won't forget and definitely makes me want to go back. A great find!

I would not recommend this restaurant. Toronto is known for…read moreits great food, but this place was a real disappointment. It was extremely busy, with lots of servers and bus staff walking around, yet no one seemed to be taking care of our table. There were too many people involved, but no one was actually providing good service. We waited about 40 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. I asked for it to be reheated. Five minutes later, the manager came over, apologized, and said the dish would be removed from our bill. After waiting another 10 minutes, the food came back at almost the same temperature. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the service and the food. Although this restaurant is popular and conveniently located near Yorkville, it didn't live up to the hype. The food felt more like fast food than a quality dining experience. There are plenty of other restaurants in the Yorkville area that offer much better food and service. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this restaurant.

This was my second visit to this bistro, and as always, the food was enjoyable overall…read more This time, I opted for the $40 daily special, which consisted of: A salad as a starter (Excellent) For my main course, I had marinated salmon tartare with rice and other garnishes, which I thoroughly enjoyed except for the avocado, which I left on the side of my plate because, in my opinion, it had an unpleasant aftertaste. The atmosphere was a bit too noisy for my taste, possibly because I hadn't made a reservation and was seated near the bar. The table the hostess assigned me hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, and I made sure to point it out. She apologized and roughly mopped up the spilled liquid. Furthermore, instead of offering me a seat at the table she had indicated, the same hostess practically forced me to sit at the table with my back to the entrance (which I hate). Once she left, I immediately changed seats. Despite these minor inconveniences from the hostess, my waitress exhibited a higher level of professionalism, though she unfortunately lacked enthusiasm. It seemed like she was in a hurry to finish her shift. I don't know if I'll ever go back to this place, as I'm eager to explore other restaurants in downtown Toronto.
