This is the largest and cleanest laundromat in the area. It's also next door to a decent cafe so you can wait in comfort for your clothes to be done. The patrons and staff are friendly, and they accept credit cards to pay for a laundry card balance. The machines are in excellent condition, and our clothes are always done within the half hour. This was our first time ever going without a washer/dryer within our complex, and the laundry hub made going to a laundromat much more tolerable than most local spots. read more

I normally don't do reviews, but I had to in this instance. Saturday, May 16th, I brought in a Burberry trench coat to have the sleeves shortened slightly to address some minor fraying from normal wear. Just have the sleeves shortened so that the fraying no longer showed or would get worse. I paid $25 for the work, pretty reasonable. The tailoring work itself was done well, the sleeve was shortened and finished cleanly, so I want to be fair about that. My issue is with how the coat was handled and returned to me. When I picked it up, the coat was tightly stuffed into a thin plastic bag which was tied up, as shown in the attached photos. I was literally shocked when the woman handed it to me. She was not the alteration lady so I didn't want to subject her to my anger, but I did say "it couldn't be put on a hanger at least"? She was apologetic and offered to get a hanger but I live only a few blocks away so I didn't see the point. Plus I wanted to take pictures. As a result, the coat was heavily wrinkled from being compressed into the bag (see photos) for two days (my given pick up date was Saturday, May 23rd and I picked it up today Tuesday evening), and honestly it was disappointing to see a garment I cherish being treated in such a careless manner by people I PAID to take care of it. I attached pictures of how the coat was presented to me and how it looked when I took it out of the bag. While I value my clothing A LOT, I am very easy going. I didn't expect luxury presentation or even steaming or pressing. I actually steam my coats every time I wear them. But I also didn't expect to have it returned to me shoved into a plastic bag like a dish rag. Every other place I have had alterations done, they won't press or steam the item unless asked to (I totally understand that) but at the least they put it on a hanger, even if it's a wire one. Especially a suit jacket or coat. This shouldn't happen to a $20 thrift store coat, let alone a coat worth over $1,000 dollars. It's a tailored garment - now the labels are out of shape and it's unwearable without considerable steaming and pressing. You want a clean and quiet place to wash your clothes YOURSELF? By all means go here. If you need to entrust your clothes to staff to have them cleaned or altered, hard pass if my experience is anything to go by. read more

This has been my go-to laundromat for 3 years. Even though there are several other laundromats much closer, I chose it based on the reviews and then kept it as "my laundromat" for all these years because there isn't anything in the neighborhood close to this level of cleanliness and service and the tailoring service is great too. IME the women that work there are sweet and attentive, even calling to let me know when a special request is ready. Idk where I'll move to next because my lease is almost up but hopefully there's a place with similar quality and also inexpensive nearby. read more

Great place, owner is awesome and staff are amazing. Clean and well managed. Gets crowded sometimes, that's the only downside.

UPDATE: The owner contacted me after I had posted this review. But instead of staying true to his own policies, he shamed me for posting a review and offered me $25 to take it down. I initially chose this place bc of their high ratings, but now I'm questioning if I was the first one to be bribed. ORIGINAL: Unreliable dry cleaning and an awful customer service. They damaged a $275 coat with multiple holes and tears, delayed a week to resolve the issue, and told me that the most they could compensate was $50. The owner's reason was that the fabric was delicate, even tho the whole purpose of dry cleaning is to clean delicate garments. The policy by the counter clearly states that they will compensate up to 10 times the fee for a damaged garment, but the owner refused to take the responsibility because this one "didn't count". At the end of our 20 min conversation, he threatened me that either I take his offer or leave empty handed. Highly encourage everyone to avoid this place. read more

BE AWARE - DO NOT DRY CLEAN HERE. I brought in a brand new shirt, I only asked them to iron it. When I took it home I realized that it was damaged with stains so I took it back and showed them the issue. The person there said they were going to try to fix it and that the owner (Edward or Anwar) would call me. The owner never called. After a day or two I went to pick it up. The owner was there but in addition to not being able to fix the shirt, they had the nerve to accuse me of going home and swapping it out for a different shirt (to scam them or something???). It was so insulting that I was taken aback. Not only did they not take responsibility, but to add insult to injury they also accused me of lying. This was a $600 Dior shirt that I had never worn before and all I wanted was to have it ironed. read more

I actually have a laundry room in my apartment building and elect to walk blocks to this laundromat. First of all, its impeccably clean. Second of all, the owners are always willing and ready to help extremely friendly people. Third, its soooooo spacious. I went to do my laundry yesterday and had a huge oil stain on my Egyptian cotton white sheets. They helped me remove the stain, for free.... I threw it in the dryer when it was 80% faded... and by the time it came out of the dryer I could not find the stain. I LOVE THIS LAUNDROMAT. Definitely a community staple. read more

Three star is for bad customer service. I love the machines, washer/dryer but I hate going there when its Janina, a reddish hair older woman is working. She operate like its her place. My first encounter of bad customer service, she's washing dropoffs. The machine I was using was next to one of the machines she was using. My machine is on rinse, about to finish, while she was adding detergent to the machine she's using, she also added soap to my machine and when I told her about it she started to argue. Only until she notice one of the machines she was using didn't have soapsuds, she became apologetic and put my machine into a wash cycle again, to remove the soap. On her days all the big dryers are in use and this is @ 9am, one hour after the business opened. So I'm spending more money to dry my heavy duty garments or comforters. And spending more time too, because I have to use the smaller dryers. I've witness other customers asking her to remove clothes from a stopped machine SHE'S using. read more

Update: so the owner of the laundry, Anwar, gave me a courtesy call due to the negative review and experience at had at his establishment. He offered a few laundry service which I agreed to as I believe in second chances. I must say I gave this place a change of heart. Even my husband was impressed and will be washing our clothes here moving forward. Place is super clean, the machines work great and they even have a kids area. Will be back! Update: the owner made good with me and he just picked up my double load of laundry a half hour ago! They have done a couple loads for me now with pick up and deliver. Clothes come back smelling very nice and clean- they do deliver and pick up and also take debit cards which is GREAT! I'll continue to use them and encourage you to do so to Hi! I am new to the neighborhood so have been trying all the laundry mats near me. I dropped my 30+ pounds of laundry off at the laundry hub and was told that they had no room to store my cart! I was surprised! I've lived in a couple different neighborhoods in New York in the last 30 years, and never knew a laundry mat that was unwilling to keep my cart while they did my laundry And offer prompt friendly reliable pick up and delivery service. Never. As I was I was paying, when I dropped off my laundry I saw a business card that said "free pick up and delivery". They told me my laundry would be ready on Saturday I called Saturday evening and asked for a delivery and was told that "the guy wasn't there". OK it's a small family owned business, just like the one I grew up in, there's no delivery Saturday evening... I can live with that. I called back this morning and again was told "the guy" was not there. To me that seemed to mean that if "the guy" was there my laundry would've been able to be delivered. I have an injury to my hand which makes lifting large heavy objects uncomfortable. The woman I spoke to was very polite and clearly well-meaning said she would call and see when "the guy" would be coming in. I asked for any form of recompense because I had been inconvenienced. The woman I was speaking with didn't feel empowered to continue the conversation so assured me that her boss would call me. He did not. So I took my cart down there and expressed feeling ripped off and was eventually able to speak to the boss on the phone. He apologized and told me that the REAL reason my laundry wasn't delivered was because it had to be picked up in order to be delivered !!! What??? Apparently, it couldn't be dropped off and then delivered. Again I asked for some kind of consideration, for my time, and aggravation due to being ill informed and was denied. There prices are on the high side of average. At some point in the conversation he told me he was sorry that I had misunderstood. I don't think he understands the definition of the word misunderstood. Receiving incomplete, inaccurate information and basing your decisions on that incomplete, inaccurate information is not misunderstanding it's being misled... at best read more

This is the girl that got all crazy with me and was mad I got crazy back so straight to the point at 8:30 I called to see if my laundry is done to pick it up right before work ... she says oh Apple at don't work I say I don't have any form of payment but credit cards she goes well you called and you didn't ask and I responded I didn't know I had to ask if your credit card machine wasn't working and that's when everything went left even offered to fight me and I said let's go ... she then proceeded to keep my laundry hostage mins you been going there for two years always tip well and I know most of the staff so this was weird I'm very understand and felt like she was having a shitty day but no I have to go to work she could of not been such a wannabe asshole "you didn't ask that the credit card machine was working " also saying "yea you were the one that called yea I know you " like girl why you mad we got into a shouting match went outside offered to fight and I have no problem I went out side she went multiple times to scream dirty bitch cause she got called out on her dumb sh*t so I called her one right back ... and whats crazy was she was disrespectful from the beginning say next for the next customer to proceed after she said I didn't call and ask if the atm was working or credit card machine .... If you're looking for a new laundromat, look no further. Laundry Hub is easily the best in Brooklyn. I'm fairly picky but I have no complaints after five months of consistently great service. I live very close by and first went in to drop off some dry cleaning and tailoring. Right away, I was very impressed by how knowledgeable and helpful the owner was. Since then, I've been pleased with their tailoring and help tackling tough stains on some of my favorite articles of clothing. Now Laundry Hub is my go-to spot for ALL of my laundry needs. The space is big, bright and clean, the staff is always friendly and communicative, the hours are great and all of their services are so well-priced! They also get extra points for offering local pick-up and delivery. It's such a relief to have a reliable spot like this in the neighborhood. I'd give more stars if I could! read more

First time here and all started off really well, with very helpful and friendly staff. Newer place and seemingly very clean - with reasonable prices, waiting area, vending machines, etc. Even ran into someone I know. My only major complaint is NOT having a sign on the door REQUIRING a mask be worn within space. If people are not wearing a mask, or unwilling to do so, they should mot be allowed in. Thankfully the two staff members were wearing masks and gloves. Two people there were not wearing masks at all and an older woman wearing down around her chin. It is impossible to keep 6 feet of distance between others in a laundromat environment! It should be required for anyone using the laundromat (during our current nationwide and citywide pandemic) to have a mask/face covering on. Management should require and uphold this for the safety and health of the community they serve. Please put a sign up and do better in this regard - for sake and health of your staff and our community. Then, I could and would have given a 5 star review. read more

I really like using their services for their door to door pick and drop off since I hate doing laundry. I had specific instructions on how to do my laundry since I have skin issues and they were more than willing to follow them. Also they always call and check to see if I'm home before dropping it off. I like that because I might have last minute changes and might not be home so they are willing to work with your schedule. I'll be using them from now on. read more
