Very disrespectful and disappointing staff members. I'm Asian that understands the Hispanic language and culture and they were talking about me in front of me and laughing instead of helping me cash out money to get quarters. Me and my friend went around the plaza to look for cash back in order to get coins. We went back to the facility just to find out that WiFi wasn't in their system and they had to reconnect it. They didn't take the time to figure out what was wrong before they sent us off looking for cash. The vibes were off and I felt judged. My friend even caught staff giving me the side eye when I've been polite. I'm so disappointed and humiliated. I felt so uncomfortable. Staff is LAZY and RUDE. This place is not worth a quarter of your money, for a small load is 3.75 and additional 1.50 for hot water!!! That 1.50 is on every machine no matter how big the machine holds, you pay that for HOT WATER! I accidentally put a quarter into an empty machine & they don't accommodate it. ONE quarter I asked the lady in the front if there's a way it can be open, she stated "only the owner can do that". It doesn't sit right with me and could imagine how much they steal to the community. Last but not least 12min dryer are $25 and half of it doesn't work. read more

We have a huge water problem at our house and we have been without water (filling buckets once in the evening for use the next day) due to a broken water pipe under the house. We don't usually pay to have our laundry done. The clothes we brought to The Laundry Room were nothing special, some bordered on rags, and had been on the floor with dog hair since we had so much of it overflowing from our situation. What we got back was so nice and clean and neatly folded it made us feel like royalty. This place was reasonable in price (we checked around) in comparison to others. The lady who explained the pricing to me on the phone (the first lady could not speak English too well and graciously suggested she could have someone call me back) made it very clear how we would be charged (no confusion). We rent and our stackable washer dryer sucks and breaks all the time. I've been coming over here and really appreciate the facilities and the time saving from being able to do all my laundry at once. They have Netflix and fast wifi and soap and softener for sale (i bring my own) and they have cute floral arrangements scattered about including succulents! The staff is nice and it's super close to my house and in the plaza of the cleanest best stocked Winn Dixie in the county. read more

I just moved to West Palm Beach, and this is the first laundromat I went to. I'm so glad it was. The owner was there when I went and was very friendly and helpful to all the customers. He offered me something to drink as a "first-time customer" and changed the channel on the TV to help entertain two little girls while their parents tended the laundry. I'm a stickler about cleanliness and looked in the machines before I started loading my clothes. They met my approval, and the woman running the front desk was cleaning the lint filters in the dryers when I left. My only complaint is that the dryer cycles are so short. I'd rather pay more for a longer cycle upfront rather than continually checking to see if my wash is dry. I'll be going back to this laundromat. read more

Usually do our laundry at home, and hang on the line, but time was short, and clouds were threatening. Found this place on Yelp, just up from our Planet Fitness, although I'd never noticed. This place is compact. But the machines are in great condition, and the place is clean. (I usually feel like I need to wash my sock again if it hits the floor in a coin-op place, but not here.) They seem to do a big drop-off business as well. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Two big thumbs up! read more

I called The Laundry Room around 9:20 am today (11/26) to ask a question. I said hello and someone said hello and the call was closed -- did they hang up on me? So I called back, the same number again maybe one minute later, and a fax machine beeped at me where a person had picked up before. I don't see how this could have happened except for via unprofessional, lazy, rude behavior. I won't be using the Laundry Room, special or not. I suspect the same level of ethics would apply if they damaged your clothes or did something else that was a problem, and I think problems are more likely with staff like that. read more

I live in Virginia and called at least five other places looking for a laundry service for my mother (who lives in Florida) before finding the Laundry Room in West Palm Beach. I spoke with the owner, George, who was incredibly professional and accommodating. He even went to pick up the laundry himself - with only one days notice! My mother said that George was sophisticated, kind, and reassuring... he lived up to the promise and delivered her clean clothing the next day in pristine condition. George operates with the utmost integrity, even providing me an update of my account after her first service. We will continue this service on a weekly basis and I'm so relieved to have found the Laundry Room and George. Truly a gem. read more
