We started strolling by all the different stands and offerings and then there it was the Trader Jim's Tiki trailer. We couldn't wait to get a taste of their pineapple whip! I had the pineapple float which was the pineapple whip in a cup with pineapple juice. Talk about delicious!!! And the price was right! Don't forget there is no need to travel to Southern California when you have a hankering for that delicious pineapple whip as you need not look any further than your own backyard and Trader Jim's Tiki Trailer. And, not a lot of people know about his truck yet so the line is super short. Tired of those burritos that have the overly boiled chicken, iceberg lettuce, rice and beans? His burritos come standard with marinated chicken, sour cream, avocado, cheese, rice, beans, caramelized onions, and his special tangy grill sauce. It's the most gourmet burrito that I have ever eaten and it came from a food truck! And his prices are so inexpensive, it's crazy. Definitely worth checking out! He doesn't have set hours but you can usually find him weekdays after 8pm until midnight. Just watch for his truck just before east side of the D. Street bridge.
