First , I am so sorry to read all of this about your experience at COA. It is SO important to share so other parents can make good decisions about where to send their children for daycare. I for one have had a good experience here considering I left a school for my own child's emotional and mental well being so I completely understand where you are coming from. That being said, I can appreciate your desire for your 3 year old to follow a curriculum to be well rounded and adjusted- fact of the matter is, I imagine it's pretty difficult to follow with 10+ , 3 year olds that are all on different levels and some do not even speak the same LANGUAGE. I've walked in on classrooms many times that teachers are using their louder voice because let's face it, kids don't always listen when you ask nicely. ‍ Teachers can't make kids eat. They can offer. Teachers don't make kids mess themselves- but they clean them up and keep it moving on to the next kid that made a mess. As far as you mentioning a specific teacher during your review - I find it defaming ; to air out a personal dislike you may have for someone on a Yelp review is immature and borderline harassment. You want people to know to "do your research" and " don't go here" and "management ignores parents complaints" - that's all very helpful. But to personally attack someone is uncalled for. Personally I think all of those teachers in that center do the same or MORE for other people's children than they may do for their own. They have spent YEARS molding young minds. You said the kids just "run around ". Maybe they were running around and discussing how the muscles in our bodies work or maybe they discussed the shapes of the clouds they saw in the sky when they were outside playing. Does it matter?! I left a daycare because my son was being BULLIED and emotionally abused by his teacher. I had to PAY FOR THERAPY to get him back on track. But ya know what? I didn't Yelp review ANY of it. I'm glad you and your family are happy at a new center.

I wish I would have known how they were getting over on me but as soon as I pulled my children from this daycare they kept charging my card without permission to even have the card on file. when I asked for a refund I was told I would get a credit not actual refund after they admittedly took it without my permission. im going to write a review on the BBb as well. Do not choose COA for your child!

I enrolled my 2.5 year old child here and we had to pull out in a month's time due to negligence in many aspects. I am ok with that too but Regina, who runs the center, absolutely gives no value to your feedback ignoring everything you say. We are vegetarians and we explictly told not to share his food. To our surprise, they still let kids share food. I understand that it can happen with kids being kids. When we spoke to Regina, she absolutely ignored us. No parent will appreciate kids sharing food in daycare during COVID. There were multiple instances where kids did not wash hands after playing outside. Last Wednesday, my son came home compaining stomach ache which was followed by fever the very same night. We called doctor and they asked us to watch out till Friday but it did not improve. We went to Doc's office Saturday and got result Tuesday and turned out COVID positive. Nobody ever called us to check why my child was not coming to Daycare. Still, we called and informed daycare that my child was tested COVID positive. Next day, we checked with our friend whose child goes to same daycare but they did not inform them either to keep watch. If you are looking for daycare around East Brunswick, I suggest look for alternatives.

But I had such peace of mind leaving my one year old with the incredible staff at Lightbridge. The front office staff, teachers, and assistants were all the most lovely people and took such wonderful care of my baby. I loved that they had a well thought out curriculum and an excellent app where I could see updates about naps, feedings, diaper changes, photos, and videos. I also loved that they had a lunch option. It made my life so much easier to not worry about packing a lunch every day! They also had cute activities on some weekends, like "mommy and me" pictures. The center is very clean, and they take health and safety seriously. I'm so sad that we had to move and couldn't continue sending our daughter and any future children to this center.

From the…read morefirst day that she started in September of 2015, I've felt as though we've made the right choice for her. This is a Christian school which I LOVE!! Because of the chapel experiences and incorporating lessons about the Bible, she has formed her own relationship with God. She loves him and prays to him and it just fills my heart up with joy! Miss Vivian, Miss Melina, all of the teachers (Miss Ellen, Miss Toni, Miss Lynn, Miss D, Miss Gail) and staff are wonderful and caring. The energy is positive and it's definitely our little girl's second home to the point where she wants to stay even after being there all day. This is my 1st child and it was really a challenge for her and myself to drop her off on the first day, but this school made that transition much easier and I appreciate all of them for being such a great part of my child's life. We will miss everyone when she transitions to Kindergarten this fall. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!

And then we came to Crossroads! Mr. Doug took my husband and I on a tour - and that's where we met Ms. Toni! She had a fun, loving, upbeat personality with a genuine love for the kids. She scooped up my son and involved him right away! He absolutely loved her class! She infused each day with a great balance of age-appropriate learning and play. Her energy made that room fun! While I worked, I was at ease knowing my son was cared for :) I felt as if every day my son came home knowing something new! The other teachers in that room - Ms. Angela and Ms. Nancy - are amazing as well! Since that time, my son has grown and transitioned to a new room - where he also seems quite happy! The staff at Crossroads are warm and friendly! The facility is clean and always decorated with children's work. My son's favorite activity is the gymnastic program that comes to the school! Highly recommend!
