Fun course with different landscapes. Links style on the front and beautiful desert, red rock, mountainous landscape on the back. With the After 2pm Summer Deal, I'd say it's the best course in St. George for the value. The driving range has all the bays loaded with balls, and light music playing from the speakers which makes hitting a more enjoyable. The starter and Marshalls were all very friendly and helpful. All the carts are set up with GPS and blue tooth. There's a snack bar/restaurant at the turn with reasonably priced food and drinks. read more

Very nice location. Friendly staff. Not sure why tee times are so tight. Feeling very rushed. Threesome in front. We are a twosome. Single behind us. The threesome finally let us jump in front of them. We got to the backside. We brought the single up with us. This course is immaculately kept and staff are very attentive. The pace is a little quick, especially since the course itself is huge and aimed at more experienced players with the ability hit far. This is a fairly challenging course and not for the faint of heart! Not recommended for beginners by any means, and I strongly recommend you polish up your game before visiting. read more

Came back on 10/31/20 :) traveled once again to St George Utah. So to break it down from my last review- The course is great. The sand may be a little too hard on the course (just a tip) and the greens are a little thicker than other courses that I've been too. The course is beautiful & they do a great job with keeping it in top condition. The last 9 holes on the course are the ones you'll never forget- the views are outstanding. The first 9.. it's just like any other course. The carts were clean & loved how they gave us bottles of water. Just wished they provided balls like Copper Rock... The bar (& Tyler) was fantastic. Drinks & service were great. I will keep coming back here as long as I keep coming back to St George ! read more

I sometimes like to pull the rating of places on yelp to their proper level and let's face it...The ledges is a 3.5 stars. Since their yelp rating is a 3 I'm gonna do what I can to bring the rating up! Now to the actual rating. The front nine is somewhat bland, boring, and not in amazing shape. If I was going to rate the course simply on the front nine I would probably give it 2-stars. The front nine is simply not worth the money. The back nine on the other hand was super fun, challenging, and in great shape. It had gorgeous views and was a blast to play. Also, I'm not a fan of their carts. Whenever you get off the cart path in certain spots the carts just stop working and you have to reverse the cart back to the cart path. Super frustrating. Overall it's a fun place to place, just play the back nice, with pretty views. Also, the staff was friendly and the clubhouse is nice. read more

Played a weekend in mesquite and St George. Very windy day which made it even tougher, will definitely be back in the future! Greens were nice and grass throughout the course was well maintained. Weeds and the tall grass make it more difficult if you stray from the fairway. Awesome course all around! read more

Spectacular views and beautifully maintained course in the higher and slightly cooler northern section of St. George. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pro shop and restaurant are upscale. Well designed course by Matt Dye with several tees for all skill levels. Fairways are wide enough to avoid a lot of lost balls. The famous Fishrock overlooks the first two holes. The back nine has incredible views of red rocks. Very expensive luxury homes are along the course. A definite must-play! read more

Nice to have food delivery when one is staying at The Ledges. Dinner was very good and there are many options for everyone in your party.

The course was is good shape overall. The greens rolled a lot slower than Sand Hollow. Unfortunately the pace of play was very slow....almost 5 hours. We got behind a group of 12 then a group of 20. We only saw the Marshall once at the 2nd hole of our round. We were spoiled by Sand Hollow and definitely recommend playing that over this course. read more

This was a great course to play with a lot of scenic views on the back nine. The course was in very good shape and bunkers were in good shape. The greens were a little on the slow side, but the staff said they were protecting the greens from burning up as they did in prior seasons. The practice area is nice and the clubhouse/restaurant are fantastic. I only fear that with all the building in the area, this course will turn into a private club at some time in the future. I would play this course again in a second. read more

The staff is always helpful and professional. The front nine and back nine are 2 different experiences. Right now with the irrigation water of it's a bit dry so it's tough to hold the greens but boy does the ball run on the fairways! Very good practice range. You can warm up, practice everything from driver to bunker play. For the 1st time we had dinner after our round and we were pleasantly surprised. With the lack of good restaurants in the SG area, this is a find. Nice variety, well prepared and reasonably priced. Wine list is weak but it is Utah. We have already discussed a return trip to have dinner as the destination...not just because we were already there to golf. read more

This was the worst experience at a golf resort I have ever had. Zero on the customer service and accommodations. Don't ask about renting golf clubs. First, it was $65 to rent and second, they didn't even have a full set of clubs. My girlfriend doesn't play golf but wanted to hit a few balls. The guy wanted to charge full price for golf and rental clubs, $140, again, never played in her life. Course was empty, and flexibility would have been nice. Not happy with this place. read more

I played this course in March 2018 and let me tell you, the condition of this course is unbelievably awful. Zero care has gone into the water features, the fairways have a lot of clumpy areas and some areas of just bare dirt covered with goose crap. For a high dollar course, I expected much more. There is no marshall on the course and we were stuck behind a terribly slow group...so 18 took about 6 hours. The food...I ordered a cheeseburger and after two bites I noticed a nice chemical aftertaste only to realize the plastic cheese cover was still on the cheese and had been melted into the burger. So...cancer here I come! Also, no drink cart making the rounds. I played this course when it was new and it was a completely different experience...too bad... read more

We had a terrible experience. I'm actually writing this while still on the course rather than playing because this has been such a stressful experience. 4 out of 6 of us were new golfers and we had 2 tee times reserved for the 6 of us. From the beginning we were being rushed by the staff. The Marshall was following us almost the entire 9 holes, telling us to play from the red (we already were) and informing us to move ahead even if we hadn't finished if the hole ahead of us was open. It didn't make any sense because we would hurry and then have to wait for the next people to finish for 5-10 minutes each time. Maybe this is a better course if you're a good golfer but I would not recommend if you're new. read more

Second year I golfed here with my buddies. Fantastic golf course. It's fun for a variety of skill levels. The greens are tough. The views are breath-taking! It is definitely a permanent stop on our yearly week-long Mesquite, NV through St. George golf trip! The service at the Fish Rock Grille is fantastic! I recommend the Philly Cheesesteak! read more

I wont be back... Golf shop was very professional and the club house was very nice. But he front nine of the course was very dry and in much need of water. I mean for 65 dollars that I paid, it was a dump. The back none was much better and the views were ridiculous. But the reason I am giving it one star is because the front was bad. We left another course in Hurricane, Ut in the middle of a round due to it being in awful shape to play this one.We called with hopes of getting out at the last minute and were told just show up and they would get us out. We showed up and Brent in the pro shop took care of us. Couldn't have asked for a better attitude, very helpful. Took great care of us, told us the front nine had a couple groups going off so go ahead to the back nine to tee off. No waiting the entire round and the course was in fantastic shape. This is exactly what your're looking for in a round off golf. Simply the best. read more

I should title this "Buyer Beware". We played this course in the past and were pleased with the experience. However our most recent visit in March 2017 was terrible. We paid $70/ea for the tee time which seemed reasonable but boy was I wrong. When we got on the course we found it in terrible shape. The fairways had been plugged, the greens sanded, and there was even an entire hole that had been bulldozed! When I made the booking there was absolutely NO mention of the fact that the course was in this kind of shape. Had I known, I would have taken my business elsewhere as this was no better than playing a $35 municipal course. I know that courses need to make money... but they don't have to cheat the players either. We won't be back. read more

This place is great. First and foremost, the people. They bring the golf carts out to your car and help you get on your way. Not in a pretentious way like some other courses but in a very customer service way. Down to earth people that seem to really enjoy working there and making sure everyone is having a good time. Front desk and snack bar are the same. They really have a good staff here and that has been apparent over the last two years golfing here. The course is in pretty good shape, no real complaints. We really appreciate the nice golf carts they have here with the satellite tracking, food ordering, good power carts that they are. Keep up the great work. We'll definitely be back for another round or two soon. read more
