If you're looking for a way to repurpose fruit seeds and skins, the koi pond is a great place to connect with nature and feed the koi. Great place to do a no shoes, no shirt nature walk and soak up some rays as well!!!!

Have been lucky to listen to the tower of bells sound out to the Sound of Music The areas are well maintained by the environmental cleaning staff and for the most times we've visited most people, students, and staff are nice. I've always visited early in the day and have found metered street parking closeby. Whether you want to place to practice a little mindfulness or just stroll along the paths, the Campanile Mall is a worthwhile place to visit.

We were booked into a 1 bedroom suite. More like a 1 bedroom apartment. Full kitchen with a breakfast bar, living room with a fireplace, dining room, and bedroom with a king bed. Large bathroom. Also has a large patio. 3 minute walk to the pool. Theres a racquet club across the street that we have full access to, which has tennis and pickleball courts, spa, fitness center, and sauna. If you ever need to stay in Ramona, stay here. Also, it's a Hilton property.

There's no better way to get to Coronado! Yes, sure - you…read morecan drive, but parking is limited. After all, it's an island. Why loop around the block to find parking when you don't need to. You can access the Coronado Ferry from either Broadway Pier or behind the Convention Center (I believe it's officially called the 5th St Pier). There is plenty to do very near the Coronado Ferry Landing, or take advantage of the small island and walk to one of the fabulous places on Orange Ave. If you're not into walking to the other side of the island, there is bus service - download the Pronto app for that (they're unrelated to the ferry service, I just want to make you aware that you *can* still get around on the island even if you don't have a car). Indoor and outdoor seating, and a 2nd floor which is all outdoor seating. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I believe that the one at the Convention Center is every 30 minutes and the Broadway Pier one is every hour (but every 30 minutes early in the morning). I get my tickets online before we go, but you can purchase them onsite, too. We take it about once every 4 or 6 weeks, it just dawned on me that I've not reviewed it yet. It's a fun way to get a look at the shoreline of the fabulous San Diego Bay!

Life jackets are under the seat. 8. Staff are efficient and personable. 9. There are eateries, shops, and other activities once you arrive at Coronado. I'm a local. I take the ferry with me and my kiddos to go bike riding and/or the beach in Coronado. The ferry does not have drinks or snacks as it is a short ride. I remember that the bathroom is sometimes open. There is two level seating. Indoor and outdoor. I like to sit in the far back on the seated padding to capture the best photos of the water. BIKING I rent the bikes at the ferry landing (Holland's Bikes). My family does a 2 hour fun day, eat pizza at the landing and return. BEACH Coronado is the beach with gold specs in the sand. Waves are not too big and the crowds are not overwhelming even in the summer. Me & kiddos each take a bag and have a beach day. Then we come take the ferry home at sunset. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the hotel justified its price of more than $250 per night (plus $30 for unsecured, unreserved parking). I stayed in a loft room and would not book that room type again. The stairs are steep, and the handrails felt loose. The bathroom, hidden behind a movable wall, along with the toilet and shower, felt more like a hostel than a boutique hotel. The room showed noticeable wear, including chipped paint and scratched walls. There were no hangers provided, and the pillows were thin and lacked support. Sleep was disappointing. The wall-mounted air conditioner was loud and had a musty odor, and the shades were not true blackout curtains, allowing streetlights into the room all night. Combined with street noise, I didn't get a restful night's sleep. If you're driving, I recommend paying for the on-site parking since street parking is limited. I also noticed unhoused individuals in the adjacent parking lot and alley during my stay. I like the hotel's modern Scandinavian-inspired concept, but it feels as though maintenance and guest comfort haven't kept pace with the design. With some updates and better attention to detail, this could be a much stronger property. In its current condition, however, I don't think it offers good value for the price.

When we checked into our first room, there were dirty towels on the floor and dirty sheets laying on the chaise chair in the corner. We let the manager know and he apologized and told us it would be a little bit. He put us in a different room. We had trouble with the security code and had to call him again, he was able to fix that as well. They should mention that rooms may have a loft bed with very steep steps and are difficult to climb. They are not accessible for anyone with knee, back or physically handicap issues. In the loft, we could not stand up or sit up because there was only about 3 feet to the ceiling, if that. There could easily be a full sized bed in the downstairs as to avoid the climb. The walls had a lot of marks and scrapes and could definitely use a paint job to make it more presentable for guests. There was also a metal object hanging by a screw out of the wall. We don't know what that was for, but again, it's unbecoming for guests. The bathroom is extremely tight and has a foldable door that gives no privacy, which is very awkward for anyone in the room. The location was a plus because it was so convenient to everywhere we wanted to visit during our stay. Michael, the manager, was also very kind and you can tell he is trying his hardest to make it work and make people happy. There's a cute little cafe on the bottom floor and outdoor lobby. Everything is contactless with check in, checkout etc. I'm not always a fan of that. I like employees around. We liked the area. Found it to be safe any time of day or night walking around.

I like that it's an active club with tennis, pickle ball, lap swimming, and a fun 9 hole.  Even with no surf, I can always find something fun to do. Plenty of activities for the kids as well. The food is on point so we never really need to go out to eat. Guest Services and the staff are always very courteous and helpful. Combine the above with the beautiful setting of La Jolla and no wonder the kids never want to leave when we visit here :)

I drove to the location they directed me to, only to be told to go back to the original valet. When I returned, they refused my car again. After being denied three times, a manager eventually had to come out and personally escort me because, at that point, I did not feel comfortable leaving my car with the same valet attendant. Once we finally got settled into our room, we spent most of the night listening to loud running and stomping from above us. The hotel was hosting an event that evening, and our room appeared to be located very close to the event activity. It was extremely difficult to sleep. The next morning was somehow even more frustrating. We asked the front desk for our car, and instead of having it brought around, they handed us our keys and told us to retrieve it ourselves from the parking lot. We spent approximately 20 minutes walking around outside in the heat trying to find our car with no luck. We eventually returned to the hotel dripping in sweat. A bell attendant then offered to find it for us, and even he spent another 15 minutes searching before locating the vehicle. For a hotel offering valet service, this level of disorganization was unacceptable. Between being sent back and forth at arrival, the excessive noise throughout the night, and then spending roughly 35 minutes trying to locate our own vehicle the next morning, the entire stay felt unnecessarily stressful. Unfortunately, this was not the level of service we expected and I would not choose to stay here again.

My husband has a lifted truck so he was uneasy about where to park. We drove to terminal 2 and eventually found a parking spot. The annoying part of trying to find parking was the green arrows. When we saw green arrows thinking there was available parking it was only for valet parking (which there were quite of bit of parking spots) but came with an extra fee and someone else driving your car. If parking was a hassle, I can only imagine inside and actually having flight booked.

The airport's new Terminal 1 is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and modern, offering many food, bar and shopping options. Not to mention comfortable waiting areas, and passenger amenities. We arrived at the airport at 6:30am. Our domestic flight was scheduled to depart at 8:55am. I had already checked-in on the Alaska Airlines app 24 hours prior. So, we dropped off our luggage at the kiosk and made our way to the TSA checkpoint. TSA was well organized and efficient- making movement through the terminal smooth and stress-free. The staff members were courteous, professional, and very helpful! Once we arrived at our gate. We ventured out to grab a quick bite and some much needed coffee for our travels. One of the airport's most distinctive features was the cleanliness of its lavatories! I've been to a few airports in my day, where the smell and aesthetic appearance is absolutely horrendous! My family and I were pleased to see the lavatories well kept, maintained, and fully stocked (makes a world of a difference).

I love old lighthouses and was excited to visit historic Old Point Loma Lighthouse. The lighthouse,…read morebuilt in 1854 and came on line in 1855, has an interesting story. The U.S. Government commissioned the building of several lighthouses on the west coast during this time. The site was selected as Point Loma was the southern most point of the U.S. west coast and the 422 ft elevation offered expansive unobstructed views of the ocean and bay from all sides. However, the lighthouse faced frequent cloud cover and fog because of the elevation. The lighthouse only operated for 36 years and was replaced by a second lighthouse. The lighthouse had other issues as well. During the 36 years of operation, staffing the house was a problem because of isolation and lack of fresh water. The abandoned lighthouse fell into disrepair until the National Park Service assumed responsibility. Today, the house is part of the Cabrillo National Monument and is open for tours. We saw incredible views of the ocean and San Diego from the lighthouse. We watched ships and sailboats travel into the bay. There is nearby parking including accessible spots. Trails lead up and down the hills to the beach, but require skill. Wear good hiking shoes. I highly recommend a visit to the lighthouse and monument. But be sure to go on a clear day!
