Very friendly staff. We had a slight issue with parking and a very friendly and professional man name Tuli was extremely helpful.

It is such a great blast from the past. The store has lots of souvenirs to purchase from aprons, books, and other knick knacks. The most favorite though are the books. Lots of the books are based off of San Diego's history and talks about what San Diego has to offer. You can collect a stack of brochures that have info on local attractions and excursions. Apparently, you can take a tour around the town but when we came in, no one was available at the time. So, we will try again next time we visit. Overall, such a a cool place and if you want to know more about SD, stop by to be educated. SD's history is pretty cool and worth the time to hear about.

The Robinson Rose Information Center has a really interesting model of Old Town. Although they don't always have an employee readily available to answer questions about the town's history, they do have some nice brochures and maps of the area. I also noticed that there were some cool new displays here earlier this month. Their small store sells some unique cookbooks, aprons, and potholders. My son likes looking at all the books about the town's history. They also had a section of books focused on missions and a good selection of vintage toys (like marbles and jacks) on our last visit here. The best part about the Robinson Rose Information Center are the tours. We met the volunteer outside (I think his name's Bert) for some great information and tour around the town. We had a great tour of the Courthouse, La Casa de Machado y Stewart Museum, Mason Street School, and La Casa de Estudillo. We're here so often that Bert remembered us during our previous visits to the McCoy House, Seeley Stables, and La Casa de Estudillo. Bert is always so knowledgeable and friendly. He's wonderfully informative about the entire town and so patient when answering questioning. Although this information center may not be the most exciting part of town, Old Town San Diego State Historical Park's tours are really fun and a great educational experience for kids and adults alike!

It's a must stop if you're in San Diego and it's worth a visit too, even if you're not planning on paying for any of the tours or the tourist spots. Lots of historical architecture, including authentic adobe buildings, statues, signs, and themed shops and such. Each time I've gone here it's been lively, especially so during the holiday season with the decor and the live music playing in the main central square. Lots of photo opportunities and shops and such to peruse and look around. Easy to grab souvenirs here as well and depending on what you're looking for, there may be more than one shop offering it (cultural souvenirs and pieces). Great to shop for outdoor garden decor (little statues and wind chimes) too. There's also toy stores, a hot sauce store, a "Chinese" themed store which is quite funny to visit, and lots of spots to grab food too, sit down and dine in or casual take out. I personally like the churro and champurrado place when it's open. There's a couple restrooms here too, but can get crowded and a bit gross with the large volume of people visiting. Free house museums for self tours where you just walk through and read the little signs that they have, and sometimes there's historical actors as well, which is always a treat.

I've seen some employees wearing costumes from this era. I wanted a picture with them but they were walking in a hurry so I wasn't able to stop any of them. I'd like to visit again and see the other buildings. Hopefully, they'll be open the next time I visit.

TRIPLE AAA (4.5 stars)…read more Towing is not cheap, call around and find out!!! I've decided to get Triple A (Plus) membership for just roadside assistance. And let me tell you, WORTH the money. But you may ask why if you have full coverage with + roadside assistance thru insurance. Did you know using roadside assistance that you pay for with your insurance can boost up premiums because every call would be considered a claim. I don't want to take the chance there since I already pay an arm and leg to Progressive. Triple A offers (3) different plans. I went for the Plus Plan for roadside assistance + Motorcycle roadside assistance. After signing up I was able to start using the service on day one BUT even if you are on a higher plan (paid for and everything), for the first week grace period your services are on the lower plan - didn't like this but I get it, had to deduct half a star rating for that. Lowest plan only tows 7 miles free. Any mile after that you work with the contracted tow how much the charge... I was quoted $12 per additional mile. Not bad $48 to take me to my destination. It was either $48, use my roadside with insurance and get a ding with a claim, OR pay $350-400 for a normal tow... to tow 11 miles. SITUATION. BMW replaced my fuel pump couple months ago so this should no longer be a problem. Either there is a fault somewhere or a false-positive sensor read sending to my computer. I got my BMW towed from my home to BMW service for further diagnostics (do not drive if a fuel pump warning appears on your computer - risky). After scheduling a service I got quoted 1hr wait. That was fine because I was home and wasn't pressed for time. HOWEVER, triple a quickly sent someone and they were at my home in a short time. Ready to go in front of my garage! The person who helped me was named Ivan and he was super chill and we chopped it up a bit driving to BMW's Service dept. Afterwards, triple a called me to ask about my experience and all that good stuff. Overall excellent service and customer service. Did you know... you can use your tows not just on your cars, as long as you are present you can use your tows. So, let me tell you this... NOBODY should be using all their plan's tows within a year (if so that means you need a new mechanic or a new car). If you ever need a tow, see if your friends or family have a plan and use one of their tows. It will save you $400! My car is safely with BMW - thanks to Triple A. On a side note, I may need to tell BMW how to do their job - if it's not the HPFP (that was recently replaced), then might be the EKPS. If both are good and warning still comes up and car shuts off, the ln it's a heat-related component failure. Test the LPFP and connection, test the psi or the voltage. While at it, test the Crankshaft Position Sensor for any faults. Do your job so Triple A doesn't have to do theirs!

I've been on hold for an hour and a half to talk to someone, meanwhile another rip off artist quoted me 325$ for a battery ( it's a Volkswagen) good thing I'm not stuck somewhere and am calling from my sick bed. I'll try again tomorrow
