We recently took a guy's 'weekend' trip to Nashville because my friend's boyfriend was in town and we tapped out of things to do in Louisville. While we were waiting for our Air B&B to open up we went into the Opry Mills Mall. I walked in the Lego store just to look around and I ran into a salesman. I go to the Lego Store for nostalgia and to look at things for my nieces, nephews, Godchildren, and other people who have fathers that might like to step on a Lego in the middle of the night. If your kid is important to me (and they're old enough) I have bought them Legos. What made this Lego Store remarkable was the enthusiasm of the staff! They were passionate about the product and willing to talk about it for a while and talked me into buying stuff FOR ME. They also showed us and let us play with the things they've made themselves on their own design. I work in sales and I would love to have employees as passionate and helpful as the young men working at this Lego Store. I want to go back! read more

Everytime I've come in here the staff and selection is phenomenal! Organized and efficient to say the least, and they keep quite a bit in stock. The pick a brick section is great for those personal builds. They've recently added a create your own mini fig station and for 9.99 it's not bad. read more

Is it even possible to have a poor experience when visiting a Lego store? Staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the products they currently had as well as upcoming releases. I have been to this location several times and each time it has been a good experience. read more

A good selection of the major LEGO sets that are out in public being sold these days, this is a bit of an expensive way to buy it. You might do a lot better at the Toys R' Us Outlet elsewhere in the mall or get them online if you can wait for your purchase to arrive. In addition to the pre-arranged sets, there is also a good collection of "loose" LEGOs that can be purchased. And in addition to the large sets, there are smaller ones also available for under $20 and $10. read more

We treated our son to the Lego store because he is such a big fan. The staff were so friendly and were really on top of finding out if we had any needs. I had a great time watching my boy run from corner to corner to look at the different displays and methodically pick out what he wanted us to buy for him. read more

I tend to only do reviews when I experience something that can only be fixed by staff training or replacement. My sister and I browsed for like 15 minutes before she picked an item and checked out. The line was long so a second register opened up as we were waiting. When it was her turn she went to the register and PERSON 1 stepped away pretending to help someone else. Then when he finally looked at us we were directed to another register. We thought they were shutting down the register since the line had shortened. No. Instead he takes the white family behind us. It was racist at worst and a micro-aggression at best. PERSON 2 who checked us out was nice and we know this isn't a reflection of Lego but a reflection of that persons poor customer service and attitude. read more

This place was awesome! We went there looking for one thing and one thing only! The lego Harry Potter castle! They had 2 left and afterwards they would be out of stock forever. I got the castle of my dreams! The employees were amazing and so helpful! The guys that helped me were very knowledgeable and so enthusiastic! 3.5 stars So officially, the store doesn't "open" until the end of April. However, I needed my Lego fix and stopped in for their "soft opening." There's a general theme at Opry Mills - great customer service. We were greeted very warmly at the door. I believe it's the ONLY Lego store in Tennessee, so if you needed that one piece - this is the place for you! Why didn't I give it a full 5 stars? Well, I wish they had a "centerpiece." In many of the Lego stores I've been to (my favorite being the one in Disneyland), there's usually some sort of HUGE Lego sculpture. I wish they had one to illuminate Nashville. Otherwise, I love getting my Lego's by the small bucket! read more

I may not have bought anything there yet but I have learned that the fun of legos in my opinion and their are many different ways to play with them and they have many cool different types of legos. And if I had to recommend a type I would recommend Lego technic cars. read more

This place is the greatest. I have a buddy who is autistic and loves Lego. Every day he builds the World Trade Center out of Lego blocks. I've taken him to the Lego store twice and both times the staff there have been super patient and kind to my buddy. They answer his questions and show him things that interest him. There is one young man who goes above and beyond to help out and communicate with my friend. I don't know his name, but he is an African American man of about 20 years of age. He has dreadlocks that he wears in a ponytail. Some people have an exceptional gift of patience and empathy, this Lego employee is one of them. read more

What's not to love about having a Lego store in town? It's decently sized with a range of sets to purchase. We usually head to the back of the store to fill up a container from the wall o' bricks. The first Tuesday of the month is a free build day for kids 6-14yrs, starting at 5pm (but line up early to get a spot). read more

Love this place. If you need a piece to finish your project, come here and they will have it, albeit as long as it is no specialized piece. Place seems crowded on weekends and not so much on the week days. Not sure if they have events or camps, but it does have lots of kits to choose from. read more

This place is awesome! Not the cheapest, but my kids like to look at the newest sets and then make some of their own mini-figures and hit up the pick-a-brick wall where they can fill a large cup with bricks they hand select themselves for a mere $15! Not bad. Sets are quite pricy, but it is definitely fun! read more

Um, if you're looking for the super cheap Lego's, you better hit EBay, cuz this is not the place to make it happen. The Lego 'outlet' is the same price that they are online, so clearly Mr Lego needs to buy a dictionary. What the do have is scads of hands on bins, a great selection and this bad ass three D rendering TV that shows you what your completed set will look like. All in all, its a fun stop, and a great way to distract overwhelmed kiddies while shopping, but you'd have to have a Bruce Wayne sized budget to want to spring for their $120 Bat cave. read more

My boys LOVE this store. Even the grown one lol. Their favorite thing seems to be making their own Lego characters in the bin. The staff are always cheerful from the time you walk in the door till you walk out. This store is one of the reasons we come to Opry Mills. read more

Its the lego store...OF COURSE it is expensive. That being said they are a great location to find things you want immediately as opposed to waiting to order. The staff has always been really helpful and i, being an adult lego hoarder, am a frequent site at their "pick a brick" wall. As one of the people who spends an hour filling a cup to the absolute maximum breaking point they have never given me grief for taking certain pieces that are destined for the mini models (which incidentally are a horrible idea lego and you are taking away 12 slots on the pick a brick wall for them..seriously...stop it). Flat out, i love it...i know its cheaper on the internet sometimes...but i love the lego store. read more
