However, I needed my Lego fix and stopped in for their "soft opening." There's a general theme at Opry Mills - great customer service.

Ever lament that you didn't have the GI Joe Helicarrier? Wanted to sit behind Skeletor's castle and talk into the voice distorting wolf microphone? Wanted to show kids the true meaning of pain with a perfectly authentic Jem mask with next to no nose space so you ended up getting a crunched nose while every breath you took blew right into your eyeballs? This is your place. They've got more Marvel themed toys than I knew existed prior to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There's just a lot of joy in there, even if there's not particularly anything I wanted from them other than a couple of Iron Man figures I might go back and get because I'm cool like that. Check 'em out, then wander next door to the Kitty Cafe and pet some cats, wander around the corner and go behind to Craft South for some knitting, cross the street and walk to El Nopalito and get some food, and polish it off at La Colmena and you've got an 80's kid's dream (well, maybe not for the knitting part)

You would…read morethink this mom and pop to store is overpriced/marks up their toys, but it's absolutely not like that at all. Everything is affordable compared to big box retail stores. I would much rather support a small business like this vs big box stores. The people in here are super friendly and engaged with everyone, even the kids! There's a sweet lady and guy that engages with my son and shows him all their display toys and how they work! We end up buying them too!! The store has very unique toys that you would not be able to find at your typical target. We have been here a few times and will make the drive to support this small business! Everything is just perfect!! Only downfall is I wish I would have known about this place sooner!

The purpose of my visit was to get some items for my infant son. Unfortunately, their selection for infant items are limited, but where they lack in infant toys they make up for every other age demographic. One of the special things I liked about the toy store was the train. It was Halloween themed, and by my understanding, they change the theme as it goes with the seasons or holidays. Either way, my son was mesmerized by watching it go around the track. I know several adults who enjoy building train sets, and this is a place where one can find all that they need for that investment. The store does have books, dolls, and a ton of other items for just about any need one could think of. I feel when our son gets older, this place will be more frequented by us. Also, for what it is worth, pricing is compatible to what you would get from big box retailors or Amazon. Buy local!!

I drove an hour to come to their Hendersonville location and when I arrived the employee told me they could have just sent the pops to the Murfreesboro location which was a little frustrating they didn't offer to do that when we were messaging the night before after I told them I was coming from Murfreesboro. I took a lot of Funko pops I no longer wanted in to trade in and they were valued at over $450 based on Hobby DB, Funko Price Guide, and average Ebay sales. I was offered $85 store credit for them. Needless to say I did not accept that value and took them to McKays where I received a far better trade in value for them. I opted instead to just buy a few of the pops they had and left. A couple days later I decided to just go ahead and get the remaining three pops I didn't get before. I again messaged the store on Facebook to see if they were still available and if they could send them down to the Murfreesboro location. They said they could do that. I asked them when I could expect the pops to arrive at the Murfreesboro location and the store has just left me on read for 3 days now. I tried calling the store twice and no one answers the phone either. So I would rate the customer service at this location as severely lacking and they have no clue how to accurately price their pops or trade in values. I can't speak to how they value their other items in the store. For example, I found an original run Captain America Funko pop from the first Avengers movie that is valued at over $250 and they had it for sale at $30. I happily snatched that up. All of the pops I bought they were priced way under the actual value of them. So not only are they essentially robbing folks that trade in pops at their store, they're severely messing up the pricing on their own pops and losing money. In any case I WOULD NOT recommend you trade in Funko pops at this location. You're much better off posting them in one of the Funko collector groups on Facebook, selling on Ebay or Hobby DB, or just taking them to McKays for trade credit/cash. I will say that the customer service at the Murfreesboro location is FAR better than the Hendersonville location.
