The Japan House was not only convenient to the wonderful sights on Main St. and the harbour but it was the cleanest we have experienced in a long time. Drunk people were messing around late into the night. It appeared to be the sort of motel that people live in rather than stay the night in. The person next to us had some mental health issues. He kept knocking on our door...trying to get my boyfriend to come to his room and hang out, to accuse me of hammering on the wall, to tell us our dome light was on, and again in the morning to accuse me of hammering on the wall while he tried to nap at 5pm. The poor guy may have been a war vet, an alcoholic, or both. I hope he finds the help he needs.
