The private room gave great photo ops.

We reserved the private room for my son's graduation luncheon after a friend recommended The Lighthouse. It cost $150 to reserve the room. It was nice and intimate with a window view of the lake. I wish the catering coordinator took the time to explain the details. I was not aware of a no-show fee and reaching her by phone was challenging. She did not follow up for a final count and I was so busy with travel (we live in Hawaii) and grad preparation that I forgot. Our no-show fee was $260. Our guests who were able to make it enjoyed the venue Our servers were gracious and helped us out when we needed the background music turned off so we could play a game, make speeches and I could dance the hula. We had a nice selection of a brunch menu but the food took a while to come out. My breakfast potatoes were soggy. All in all my son and our guests were happy with the food, for the time to celebrate and fellowship and the Lighthouse helped us to do that.

An amazing find where you wouldn't expect a 4 star restaurant. We were camping nearby with our RV Club and went looking for a place to have dinner out. When you pull up, you're impressed with the building and the view in two directions. They seated us upstairs where we had a great view of the lake. They were training a new server so we got two, both of which were very attentive. The food was excellent from the wine choices to the desserts!

Absolutely unacceptable from start to finish. Shortly after we were seated, a glass was broken at our table. Then we waited over 40 minutes for our food, only for my fried shrimp to be raw in the center. I had already eaten part of it before realizing it wasn't cooked. Serving undercooked seafood is a serious food safety issue and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, all the restaurant offered was to remove the shrimp from the bill and tell us how sorry they were that it happened. After everything that went wrong, that response felt completely inadequate. Between the broken glass, the long wait, the raw shrimp, and the lack of a meaningful effort to make things right, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We definitely won't be back

The food was phenomenal! Service was good at the table. Our server was Noah. They've recently remodeled. It feels very light upstairs, lots of windows downstairs with a bar overlooking the lake.

We went here during the game and it wasn't busy inside, everyone was outside enjoying the sun. I orders the steak cheese steak with wedge fries. The wedge fries were cooked really well, the cheese steak was ok, I would have liked to have more onion and peppers. I would come back and try their Brunch menu.

Good food and good service on our visit. We had called for a reservation but they weren't taking any more reservations when we called. So we just showed up and went to the bar. A table opened up within 30 minutes of our arrival, so it worked out great.

We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures of our food. However, this is a view from our table upstairs.

My college roommate and I ate here one night. It was not overly crowded when we walked in and so we asked for a table with a view of the lake. They took us upstairs to a room that looked like a church fellowship hall that had a view of the building next-door. We asked to switch tables so that we could see the lake. Luckily, they were able to accommodate us and we had a beautiful view for our meal. I wanted to order the pecan chicken, but it came with brussels sprouts that I don't care for. I asked if I could switch to something else and the server said no. I ended up with a cheeseburger, fries and coleslaw. The burger was excellent as were the fries. I don't think I would order the coleslaw again. Our server was very nice, almost flirtatious with my roommate which was a little awkward. All in all it was a good meal.

From the very first meeting with Andrew and Randall my wife and I knew exactly where our wedding reception was going to be, Palmetto Ridge! They were so easy to work with through every step of the process and so patient with all of our requests (and trust me they weren't all easy requests). They will exceed every expectation you have! The Venue: Absolutely beautiful! Two main rooms, we used one for the food and 'beverages' and the other as the dining room for 150+ people with a dance floor and stage for the band or DJ. More than enough parking even for our large event. The landscaping is well taken care of and makes for some beautiful picture opportunities. I almost forgot... It was scorching hot the day of our wedding but that wasn't a problem at Palmetto Ridge we walked in and it was honestly refreshingly cool and that made us and every one of our guests very happy! The Food: DELICIOUS!!! Tell them you want the Shrimp & Grits trust me you will not be disappointed!!! The Staff: Professional, courteous, and invisible and I mean that as a HUGE compliment. I don't mean invisible as in they aren't doing the job, quite the opposite actually! They do the job so well you don't even know they are there! I worry about everything and Andrew and Randall noticed that and basically told me "stop worrying, we got this" and they absolutely did! Without the two of them watching over everything I doubt my new bride and I would have had half the fun we had! Thanks Andrew and Randall we really appreciate every thing you did to make that day so special! If you are looking for a venue for your wedding or any other event you'd be crazy not to call Palmetto Ridge!

Something strange happened to our Google review so posting it here for posterity…read more Open app Your location Jacob 87 points 3 months ago Our experience with Timeless Events was deeply disappointing and unnecessarily stressful. If we hadn't stepped in and handled planning ourselves, our wedding would have suffered. Heather, the owner, was often unresponsive and difficult to reach. Despite advertising "constant communication with the bride," we struggled to get timely responses during the final month before our wedding, when support matters most. Although we hired Timeless Events to help with planning and coordination, we ended up sourcing every vendor on our own. We were also repeatedly told our deposit would be refunded due to the lack of services provided, but that refund never happened. Only after we canceled did Heather explain she had been dealing with health issues. Had this been communicated earlier, we would have been understanding. Instead, the lack of transparency left us scrambling and under unnecessary stress. This experience did not meet the expectations set by their marketing or contract. We've chosen not to pursue remediation and are focusing on moving forward. We strongly caution future couples, especially nontraditional ones, to carefully consider their options before booking Timeless Events.
