Wonderful service. My only complaint would be the length of time you sometimes have to wait for your ride. A bike rack would be great!

I'm finding that they are so helpful that when I tip, I tip good!!! I will continue to use this service and this service ONLY. Even Uber wouldn't do for me what this company has done for me. I could not be happier and more pleased to finally have a Taxi service I can trust to get me where I need to go. It's hard to get around this town when you don't have a vehicle. They actually help me more than they know. Thank you Metro Taxi for becoming my new best friend. :)

He told us, "I'll take care of you when we get there." When we arrived, he charged us $84. We questioned the amount and asked the driver to show us the distance and how the $84 fare was calculated. He refused to provide that information or show us proof of the distance. At that point, we were in front of other customers and did not want to create a scene, so we paid the charge and left. However, we are now disputing the charge with our credit card company because we do not believe the fare was properly explained or supported. This was an extremely disappointing experience. If a customer asks you beforehand what a ride will cost, the fare should be clearly explained. And when a customer questions a charge, there should be documentation showing how that charge was calculated. This is unacceptable customer service. We will be filing a formal complaint and disputing the charge. Travelers should be very careful and make sure they understand exactly how their fare will be calculated before getting into a taxi.

I finally settled on Yellow Cab (Metro Taxi). A dear friend-my grandson's other grandmother insisted on paying the $72.00 round trip fee. She even included enough for the tip. Joyfully, I scheduled the ride. I told them exactly what I needed.i was assured over and over that there was no problem. At 9:15 am, I was ready. By 9:20, I went downstairs to wait in the lobby of my building, just in case they had forgotten to call me. At 9:30 or so, I called. The annoying AI VOICE told me they did not have a driver at this time, but would let me know when one was on the way. OK. FIFTEEN minutes later, I called again and demanded that pushy voice to let me speak with a human being. This guy didn't know anything. He said the same thing the voice had said. I reminded him that my destination was not close. He asked me to please call back in ten minutes. I DID. THIS TIME I GOT THE TRUTH. THERE WAS NOT, NOR HAD THERE EVER BEEN THE TYPE OF RIDE I NEEDED -- IN THE DENVER AREA!! Then the agent spoke about vehicles with ramps where chairs could be pushed up. I asked if they had that. NO. Then why even bring it up! I have that kind of wheelchair. I only use it at home, but, I would have taken it out for this Important occasion! Well, I let the agent know my BITTER DISAPPOINTMENT. And now, you know too.

Not only have their prices continued to go up for simple…read morerides but the drivers have become ruder, less speak even enough English to be able to appropriately help if there's an emergency (yeah kind of important) and some of the cars people drive should barely be able to be on the road. At the very least a driver needs to be able to communicate basic English (the overwhelmingly spoken language in the US) so if there's an emergency they are able to notify the proper authorities and/or assist. When you aren't able to communicate with someone, especially someone you are paying for a service and that service involves something dangerous, like driving, it not only takes away from the customer experience which has only gotten worse with uber but it does not make the rider feel safe. I've also had drivers cussing on the phone with their boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife and just honestly being terrible at customer service. How are these people vetted? I've been in cars where multiple warning lights are on, there's noise coming from under the hood (not good noise) and quite frankly I have no idea how they are even on the road. One car had their child lock on the back doors, not remotely safe. Drivers who have literally been blasting their music, wildly inappropriate lyrics and loud (but I guess we don't care about common decency anymore) then when asked to turn it down I was told this is my car you can do what you want in yours. It's just gotten to a point where I'd almost rather take Lyft or a Taxi over Uber. At least with a taxi if you aren't able to communicate with them they are at least professional drivers.

At 5:59pm I was instructed by text to meet the driver at a specific pickup location. I arrived there shortly afterward, but the driver was not present. I received multiple texts stating "take me about three minutes to get there," "3 minutes," "I'm coming," etc. Yet the vehicle did not arrive until approximately 6:40pm. As an older traveler with mobility concerns, I hired a limo service specifically for peace of mind and reliability. The vehicle itself was fine, and I did ultimately get home safely. However, the delay and the inaccurate arrival estimates created unnecessary anxiety. When I contacted the company the next day to request acknowledgment and adjustment to their charge, I was told I had only waited three minutes and was informed I am no longer welcome to use the service. I'm sharing this experience for travelers who prioritize reliability and clear communication when arranging airport transportation.
