Signage is new and on the bypass road. The pool is around 800 feet or so from the club house. It has nice parking adequate for the size. The lot is well maintained. Using the facility is for members or their guest. I must say guest passes have been a pain. It's been a while since obtaining one. The pool over the years has been improved. There is a toddler splash pool that has a canopy. The main pool offers a diving board. It's not large enough for competition. Restrooms are off deck and very basic. Guards do a good job of maintaining it and are friendly. Typically two guards are on duty, one watches the main pool, then relieves the other on breaks. No outside food or drink is permitted other than bottle water. No glass. You can order from the dining room and the food is solid. Service has been slow when busy, so plan ahead. So now Duck Woods Country Club pool has got some much needed Yelp love. Check into a membership if you enjoy country club life. They also offer two upscale dining rooms, tennis and golf. The locker rooms are very nice and are in the main building.

There is a spacious parking lot adjacent to a pool, tennis courts, golf course and club house. There is a grand entrance with banquet rooms. Complements of our company. As our group would take breaks, we walked out onto the patio where there was uncovered and shaded seating over looking the beautiful golf course and pond. Most of our group stayed on site to have lunch which we had to take care of ourselves. The dining room was beautiful, but we opted to eat outside on the patio, directly in the beautiful sun. The prices were very reasonable! I got the chicken quesadilla, and it was my first time trying guacamole, and it was incredible. The quesadilla was huge, and filled with chicken, cheese and peppers, with a taco bowl on the side willed with pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream. I also tasted my colleague's fried shrimp, and it was wonderful. The only thing was that the club only accepted plastic, which made it so that some of our colleagues had to travel off site for lunch. I must mention how clean the bathroom was. The doors were incredible with horizontal slats and locks that worked. Everything was clean and pleasant, and the paper towels felt like a blend of cotton and silk. I heard many of my colleagues comment in that. The country club staff was helpful and pleasant! This review is for the golf course as we had a chance to visit while we were here! Me and my brothers were able to enjoy a VERY nice round of golf and everything from start to finish made the experience so amazing. We pulled up and immediately had someone come down to help with our golf clubs. He was very quick and attentive and took great care of our clubs. Colin, one of the golf pros who works there is AMAZING! He has such a great golf swing and taught us a few things as well. He has great energy as well and next time I come I'll definitely take lessons from him! The course was very nice and well maintained. It's well laid out and there is in a very nice gated community. The drink girl who served us was also great and helped refuel us while we played. They spaced out the players quite nicely as well so we didn't feel like we were on top of anyone or anyone right on our tail. We will certainly make sure to make The Currituck Club a regular event for us every year we come. Thank you for such an amazing experience! If you are contemplating on whether or not to play golf while on vacation, go ahead and do it and you won't regret it.
