I was riding by this store and realized I needed my usual bottle of Jameson the 1.75 L size. I stopped in and purchased a bottle. I was told it was $68.00 I have been buying this bottle size for a long time. I asked the clerk this must be a mistake, because I usually pay from $54.00 to $58.00 depending where I buy it. The clerk said "Oh yeah it went way up, and I said $10.00 higher. He said everything is going up. So, like a fool I purchased it. But I wasn't satisfied with a $10 dollar increase. I went to my regular store and found out his price was the same as it always was. So I did a little investigating and realized he snowed me. What a crook. Either the clerk pocketed the rest (no reciept), or I was speaking to the owner, either way, stay away. read more

We love it when the sales person knows exactly what they are talking, especially in a liquor store where the alcohol selection could overwhelm you. This place is one of those,the staffs were helpful and knowledgeable. Drink selection are plenty and they sold mini alcohol bottle that is perfect for keepsake or fun gifts. Liquor Locker has been around for many years and is a nice liquor store with a decent selection. I've noticed their prices are a few bucks cheaper than other liquor stores in the area. They're located conveniently along the Q27/Q31 bus route and in a mostly residential neighborhood, so street parking is fairly easy throughout the day. The staff here is helpful and pretty knowledgeable about what they sell. read more

It's a solid liquor store with a good selection of liquors. They also have in stock a small section of sake and soju. The selection of Sake and Soju are probably the most popular brands and those are priced well. As for the other prices - everything seemed standard -nothing crazy expensive, but nothing cheap. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes down to being confused as to buy this vs that. Or what kind of wine is good with this or that. Will i come here again? We were visiting from out of town and needed to pick up a few things prior to a party. Normally, I wouldn't feel compelled to write a review for a liquor store, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their selection is pretty diverse and prices seem competitive. I know there are a lot of liquor stores in the area, but compared to my local shop their prices were quite good. The store was really clean and service was actually attentive and they offered some insight into the liquor I was looking into. I have a limited knowledge of wines and it was nice to get a little education while looking for the right gift. Actually, one of the cabernets they suggested was delicious! So, if you are in the area, or live close by, check them out.. totally makes the alcohol buying experience actually kind of nice. read more

I was just in Flushing for a few weeks and needed some drinks to stock the apartment with. This is where we just happened to stop the first day, but everyone working there was so friendly and helpful and the selection and prices were great so we continued to go here the rest of the time. I wasn't sure if I would ever describe a liquor store outside of the airport clean, bright, and spacious but Liquor Locker is indeed clean, bright, and relatively spacious. I usually like to come here to buy a bottle of cold moscato or roscato from their fridge. The last time I was here, I also picked up a bottle of Frangelico. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and gave some fun tips on how to drink (or eat) with the liqueur. read more

Liquor Locker is my favorite place for wines and liquors in Queens. It gets better and better over the years. It used to be really small, but grew into an amazing store with huge selection. It looks like one of those chic stores in the city, but the prices are so much better! The owners work there and they really know their stuff. Thy have the usual products, at really good prices, but also high-end things and seasonal favorites, for the holidays. Especially good deals if you buy a case of something, which I've done a few times for a party. Last year they special ordered a wine for me that I wanted to give my uncle for his birthday, and it came the next day. I was really impressed. I'll definitely keep shopping here. read more

Horrible attitude from the store manager, when I returned a $22 bottle of corked wine. He did not want to admit it and did not reimburse me. He also refused to open a fresh bottle for comparison, unless I pay for it! Ask about their return policy, especially if you're buying expensive wine. read more
