I was out with my wife to pick up food for dinner but we were somewhat early for the pick-up appointment at the restaurant, so we decided to buy spirits from this liquor store which is beside the restaurant. The place was not small but not too large either. Store was sparkling clean. I was immediately greeted by the staff, I love it when a business staff makes a place a hospitable atmosphere, I asked him where I can find the the vodka and the Pinot noir area. Very quickly and without hesitation he pointed at two separate areas. I went to the first nearest area that he pointed and I immediately got the Vodka that I am looking for, the staff was on point, I went to the second area that he pointed, and Wella!! All the Pinot noir are there. I bought a Pinnacle vodka and a Woodbridge Pinot noir. I like this place, the staff knows his business, the store looks organized as proven by the staff who knows where the wines are. Good liquor shop, they have people familiar with the practices and principles in the purchase of goods and services. Prices are fair. I got in and out in no time. I commend the staff of this shop for being hospitable and being efficient. read more

Was going in to buy 2 bottles of wine and the guy questioned my age gave him basically all my cards and government issued ID and he straight out told me to my face that wasn't me and didn't serve me. First time here... My other fav on Utopia close to corner of Union appears to be closed... Good selection of liquor and wine... A touch pricey ... Staff not very knowledgeable ... And they have a stupid policy that you can't put over $300 on your credit card ...you need to use debit for that ... They do have a tiny sign on the register(size of business card) when they advised me of this... It should be BIG in front of store because I would never have wasted my time coming in... Some bizarre excuse that folks in the area have been using credit cards and then denying charges as fraudulent... I was about to buy $500 worth of liquor...so you just lost a guaranteed $200 ... they wouldn't even split the charges on two cards... sorry but I like to get my credit card bonuses when I am spending that kind of $... so no more business for them .... Ridiculous ... the search for another fav liquor store continues... read more

Literally zero stars if I could. I had gone to 5 different liquor stores in the same day looking for the same thing, and none of them had it. So at this point I was tired and just wanted to get what I needed and get out. So I was in a rush and this situation was completely on me, but the guy working in there literally charged me $81 for something that should've, by the price ON THE SHELF, cost around $58. I was in a rush and had other things on my mind so I unfortunately did not question it, so I take full fault, but I will never return here ever again and will never recommend it to ANYONE. Absolutely bamboozled on the price for, I assume, looking in a rush and looking young. Ridiculous and terrible business. read more

Although I must agree with the previous reviewer, there does seem to be a wide selection of wines - my experience was slightly different. This liquor store was along my drive home, and in preparation for a small dinner I'm hosting tonight, I thought they might have a nice selection. I received the usual greeting at the door and a minute into my browsing, the clerk appears behind me to ask me if I need any help. Taking his assistance for genuine, I reply that I would love a recommendation on a wine selection - to which I was greeted with a snark and annoyed attitude. He didn't seem to have any knowledge of the wine, nor did he seem interested in genuinely assisting me. I got the vibe that he seemed more interested in me not stealing anything, and he absolutely verified that when I lingered an isle behind him while browsing and caught him poking his head through the aisle to see what I was doing. Isn't it great to have your own personal chaperone through a store? And I thought my kids were bad... I can absolutely understand his judgement, though. I am, after all, very fitting of a suspicious character whatever that may be- apparently it's a hispanic young woman with brown hair and dark eyes. I also happened to suspiciously be carrying the tiniest purse ever. Get real. Not only did I buy two bottles of wine (no mention of a discount here!), but I also paid with my AmEx just to prove a point. Oh yea, and I hopped into my brand new car and drove off. I work nearby and decided to check out the kosher selection. It is amazing. While there was one employee who didn't seem as knowledgeable, once I spoke to the owner he was full of help and suggestions with such a pleasant attitude. I actually had to leave and return because I forgot my wallet. I figured he might not believe me and would put everything away. But he didn't! I came back an hour later and he was holding everything by the register. The prices were less than i remember at other places. He even gave me a small volume discount for being a neighbor. I usually shop at a kosher liquor store though A to Z was so nice, I will definitely go back. read more

amazing store. they usually never charge tax when u pay cash WHICH SAVES A BIG BUCK WHEN BUYING A LARGE QUANTITY. i've been going here for the past couple years and sometimes i'm holidays the whole family is working and they're all amazing and helpful and so kind. the owner is amazing and is always very helpful and gives veryyyyy good prices and i don't regret any purchase here . if the bottle i got was bad i go to exchange it without A hustle. they have a VERY LARGE kosher selection and a very large non kosher selection too. it has amazing wine and liquor and some that i've never even seen in other stores. would 100% recommend coming here if you're ever passing by. read more
