The name of the nurse is Nicole, and if you want to see a nurse that will treat you like a human being, then I do not recommend Nicole. She was very aggressive with her work, unfriendly and just overall an unwelcoming presence. I question her integrity as a nurse and recommend you see a different one. read more

What an awful experience. Signed up for a Shingles vaccine online it. Waited for 40 minutes after my appt before someone came out. Didn't apologize for the wait and seemed irritated. She took my insurance card and DL, even though I had taken photos online, and disappeared for another 5 minutes, without explanation. My wife wandered back there and was immediately chastised by the NP, said she was verifying the info. Finally called me in but tried to exclude my wife. Didn't work. Then she asked why I was there, and then said the insurance wouldn't cover it. How did she know it wasn't covered if she didn't know what I was getting? Had flu for over a week, am running a low grade fever, and wanted to be seen same day without paying an arm and a leg. The website said this particular clinic had 'no wait time' - so even though it was well out of my way, I went there. I waited an hour and a half. So much for 'no wait time.' Neither the lady at the front desk or the Nurse's assistant (if that's what she was) gave me their names, their credentials, or any other info about who I was dealing with. There were no business cards available indicating who I would be talking to. They might as well have been strangers without any training. When I finally got to the room in back the lady from the front desk took my vitals and about 40 minutes later (!) I saw the person who was supposedly in charge of my visit. I had a low grade fever that was confirmed by the lady at the front desk, but person #2 said I had 'no fever'. I told her my mucus was running yellow, she ignored this even though I said it 3 times. I asked if I could get antibiotics. After making me touch my toes (?!) she said she would NOT give me anti bios but 'prescribed' sudafed, nasal rinsing, and if it gets worse to use cough syrup; that if I developed a fever (again, they took my temperature and confirmed I had a fever already) to call her. I received no scrip, no card, and nothing with a direct number. Today, the fever's still with me, the cough is worse, my chest hurts... and I cannot reach them! They are NOT answering their phone and I've been trying for the last 3 hours. There are no alternative phone #s online, just the main line which does NOT pick up. So much for 'just call me back.' DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I might have gotten some otherwise good advice, but my neighbor said the same things, I did not need these people to do so. Further, the lack of transparency is VERY troubling. I will not go back. read more

I had such a positive experience here. I had a health issue which was causing pain and worry and they immediately addressed it and provided help and medications Stacie called me a few days afterwards to check in and explain what my lab work meant in layman's terms, which was very thoughtful. We have been here numerous times for cold, flu, aches, sprains etc... over the last three years. Heather, the Nurse Practitioner, is fantastic. Her diagnoses has always been spot on and she emails prescriptions directly to the pharmacy we use so we just need to go by and pick them up when ready which saves us time. Since it is only her there can be a wait but not much different than other urgent care facilities. read more

*IF YOU NEED A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT, BETTER GO BEFORE TEN DAYS! my husband wasted an hour of his time off work to go here for a 10-day follow-up appt since his diagnosis was probably incorrect & antibiotics not working, only to leave without any treatment after an hour - very frustrated . Wouldn't you say that if you went on the 17th, that the 27th would be TEN DAYS LATER? that's how days are counted..... 27 minus 17 is 10. Simple math here people. apparently not. even the receptionist argued with the doctor that it was 10 days, and the doctor still said it was 11 because the 17th counted as "day 1" - what??? 24 hours later (18th) should be day 1 . totally insane. I called the other nearby Broomfield Little Clinic to ask if this 10-day policy for re-treatment would qualify him for the discounted rate - and she said "of course it would. that's ten days" My husband did not have time to go to yet another clinic the same day, taking more time off. I think corporate needs to get straight on their policies and make sure the people they hire understand basic math. This is not difficult, which made it all the more frustrating. read more

I was seen for a simple sinus infection, and they billed my health insurance at the highest rate possible. When I called the 1800 number to find out why they billed insurance the way they did, they basically told me 'too bad it's our billing system and you have nothing to do with it'. The fact is, that this clinic is over billing insurance and ripping them off. And this is exactly why everybody's health insurance rates keep skyrocketing. Beware if you are a self paying patient, they may rip you off as well. I've tried to resolve this issue numerous times, and nobody seems to want to help. I would rather go to a real doctors office. **Update** The nurse I saw at my appointment called me and very rudely stated that she was correct in her billing code and accused ME of slandering her name. She stated the clinic 'records calls' and that she will listen to my last call to see if I accused her of ripping off my insurance. I have never been so rudely spoken to in my life. DO NOT make an appointment online and then try to come in. I made an appointment and then tried to come in prior to my appointment cause I was feeling worse by the minute. I showed up at 3 pm and told the receptionist I had made an appt for 6 pm but was hoping to be seen sooner. I've been sitting here for two hours now and people that have came in after me as walk ins have been seen before me and when I brought it up to the receptionist, she says it's because I made an appointment so the walk ins get priority ahead of me. I then told her that I was a walk in at 3 pm and she said I will just have to wait until my appointment time at 6 pm. Ridiculous. Why didn't she just say that when I walked in at 3? Like I have nothing better to do in my life than sit in a clinic waiting to be seen for 3 hours. I'd go to a different urgent care if I didn't think I'd be starting all over on another 3 hour wait to be seen. Logic doesn't apply here. Try elsewhere. read more

I sent my 18-year-old son here for a physical for our foster care license because they have a big sign that says "Sports Physicals, $30". After waiting for 15 minutes just to see someone appear they refused to give my son a physical and sign the very simple form required by the state for a foster care physical. The form simply states that the doctor saw him and determined that at that particular moment in time, he's healthy enough to help take care of children. The people were rude and difficult to deal with. I called later to discuss the matter and the employee promised to ask her supervisor about it and call me back. She never called back. During the call she told me, "We do urgent care, not physicals. That's for your primary doctor.". I asked then why do you have a big sign that says "sports physicals?" It's clear to me that the Little Clinic does not support foster/adoptive families in Colorado and they probably don't really want to do their job at all in general. Because of the attitude and apathy, this is not the kind of place where I would trust my children's health care, not even for a band-aid. read more

This is a wonderful service. I was treated better than I am treated at my own doctors office. They listened to me and treated me with respect and now I don't have to waste my lunch hour at work trying to get a painful infection cured because I was able to see someone on a Sunday. The only problem is there may be a wait and they can only see so many patients in a day, but given it is at king soopers it is surely not an inconvenient drive. I will take the wait when given a choice between waiting and paying and expensive urgent care bill! read more

After getting turned away from a Walgreens Clinic because I arrived 6 minutes late for my Sunday afternoon appointment time (my maps app sent me to the wrong shopping center), I called The Little Clinic in Broomfield desperate to be seen for a quick strep test. I had to resort to old-fashioned calling because I had a weak signal in the Walgreens parking lot and knew all walk-in clinic options would not be open much longer. The wonderful nurse/attendant took my call and kindly looked at their wait time, indicating that if I got there within the next 30 minutes that they'd be able to see me. The 2 other Little Clinics I called in Lafayette and Erie were either closed or required appointments and were full for the rest of the day, so with this as my best option, I rushed over. I arrived with several minutes to spare and the nurse/attendant got me checked in with a friendly greeting after remembering my call. After a brief 15 minute wait, I was getting checked by the NP/PA and another 30 minutes later I had a diagnosis (it WAS strep) and antibiotics in hand. So grateful for their care, that they took me as a walk-in and that they went through the trouble to answer my call and check their wait times to confirm they could see me. It was exactly what I needed at that moment and it was fully covered by my insurance with no co-pay required. Even though it's not the closest clinic to my home, I would definitely return for any future weekend health illnesses requiring immediate care. read more

I took my 13 year old daughter to get a sports physical to play volleyball at her middle school. The closing time for this clinic was posted online and at the clinic as 7:30 p.m., but when we arrived after work at 7:05 p.m., were refused service! The receptionist told me the PA was there, just not taking any more clients that day. This is so unprofessional and outrageous that they would close early during the time of year when so many young athletes need to have physicals completed before they are allowed to participate in practices. If these clinics do not take patients after 7:00 p.m., then the official close date should be "7:00 p.m." and NOT "7:30 p.m." Never going back and will use Walgreens from here on out! read more

Not! the assistant "nurse" (Blanca) told me, very rudely that "they do NOT see sick people - I have a nagging cold and I wanted to be seen during my lunch hour. Excellent Care! I arrived 5 minutes before closing time after trying 2 other clinics that were closed. Dierre, the NP was very thorough and did not rush at all even though it was closing time. She was fantastic and even helped me find the over the counter items I needed. I was visiting from out of state & was very impressed with the care at this clinic. Thank you! read more
