Their methods and equipment were incredibly antiquated which probably lead to their diagnosis being consistently wrong. I was here over 50 times! Tested for everything under the sun. Tests, procedures, blah blah blah. If I didn't know better, I'd swear they sat in a room, made up some mumbo jumbo illness with 16 letters and ran all the tests my insurance would tolerate, then declare it was illuminated as a potential. Sometimes having wonderful insurance is a burden. That's when I got smart and headed north for a second diagnosis in Ann Arbor. Not to compare the two, but they figured out the problem plus caught it early enough. If I stuck around Picktown long enough they might have found the problem, during the autopsy. Do better. I am thankful to have a doctor like her. I've seen her for many things - anxiety, chest pain, knee pain, and recently for a neck sprain/whiplash (Why do our bodies have to break down the way that they do when we get older?!). Dr. Parsley always seems to come out with an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan. If you are ever in need of a new doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Parsley! The staff at Diley Ridge are not always the most friendly, but they do get the job done (get you checked in to see your doctor). I really like the new patient portal that Diley Ridge uses. It's very user-friendly. I also like the ability to now check in and pay your co-pay via your phone versus having to provide everything to the front desk staff. It's definitely more convenient and one less hassle!

The 3rd was rather rude and told me I was on too many medications without looking at my history. Even after explaining my history wouldn't back down and neither would I (respectfully advocating for myself). Tried #4 and was told the same thing, then made to take a drug test. Advocated again for myself, saying I was stable and not interested in changing any medications or doses. I'm for sure not okay being forced to prove myself when they could take 5 minutes to look at my medical history. I've been at this location for almost 2 decades and on these medications for more than 2 decades. I hate having to jump through all the hoops yet again. Yes, I feel this is a gender bias issue and I am not being heard. So let me shout it from the roof top. I am stable. I'm not interested in changing my doses or medications. I'm not over medicated. I...am...stable...not interested in your FAFO because you're too lazy to read my history and/or bias think that one colleague's 10 minute opinion means I need a drug test. Look a little further back at my long-term doc's notes and see I have been stable. I'm not doctor shopping for my drugs... I don't want to increase or change them. I'm doctor shopping for respect and to be heard... the first time I say I'm stable, please don't FAFO. I already know what will happen and am not interested in proving it to you. Besides her friendly demeanor, she listened to my requests for a certain vein, popped that needle in, filled four vile of blood, bandaid-ed, and sent me on my way in no more than six minutes!
