They say if you get red lines from insect bites to get it checked out as it may be infected. I felt silly, but went anyway, and got there around 1pm. It wasn't busy. There was a woman chain smoking and walking back and forth near the entrance. Inside was one man. I went to the window to register and see someone. The medical assistant provided me with paperwork which I completed. It was my first time here so it took a few minutes to create a record of me, scan in my ID cards, etc. Apparently I came at a good time because she commented her computer system was timing out earlier and there were 5-6 people before noon which was busy for them. She was pleasant and professional. I went into room 2 as instructed. It was very gray. I could see a shoe print on the wall. The example table was tilted up into a chair position. I sat in the regular chair because I would have ripped the exam table paper if I sat on it. The gentleman who saw me was masked and gloved up. I don't recall him identifying himself as a physician, nurse practitioner, etc. He took a look at my arm and said I was having a slight allergic reaction to the bite and it was not an infection. If it was that size after a week with streaky red lines in my veins or I was having anaphylaxis I would need medical treatment with antibiotics or an epi pen. So of course I felt even more ridiculous than I had when I decided to go in and get it looked at.

We had to come here because my wife had an allergic reaction to something. We came in on a Sunday…read morearound 1:30pm and could you believe no one was there! She was checked out right away! CNP Kelly was amazing! He was though in chid check and extremely caring! Which is something you want when going to a medical center. The lobby and exam rooms were clean! Would definitely go back in we needed to.

If you have an ongoing issue with your foot or your heart, etc - this is not the place for you. If you are sick and cat't see your doctor same day, or need a physical, or have some basic health issue - definitely this is a great choice. I am really grateful for this clinic and the staff who work here. The professionals here are working under a retail operation, and doing so under the same types of budget and personnel challenges typical of this type of operation. I see these professionals doing everything that would normally be done in a private practice by an army of staff alone, and I'm sure the compensation is less as well. The online system here is not very good - this is true. I struggled to sign in for my appointment because it won't take my payment card. Speaking from multiple visits, I can say I am always able to get an appointment quickly. When i arrive, I am always seen on-time or very close to the scheduled time. I always encounter professional and helpful care, and I am always confident that my problem will be addressed. I feel lucky that i have a service so close that can address most of my urgent medical issues at a reasonable cost, and in a professional and timely manner. Again, great staff here and i highly recommend. I would call out a thank you to all of them, if I could remember everyone's names. But thank you to NP Huddle for working late hours so I could get an appointment same day. Thanks to the staff for fast treatment when i had COVID and also flu - as well as every other visit - and for all of the hard work to run a practice on no staff, so that I can roll in at 7pm and still be seen promptly.

The screen asked me a million questions to let me know that there are not appointments for the day.read more

Take elevator in garage to level 2 there is a pedestrian bridge to Ross. Tip: You can access Rhodes from Ross but its quicker to get off at level one and walk outside. I was going to Rhodes. Check in is easy. Turn right at the info booth and you will see the registration room. They will log you in and then walk you to your next floor or department for your procedure. You kind of feel like you have your own tour guide. Waiting rooms were clean. They had reclining seats in some of them. The secretary at endoscopy was not at her station for five minutes and people who came in after me then got checked in before me Found that irritating. Plus they just left my stickers on her desk... for all to see. pretty sure that is a HIPPA violation. I didnt like my stickers abandoned on an empty desk. The person scheduled in front of me was late so I got a room 45 min early! Yay me. Tip: always get to these appt times promptly or early.... That person is going to be sad they were late. Staff was great. I need filtered IVs due to a heart condition and that was available and checked on by both anesthesia and my surgeon/doctor. Felt my heart safety was very well cared for. Procedure was explained thoroughly. Dr Hooper was personable, and answered any questions I had thoroughly without rushing or making me feel silly for having questions. Procedure went smoothly. Seems cancer free, thats a good thing. Now just waiting on stomach biopsies. If you ever need a thorough, competent and kind doctor to determine if you have ulcers/stomach cancer... I highly recommend Alexander Hooper at OSU.

Before I going to say how deeply angry I'm about this OSU Urology Dept I have to give thanks to…read morethose employees who cared & tried to help my son with his kidney stone. Doctor Creagh Boulger at OUS East treated my son with vigilance when my son came in bleeding dark red blood & in tremendous pain. He restored the Opioids for the pain which is rated worst than childbirth. Included was a Cat Scan to make sure his kidney wasn't totally blocked & treated my son with Autism with dignity. Garin from the Patient Response Team listened to my concerns & it seemed to me that he was going to try hard to get better treatment for my son. It is possible that he had an influence as instead of waiting until May 21 for Mike's treatment they removed it on May 12th. Doctor Matthew Lee was the kind Doctor who stepped up to the plate. The practice of waiting so long to treat something as painful as a stone is unconscionable. Mike suffered so much during this ordeal from his pain, his Autism and because he couldn't work his full time job. I don't understand what caused this whether it was the industry which causes people to often declare bankruptcy in order to obtain health care. We have the most expensive health by far than the rest of the Industrialized world such as Germany for example which provides Universal health care, out lives us & those who have job pay about 1/2 what wee pay here. Every time I myself suffered from kidney stones the Medical team would give the patient 4 to 5 days to pass it and it it wasn't passed in that time they would go in and remove it. Mike will avoid OSU if he is ever to get the stones again. And in most cases such as mine he will eventually have another attacks.
