There's no negative enough rating I can put with this review. Seriously. The last time we came in, we were not treated correctly. Had to go elsewhere and pay again to actually get help. So today, time was short and had to use them again. BIG MISTAKE. Apparently unseasoned Nurse practitioner "D" argued with me when I told her her opinion to go do flu testing on my daughter was incorrect. She SMIRKED when I was visibly bothered. My wife, who is imunno-compromised, then had to come in to hear the SAME DRIVEL that we came to hear her opinion. My wife is a BSN Nurse with tons and years of experience in both large and small hospital settings. She told this arrogant unprofessional that we'd all been tested for the flu and it was negative. She told her our daughter is homeschooled so she has had no contact with anyone else. Unprofessional "D" was demeaning and with a bed side manner unfit for even a mortuary setting, we were done. We walked out and got my daughter treated elsewhere, where they listened to the same information and gave my daughter the help she needed. It's hard to get me bothered but I will actively tell people to avoid this place. Patients don't "pay for opinions". We pay for results and for someone to LISTEN...not TELL. Unprofessional "D" made this time, which is already stressful enough with the pandemic...she made it downright intolerable. She decidedly chose to make it severely adversarial and for a profession which must show it cares more than any other, she has no class nor the capability to empathize with patients. Why do I HAVE to be ignored when I'm sharing what the facts are and have fight for my daughters treatment because this place decided to employ someone so crass??? We'll never go here again. I'd drive out of state if it were necessary before ever trusting the care of my loved ones to Sunbury Urgent Care. Update: went to another urgent care not far away and GOT AMAZING, PROFESSIONAL care which addressed my daughters issues directly!! It seems like I visit this place every summer for poison ivy. I think the last three summers, to be exact. They are always super friendly, super helpful and I get in and out quickly - even during COVID. I highly recommend this place. read more

I have always received nothing but the absolute best care ever from this urgent care! Not to mention, that I seem to always be in and seen and out within roughly 15-20 minutes. There is practically zero wait time, and the staff is quick, efficient, and caring. My primary doctor who I don't care to change bc I love them so much, are a considerable distance away. Having a medical facility like urgent care nearby, is a huge help to me. I have been coming here over the last three to four years I'd say, and I can't brag or thank them enough. I have never had to wait longer that 5-7 minutes to be taken back and examined. I could not recommend any other location more for your urgent needs, when sickness is sprung on you. Zero stars. i ended up in the ER. This was a couple years ago and just my personal experience. I was very tired and having shortness of breath. I went there. NP said it was getting over a cold and my airway was reactive. Temp below normal, but no one would say why. everyone seemed to be in a hurry. I was literally the only patient in the building. Ended up in ER ... i was dehydrated. My pulse was in the 140s, which is very high. The MD said that my tongue was furrowed etc. I received two bags of IV fluid, etc. I also had an infection and gave me antibiotics. Based on my personal experience, i will not let my family go to this urgent care. My experience also was a very large ER bill. Next time i will see my doctor during normal hours instead of thinking everything is a virus. Just my experience... read more

Very friendly staff with no long waiting time. Clean facility. Nurse Practitioner on staff . I had a kidney infection. They were able to take the urine sample and do testing at the time, then sent out the urine for further testing. I was prescribed mediation. The facility then called to follow up with me two days later. When I missed the call, they left a voice mail. They called another 2 days later. I was very happy going to this urgent care. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this Urgent Care. I went here to be treated for a small rash, NP shined a flash light on it and told me it was a bug bite and prescribed a cream. I finally got in to see my PCP a few days later and he diagnosed me with the Shingles and said that cream was actually making it worse. Normally I wouldn't post a review but this was not my first bad experience at this UC. read more

DR RUTH IS HORRIBLE. She was rude, undunfriendly, and was rushed the entire time she saw me. There were only two other patients there so she wAsnt behind. She asked me my symptoms and then interuppted me and said you have the flu. I told her my chest was hurting and she barely listened to me breathe. I had been sent over from the minute clinic due to her being concerned from what she heard. Im still having chest tightness the next day & will have to go again. But NOT to Sunbury urgent care. Sad thing is DR RUTH is only a certified nurse practioner which is the same as the minute clinic. Im just thankful it was me and not my children. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO SUNBURY URGENT CARE AND I WOULD ADVISE OTHERS THE SAME! read more

Please choose to go somewhere else. I was misdiagnosed on my first visit and after a week my symptoms got progressively worse. On my return visit I wasn't treated and was told to go to the ER, and was charged $112. No wonder healthcare costs are out of control. Brought my son to this location for an ear infection, doctor said one of his ears looked just a little red, would not prescribe antibiotics and said it should clear itself up. Next day took my son to his doctor, he had a double ear infection and was immediately prescribed antibiotics, huge difference within 24 hours. To think he suffered an extra day for their incompetence. Can't trust the doctors at this place, won't go back and I'm not paying the bill. read more

I took my teenage son in with fatigue, ashiness etc that had been occurring for almost 10 days. We were told it was a virus and there was no need to check of mono. Spoke with a friend who is a physician and he was worried. He arranged for a blood test the next day. He had mono. Now, I'm fighting with them about the bill. I have proof I paid the bill (sent them bank statement and check as proof). I tried to pay in the office at the time of the visit and they said they had to bill me. Facility is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Doctors are knowledgeable & patient. They do not make you feel like you are on an assembly line. For non-emergency issues I would definitely recommend then vs. a drive to the nearest hospital read more

I wish I could give 0 stars for this establishment. First off you will see a Nurse Practitioner and not a doctor. I have been there 5-6 times and only once was I treated with respect. The nurse that is in charge and there most often is the most arrogant condescending health professional I have ever met. If you legitimately need help she may help you if she sees fit. Example, I broke my nose boxing, and I mean bad. It didn't stop bleeding for hours so I went in to have it looked at. She asked what the problem was and I told her my nose is broken and won't stop bleeding. She said condescendingly, "how do YOU know it's broken." Ummm because I've been fighting for years and this is the third time Nurse Ratched. X-Rays were taken and she pointed to the area that "might" be broken but it's not sever enough to tell. I could see it from across the room. I now drive out of my way to go to another urgent care because I don't feel the need to beg for her help. read more

What an amazing facility!!! Clean, kind staff , very quick service. I have been in the military a majority of my life and I am used to government medical. The staff was very informative and concerned for all patients in the facility equally. I hope you never need medical care but if you do this is the place to go. read more

If it is a sinus problem that brings you there, don't waste your time and money. Insists there is no such thing as sinus infections unless it has been there for a month. I cannot imagine being like this for two to four weeks. Only gave a prescription for a sinus medication that is not even close to being as strong as my maintenance sinus medication. Even though it was electronically transmitted, called pharmacy and told them to cancel as I had better medicine at home!! read more
