A wonderful business in the Bird House Complex. The best way for me to describe The Little Play Avenue is a " fancy indoor playroom". It's not a traditional playground with slides and swings. Rather, it's a play area focused in imaginative play. My baby is too young for imaginative play but enjoys, calling around and playing with different toys and reading different books. This playroom is best for toddlers so they can dress up, pretend to go to a market, play with puppets. Still, there is something for all baby and toddler ages here! I've tried two items from the coffee shop which was an August matcha special and a brewed tea. The matcha was delicious and not too sweet! The brewed iced tea was refreshing and floral! Otherwise, I've tried iced maple oat latte sample. This was smooth and seemed like the perfect cool drink for fall flavors during warm weather. In terms of service, I've had some variable experiences so far. The first time I stopped in to ask about their services, the employee was vague and wasn't very helpful. They told me to go their website and make an account. The interaction left me with no idea if the business hosted events, classes, or play sessions. The other two times that I visited, the service was phenomenal. An employee showed me where the nursing and diaper changing room was. The barista was friendly and informative about menu options. At the end of one of the play sessions, a sweet employee came over and played with my baby as well! Giving five stars as the space and concept is incredible and majority of service is wonderful. A great local business!

We visited for the first time today, and it was truly one of the best business experiences I've ever had. I'm usually cautious about trying new places in this area because staff interactions can be hit or miss, but here, every single employee impressed me with their kindness and down-to-earth attitude. It was such a refreshing experience. I believe that customer interaction is something that's become very overlooked. Hospitality must be one of their key focuses. It's very obvious. The matcha was outstanding, and the play area was incredible, perfectly designed so you can relax in the seating area while still keeping an eye on your little one. Absolutely first-class! Usually watching a little guy can be very stressful, but I was very at ease with the setup and ambience. I've already recommended this place to friends, and I highly recommend it to you too.

Staff is so friendly and coffee was delicious however I went today and found it difficult to enjoy myself as times we came in the past. Many mothers were on their phones and not watching their children. Kids were throwing toys and parents were not having them pick up their mess. I found myself cleaning other kids messes so I would not have to worry about my son tripping over random blocks on the floor. If we were to come back, I'd really like it if there's possibly a staff member that would be able to monitor the play area and ensure parents are being responsible and watching their children. I really enjoyed this place in the past, but I was really frustrated leaving today.

This is the most amazing play space I've seen! I took my daughter her for her second birthday and she had such a blast playing in the pretend grocery store, cafe, and animal hospital. This space is SO beautiful and well-designed. It is so clean- they close every 90 min to sanitize everything! The coffee shop is delicious, and you can even place an order from the play area so you don't have to leave your kiddo or stop them from playing. The staff are also very kind. The pricing here is on par with the other upscale boutique play spaces in Phoenix. Unfortunately that means it's just a "special occasion" place for our budget, but we'd be here every day if we could!

The details of these play areas are amazing.

This place sounded too good to be true, but it is true! It was very easy to log into their website and create an account to make a reservation. We chose the 8am time slot on a Thursday morning with an eagerness to try the coffee shop now connected to Play Avenue. The registration is affordable and worth it 100% in my opinion. This place is immaculately clean, smells amazing, plays calming music and is so cute we couldn't stop talking about it. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, checking in was easy and exciting. Staff walks around and will even engage with your kiddos. The bathrooms are gorgeous and have everything you would need from new born to toddler, even the hand towels are high quality. The coffee is delicious, I had an iced Americano. You get to sit at a Paris esque cafe table while you watch your kid play. They have pastries and snacks as well as drinks for the younger palettes. I love this place and will come back every time I'm in Phoenix.

We opted for the all in package where Boojum coordinated with their preferred venders to handle about 90% of the arrangements and for a VERY reasonable price. Everyone brought their A game!! Food was delicious, music was fantastic (even with a last minute DJ swap due to an emergency), and the grounds were stunning! They did everything right. Multiple beautiful backdrops available for the big day. We chose the grand fountain but soooo many other great options. Even the little things. Everyone warned us how hard it is to eat on your wedding day but as soon as we left the ceremony area to the backstage, there was a waiter for my wife and I along with the bridal party with appetizers and drink orders. Jennifer the day of works as your wedding coordinator and she does a fantastic job! Everything was so well run and on time as well. Everyone told me this was the best venue and the best experience they ever had at a wedding and I know it wasn't just them being nice! If you're the type of person who wants to be able to say you got married at Wrigley, fine. But if your focus is the best possible experience for your guests and yourselves, Boojum is by far the way to go!! These guys throw an EPIC wedding and party!!!

If you haven't been there, then you definitely need to pay it a visit. However, for a wedding venue, it was a bit odd. Maybe this was the fault of the coordinator? First the good things! The customer service really was great! The staff managing the bar area were super friendly and great to talk to at every visit! The food served was delicious, no complaints at all! The decor and aesthetics were wonderful for the venue and the Arizona area. The area in the main part of the venue, were the ceremony took place was lovely and shaded. There was a fountain and surrounded by lovely trees and structures. As with all venues, hosting a wedding with a cash or cash-less bar, this venue fell into the same issue. The alcohol not in bottles or cans just had to be watered down. There is no possible way our friends and myself had as many vodka mixed drinks, we are talking about over 10 or 11 at least for myself, and never even got a buzz. This seemed to be the consensus. The other issue was just the layout. The covered area / enclosed structure where the dinner took place was large and spacious. It was decorated with plants and man made areas that were lovely and it kept everyone together, socializing, and simply having fun. When that was done we were moved to an area behind the bar/sitting structure for live DJ and dance floor. This was simply counter productive to encouraging that togetherness and partying. instead it had various separate and distinct fire pits with covered areas and seating around each one. This pretty much cause the wedding party to all separate into their own clicks and neither one really interacting unless you were directly related/known to them some how. The dance floor was a raised gazebo area, which was lovely. However, from where some of the fire pits were, you had no view of who was dancing or if anyone was dancing. The DJ played a great playlist but she could have been definitely more interactive.

Service: Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Everyone loved my dog. Room: It's decent, nice but wasn't as luxurious as other properties in the same level. It is a bit weird to have the shower in the middle of the room and an open concept bathroom separated by a curtain. The bed is comfy and place was quiet. Even so the Edit said upgrade possible if available, we did not get an upgrade :(. Boo. Food: Hearth 61 had pretty good food and the Edit gives $90 a day for 2 for breakfast. That is a very generous amount. They serve the food until 2pm (more like brunch) so you can technically can get two meals out of the credit. Credit doesn't all have to be one transaction. Dog amenities: They give you a dog package with a bed, bowl, poo bags, pee pad, and treats. There isn't a designated relief area but there are multiple areas around you can take your dog. There is no grass or turf and it's all rocks. The bad: The room has no fridge and if you want a fridge you have to pay $25 (freezer is $40). We needed one so we decided to use part of our Edit $100 credit to get one. Kinda annoying for a resort room to not have a fridge and if not, why isn't the fridge fee included in the resort fee? Late checkout is at 2pm. When you check out, make sure you ask for an itemized bill. For some reason, the computer took the charges from the $100 credit first and did not apply it to the breakfast credit so we ended up owing $100. However a quick mention to the front desk and they were able to take care of that for us. ALSO, not a hotel thing but I must mention, Paradise Valley has speeding and red lights cameras on Lincoln. They are enforced for BOTH and the speed limit is 40mph. Do not go over or you will get flashed -_-

We used the valet parking as the signage was a bit unclear, so it seemed the easier solution than going up and down stairs to find Geordie's. The entrance had the open feeling of a grand house, with the wrought iron staircase and the beautiful ceiling, terracotta tiles and wood furnishings. There was a wedding party in the large restaurant area that we passed on the way to our table in a separate area. The table was set with care and the rose petals were such a thoughtful touch! As a European I was pleasantly surprised by a small velvet covered stool, placed by my side, for my purse: these touches made the evening even more memorable. No rushing to seat more people or a check arriving while still deciding if something else was going to be ordered. I do enjoy a real meal in a real restaurant, with table linens, linen napkins, the proper glasses, the good silverware. Nick was taking care of our table and was very attentive to anything we may have needed. The cocktails we had were the " Ready, Fire, Aim" with rye whiskey, Drambuie, St Remy and bitters, and the "Dr Vincent's Penicillin" with scotch, lemon, honey, ginger and Laphroaig spritz: both were delicious. For the meal I had the Risotto made with Carnaroli rice, oyster mushrooms, truffle and asparagus; for me the risotto was just a bit over but it was creamy and all of it eaten! The Scallop Ceviche was fabulous, thinly sliced served with auicos, sliced jalapeño, leche de tigre : my chile allergy wouldn't let me taste this dish, but my partner ate it all so definitely good :) The main course consisted of the prime Filet for me, cooked perfectly!! to my medium-rare with emphasis on rare, served on pommes purée and enjoyed to the last bite; the other order was for the dry smoked Branzino (sea bass) with olive tapenade, artichoke and tomato: the fish was so moist and tasty, the skin crispy, and was presented beautifully. For dessert we shared the "Milk and Honey" which is a twist on panna cotta with brown buttercream and honeycomb. With dessert I had my usual after dinner espresso with a shot Sambuca to go with it. Thank you Nick for taking such good care of us. A perfect meal and ambiance for a special night
