Went here with my daughter and grandson. He had so much fun! There were many fun areas with various play themes. The puppets and the car/trucks were favorite spots. This play area is very clean! At the end of the session, they played the clean up song which was a good cue that it was time to clean up and leave. There is a little coffee shop inside of the play Avenue as well as a sitting area. We did enjoy that after the session. My daughter said it is a little expensive, but worth it for a once in a while play day. read more

We live about 6 minutes away in North Scottsdale, so I was excited to check this place out before committing to a membership. My daughter (almost 2) had fun for one visit, but I'm really glad we tried a single session first. For context, we also have memberships to Musicology, gymnastics, and ballet, so we're familiar with what children's activities in the area typically cost. At $30 per play session, I expected a higher-quality experience. Unfortunately, many of the toys looked quite worn and could use replacing, and I could see my daughter getting bored after a few visits because there wasn't as much variety as I expected. I was also disappointed by the cleanliness. There were visible splatter marks on the play area windows, some dusty surfaces, and several children were coughing throughout the space. While I understand kids get sick, cleanliness is especially important in an indoor play environment. One other thing that concerned me was that parents were leaving drinks from the café on the children's tables inside the play area. My daughter almost grabbed someone's drink multiple times. It seems like there should be designated areas for adult beverages to help keep the play space safer for little ones. Overall, I think the concept is great, and I hope they continue to invest in maintaining and refreshing the space. For the current price, though, I personally didn't feel it offered enough value to justify a membership. read more

A wonderful business in the Bird House Complex. The best way for me to describe The Little Play Avenue is a " fancy indoor playroom". It's not a traditional playground with slides and swings. Rather, it's a play area focused in imaginative play. My baby is too young for imaginative play but enjoys, calling around and playing with different toys and reading different books. This playroom is best for toddlers so they can dress up, pretend to go to a market, play with puppets. Still, there is something for all baby and toddler ages here! I've tried two items from the coffee shop which was an August matcha special and a brewed tea. The matcha was delicious and not too sweet! The brewed iced tea was refreshing and floral! Otherwise, I've tried iced maple oat latte sample. This was smooth and seemed like the perfect cool drink for fall flavors during warm weather. In terms of service, I've had some variable experiences so far. The first time I stopped in to ask about their services, the employee was vague and wasn't very helpful. They told me to go their website and make an account. The interaction left me with no idea if the business hosted events, classes, or play sessions. The other two times that I visited, the service was phenomenal. An employee showed me where the nursing and diaper changing room was. The barista was friendly and informative about menu options. At the end of one of the play sessions, a sweet employee came over and played with my baby as well! Giving five stars as the space and concept is incredible and majority of service is wonderful. OBSESSED is an understatement!! The perfect place to bring your infant/toddler/kid AND they have a coffee shop inside?! What more could us mammas want! I got the strawberry matcha and I'm not joking it was probably one of the best I've EVER HAD!!! The coffee is incredible here you could come just for that. The play area is amazing and so clean- they have a great cleaning policy here between play sessions that puts our mind at ease! My 9 month old had a great play date here we spent more than an hour! Slightly disappointed. Came here when it first opened under two years ago and everything was brand new. In the time since it's been opened, everything is so much more worn. Missing pieces to puzzles, missing magnet pens on the airplane play board, broken shopping carts, and all the wooden food was so faded, scratched, etc. it's a shame because it's not a cheap place to play at $30 for 1.5 hours. Three employees - one at the cafe reading a book, two at the front - one on the computer and one on her phone. No one actively cleaning up after the kids or wiping anything down. Also suggested it's best for under 3 yr olds. Not much for slightly older kids 3-5. Older kids get bored easily. read more

Literally they clean every 1.5 hr..... every other kid place I've gone to I go in between sessions and they do not clean. If your child is under 1 yr old it's free... you can go all day if you want for free. The staff is AMAZING! Literally so grateful I found this place. read more

We visited for the first time today, and it was truly one of the best business experiences I've ever had. I'm usually cautious about trying new places in this area because staff interactions can be hit or miss, but here, every single employee impressed me with their kindness and down-to-earth attitude. It was such a refreshing experience. I believe that customer interaction is something that's become very overlooked. Hospitality must be one of their key focuses. It's very obvious. The matcha was outstanding, and the play area was incredible, perfectly designed so you can relax in the seating area while still keeping an eye on your little one. Absolutely first-class! Usually watching a little guy can be very stressful, but I was very at ease with the setup and ambience. This is the most amazing play space I've seen! I took my daughter her for her second birthday and she had such a blast playing in the pretend grocery store, cafe, and animal hospital. This space is SO beautiful and well-designed. It is so clean- they close every 90 min to sanitize everything! The coffee shop is delicious, and you can even place an order from the play area so you don't have to leave your kiddo or stop them from playing. The staff are also very kind. The pricing here is on par with the other upscale boutique play spaces in Phoenix. We came in when our regular toddler play space was rented out for a birthday party but we'd already given to that side of town. Honestly, the vibe was off and I wasn't expecting the snobby vibe of "mommies looking through you", considering that this is in a more mainstream neighborhood. Overpriced and strange structure of playtimes ending and starting. The staff were friendly but the onboarding process was needlessly cumbersome. It's odd that they sell fancy pastries and coffees but don't tell you until after your purchase that you can't bring them into the dining tables in the play area. The play offerings focused primarily on concrete storyline/role style activity, owing to the very concrete toys and stations. It was cute, but my daughter loves more open-ended style play and the one slide they had got squeezed with traffic. The space was also a bit small for the amount of children using it at once. They seem to be in a learning curve but others seem happy with it so maybe it's just personal preference. I do want to restate that the staff were pleasant. read more

Staff is so friendly and coffee was delicious however I went today and found it difficult to enjoy myself as times we came in the past. Many mothers were on their phones and not watching their children. Kids were throwing toys and parents were not having them pick up their mess. I found myself cleaning other kids messes so I would not have to worry about my son tripping over random blocks on the floor. If we were to come back, I'd really like it if there's possibly a staff member that would be able to monitor the play area and ensure parents are being responsible and watching their children. Soooo worth the money! I visited the coffee shop here 7 months ago with my son but I thought he was too little to fully enjoy so I waited a bit to book! Easy to set up online, I booked an 8 am play time (they're all 90 minutes, with time in between so they can clean). We were the first there, it didn't get overly busy during our slot. Kids and adults, and staff of course were all super polite and respectful. I loved how clean it was and how much there was to do! My 14 month old was especially into the little grocery store and every toy that spins haha. It is pricey but good if you're getting a membership to go often or just going once in a while! With it being so close and us having such a good experience we will totally be back again! read more

This place is super cute! I take my nephew here and he loves it. I will say that he is under one and Its not the BEST for under one BUT they get in FREE if under the age of 1 and that is great. For a walking child this place is GREAT!!!!! A couple things, there is not much seating for parents they serve coffee and some little bakery type snacks. There are a lot of windows Which is great but it gets VERY hot in there - Ive only been in the winter so I assume the summer will be hard to keep cool. I will continue to come back and I would recommend this place and take friends. The staff is sweet and helpful. We didn't know that 1 year olds were free another customer let me know - When I told my sister she called and they credited her back for all the times that she had paid!!! Great service. They offer rooms for parties and they are cute cute cute! I say if you have younger kids and looking for some indoor fun this is a good place to go. This place sounded too good to be true, but it is true! It was very easy to log into their website and create an account to make a reservation. We chose the 8am time slot on a Thursday morning with an eagerness to try the coffee shop now connected to Play Avenue. The registration is affordable and worth it 100% in my opinion. This place is immaculately clean, smells amazing, plays calming music and is so cute we couldn't stop talking about it. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, checking in was easy and exciting. Staff walks around and will even engage with your kiddos. The bathrooms are gorgeous and have everything you would need from new born to toddler, even the hand towels are high quality. The coffee is delicious, I had an iced Americano. You get to sit at a Paris esque cafe table while you watch your kid play. They have pastries and snacks as well as drinks for the younger palettes. Went to a birthday party here! Such an adorable place! The girls working were very sweet and attentive to the children. The facility itself was spotless. All of the toys were in great working order and I didn't see any dust or dirt anywhere. The restrooms were also very clean. I appreciated that there were warm wipes in the nursing room! This is an incredible place to host ANY kind of private event. I came to Leena with an adult-only, Mom centered, Galentines Day event in mind and her team ran with it. They exceeded my expectations and delivered the most beautiful Valentines Day party I (as well as our guests) have ever seen. We invited 24 mothers and encouraged them to bring their children to utilize the supervised childcare in Little Play Avenue's stunning play space, while we had brunch in the private room. The LPA Staff watched over the kids while us mommas we able to enjoy a kid-free brunch, mimosas and craft coffees. They came up with a signature coffee list for our event, handled all the communication between vendors, created our electronic invitations, created custom signage and virtual signage, and handled EVERY detail of the decor... which was to die for. It was truly a Pinterest Board come to life! During the event, we made flower arrangements, charm necklaces and enjoyed our Brunch while the children safely played in the play space. This venue would be incredible for baby shower, baby sprinkle, any kind of birthday or club event. I could even see brides being drawn to this space. Just the best. I spoke with the owner A DAY before I needed a place for my son's first birthday. She was absolutely amazing and accommodating for us and our small party. We've been dealing with a lot of personal matters at home and I had no clue what or where I was going to have my sons first special big day and thankfully Little Play Avenue had our backs and came through. The staff AMAZING.. the owner I wish I could remember her name AMAZING the coffee bar and staff AMAZING and the best part.. very reasonably priced. I love a family owned business that isn't out to price gouge people. I wish she knew how much she helped us and made our boys day so special. The playroom was clean organized and felt like HOME. I love this place so much! It's so adorable and my little always has so much imaginative fun. It's super clean and beautiful. Everyone is so friendly. The coffee place makes delicious lattes and they have snacks for purchase for the kids like little cheeses, juice boxes and fruit pouches. My only complaint is that they always have the pastry dish on the counter but it's always empty. I always ask for one with my latte and the answer is always, we don't get them in until later. Later? Who wants a pastry and latte at 2pm? Most people like one with their morning coffee. It's a real bummer especially since the pastry dish is just staring at you with nothing on it. Such a tease. I brought my 2 year old son in to play today and fell in love with the space, the amenities and the vibe! The staff was super welcoming and friendly and my son was thrilled to see the adorable shops and play areas built just for him. The toys were high quality and everything was spotless and well maintained. I especially enjoyed the "lullaby room" which was completely private and equipped with a comfortable rocking chair, changing table and even diapers as wipes. It was the perfect place to nurse my 2 month old while my son played with his Gigi in the play area. I can't wait until the coffee bar opens in the next few weeks!
