The store has a nice selection of best sellers, kids books, and event offerings. The staff and manager are friendly and happy to be there. A cozy little bookshop right on Cookman! I've stopped in here before when in town and love browsing…read morethe $2 used book section. They didn't have the specific book I was looking for on my last visit but I still left with a mystery "Blind Date with a Book" book! Wrapped up and only giving me a tease of what it's about and only $5. Very excited to add this to my book-loving mom's gifts this year. The store has a variety of books, some new and some classics. I also love checking out their book club section on the far right wall for some recs for future reading. The team that was working that day let me know that almost everyone you see in store is a volunteer & that they host lots of events over the course of the year.

The Book Garden is really something different. The owners seem to know every book that's for sale…read morein their store of thousands of books. there are categories of subjects for every preference. It's relaxing to shop there. It's a great place for the curious to find a new subject to delve into. Whether historic or new, hardcover or not, stop here for your next good read and expect to pay a reasonable price.

Maybe there was and I missed it? This "bookstore " is in the Collingswood flea market so I understand and enough said. However, I bought 8 ( on was a set of 4 small, thin books in a sleeve) 8 childrens books that cost me 15.00 dollar. I was shocked but I didn't say anything. I should have asked how much each was I think, so my bad. I then took a look at the little alcove he has with all kinds of books that were well arranged. There I saw a sign that said 5.00 for each book. Now, there were hardbacks in really good shape, there were trade paperbacks in really good shape mostly, and then there were mass paperbacks. I'm found one hardcover that I really wanted and one trade paperback. I realized that I could buy both online at thriftbooks for most like less with no shipping cos, so I left. Maybe consider doing a price scale? if I hadn't just paid 15.00 for 8 children's books that I will be setting outside on Halloween for kids hat either can't have candy or would just like a fun book for free, I probably would have bought the books I wanted. The store owner was incredibly knowlegable and helped me find additional authors I never even heard of. My sister found a pile of equaly desired titles she wanted in a completly different genra. I visited The Book Trader a few days ago. What an experience!…read more First of all, they have every type of book imaginable. From cookbooks to sci fi, from fantasy to biographies, from adult romances to children's picture books! You could find books from the 1600s all the way until the 21st century. The Book Trader is exactly what its name says: it trades books. You can bring books, which they will give you store credit for and then you can buy books for cheaper than they would cost in a regular store. This was such a great idea, in my opinion. I traded in 2 books and bought one. Now, aside from being separated vaguely by genre and authors' works being mostly together, there is no other sorting system to this store. Books, as you can see in my pictures, are all over the place and it is very hard to walk around parts of the store. If you want a specific book...good luck! Also, make sure you have cash on you. The store only takes cash and checks.

This store is adorable! They have so many books, so many sections and subsections! There is parking…read morein the front, and elsewhere around the little strip area of shops. If you pull in, you do end up backing onto a busy road so leave with caution. As I said, they have a great selection. There are four rooms of boons, each section is clearly labeled and occasional thematic decor. There are also occasional benches so you can sit and debate which books you want to "adopt". They're used, but gently and each has a price lower then the face value written inside. They also have the largest selection of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys I've ever seen. Its all very impressive.
