If you're looking for a place with good vibes to just relax, have good conversation, eat, and enjoy some good cocktails, all while listening to good music, then this place has it all. It is literally a living room with plenty of sofas and chairs to lounge on, or you can enjoy the outdoor patio on a cool evening. There is even fun artwork that adorns all of the walls. Our particular nights to come are Saturdays when local DJ and former Club 101 owner Joe Dorgan turns out great 80's music and videos. He's even come by to ask for requests and is always personable and polite. The bartenders are very experienced and quick to attend to you. This is always one of our go to spots because as a couple in our 40's, it's not too loud, too crowded, or a place where trouble goes looking for you. Very laid back and chill with friendly patrons and staff.

Still a 5 star place since my first review but there are some updates to be had. First the food menu is now by Moonsi Cafe, which specializes in vegan and vegetarian cuisine. There are a few meat items like pepperoni pizza and picadillo burrito but the vast majority of the food is veggie friendly. This should not shy away carnivores though, on taco Tuesday we all enjoyed potato, avocado, mushroom, and squash tacos. Such a fun place to hang out, and I'll say it again it's a must go!

Hey El Paso, did you know we have a new New York Deli in town? It's run by 2 Yemeni brothers and…read moreit's legit. We stopped by after our Sun City escape room adventure and I brought some friends who were from the Bronx and they said it was legit, including the sodas that were available. It's certainly nicer than most corner bodegas but just as fully stocked with everything from snacks to aspirin. The menu is mostly cold and hot sandwiches with some middle Eastern specialties like falafels and lamb gyros. I was really excited to see if they had shish tawouk but they don't. I guess I have to convince my friends to bring the Halel Brothers here next...ahem Paul T. The best thing though is that this place is open to 3:00 a.m. on the weekends! Definitely a must-hop if you're in the area and need necessities now that the CVS is closed and grab a delicious sandwich or snacks to go. I first encountered this deli through the (now closed) far west location. The young man there was…read moreincredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, and I made it a habit to go as often as possible. This location on Mills has the same sort of set up and menu. My order was made well and flavorful, but neither of the employees here were friendly. Rather than feeling welcome or valued as a customer (I was literally the only customer), I felt like I had interrupted their evening somehow. To be fair, this was my first visit to this location, but I'm not sure if I'll be back. There are other halal and Middle Eastern businesses in El Paso that actually demonstrate the kind of hospitality I've always associated with my Lebanese, Syrian, Eqyptian, Yemeni, and Saudi friends. The food was great... but $12.31 for a small sandwich (I tipped) where I felt unwelcome the whole time? It's not gonna be high on my list. I really wish the other location had survived, it was excellent AND had great customer service.
