Checked out this truck at the hollywood arts park food truck round up. I'll be honest it is a tad bit pricey but that's my only warning about this truck. I said why not and tried their lobster roll specifically the lobstalicious garlic roll and I will say every dollar spent was worth every bite. They definitely DO NOT skimp on lobster and the seasoning is perfect. So those of you that like their lobster roll specifically a certain way well this truck nailed it. The lobster is served on a warm toast and the lobster is about room temperature it's not iced nor hot. Every bite you had several large pieces of lobster so when I say they don't believe I skimping It's just the truth. By the time I finish the 1st roll I went back for another one. The rolls are quite a good size to eat one, I got too greet and got a 2nd one which I barely could finish the second roll. A few weeks ago I tried an awesome lobster roll at another food truck, so when I saw the lobster flag waving on this Lobsta Guy food truck, I thought it's the same one. Walking closer by I realized it's not, but I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately this one doesn't quite measure up. The meat is chopped up in small pieces but lacking in flavor and freshness, whatever flavor there was mostly came from the garlic and spices. Every other week, my job host a different food truck... this week it was The Lobsta Guy !! I was one of the 1st ones at the truck to place my order. So I went with the Lobstaliscious Garlic Roll for $15. Was happy that the food didnt take long as it was super hot outside. 1st impression - it looked amazing but was really small. Prices range from $14-16 per order. A bit on the higher end, but lobster is of course pricey. This is probably something I wouldn't order regularly bc $30 ( a sandwich per person) at a food truck where you (at least me) eat at several trucks can get expensive real quick. Food: - Garlic bread lobster roll: I really liked this roll. The addition of the garlic to the lobster was standout. -Chipotle losbter roll: A nice chipotle sauce is added on top of the roll. If you like sauces with sandwiches this one is a great option. For both of these options, the bread they use is excellent, very soft, doughey, and thick... and buttery! Generous portions of lobster, I felt that they did not skimp out by adding less expensive ingredients as fillers. Overall, super tasty lobster rolls, you must try them at least once. Tried The Lobsta Guy at Magic City Casino this past Saturday and in a word - AMAZING! Lobster was incredibly fresh and had great texture and taste. We had the original and were blown away at the fact that it came from a truck. LOL. The bread was soft and crunchy - perfectly toasted and extremely tasty. At $13 a sandwich it was definitely on the pricier side of the food trucks but it was worth it. I wish the sandwich had been a little bit bigger but was overall satisfied. read more

First of all i love Lobster, for a food truck the quality and freshness was pretty good. I was excited to see the Lobsta Guy's truck at Young Circle this Monday . I've been wanting to try out the lobster roll. First of all I'm not an expert but I love lobster rolls and I have tried over 40 different lobster rolls from over 40 different places and about 15 of them from the New Hampshire area. Second, I have no problem with the $14 price tag to have a good lobster roll. I've paid $25 for a lobster roll. Unfortunately, I was very unimpressed with the Original Lobster roll from the Lobsta Guy, I was so unimpressed that I didn't even want to finish it. Starting with the bread, 2 thick slices of potato bread dripping with butter. So much butter the thick slices of bread couldn't soak it all up. The lobster had that 1-2 day old seafood smell and was mostly claw meat with 2 or 3 scraps of tail meat and it had no flavor no seasoning or any binding to it except something that colored the lobster, the bread, and my fingers red. The meat was lifeless, the opposite of sweet and succulent, and dry . I'm sorry Lobsta Guy but I'm placing you on the bottom part of my list of 40. Perhaps I ordered the wrong roll, perhaps it was a bad batch. But I want the roll that everyone else got. I want the roll that has had me looking for your truck on the circle for the past few weeks just so I could try your roll. Please tell me I ordered wrong and this isn't it. read more

So my husband and I went to Oktoberfest merely to drop by when we got hungry after one beer. We were intrigued by the lobstah guy menu and decided to try the old bay fries which would take 5 minutes, we were served crispy light perfectly fried fries with perfect old bay and salt taste. We decided to skip our next plan and order another round of fries and the fiesta roll and garlic roll. My garlic roll was amazing, so buttery and garlic I was in heaven. The green sauce on my husbands was reminiscent of pio pio Peruvian green sauce with a cilantro base and was amazing. I had this in Brickell and it was amazing. It was hot and fresh. I drove all the way from Brickell to Young Circle in Hollywood and was super disappointed. The roll had no seasoning and it was cold. It also taste old like leftovers. I ordered two lobster rolls, the lemonade and coconut drink with a coke for $37. Way to expensive for it to be such a gamble. Very disappointed with what I had last night. Also I guess no line since anyone can just talk over you and make an order. They can come out of no where and place their order in the middle of you doing yours. Rude suspected white supremacist just cut me in line to make her order and the cashier guy went ahead and took it. The lemonade with coconut was also awful. After doing a walk through of the other food trucks at Hollywood Circle, I turned back and made my way to the Lobsta Guy truck. When I was in Maine, I had the most amazing lobster rolls that this truck brought me a little excitement and hope that maybe in Florida I would get the same lobster roll....that is about as far as that went though. I ordered the garlic lobster roll since I love garlic and this sounded different and tasty. The sandwich was $15...so expensive, but I figured it was lobster, so it would be worth the cost...I was wrong. The roll came out fast, which was a good thing, until I bit into the roll. First off, it was supposed to be on a garlic roll; might've well just been a plain slice of Texas toast and absolutely no garlic flavoring. The lobster was also flavorless and cold. Came here on the food truck day in Hollywood (Hollywood Circle on Mondays) and saw the Lobsta guy. With a hankering for some lobster I gave it a try. Well with a coconut lemonade and a lobster roll it came to $22 bucks! It's very expensive, but it is Lobster. However, I couldn't exactly taste the lobster through the Chipotle sauce and the bun so I was a tad disappointed. The lemonade was pretty great, and I'd say go for it. I have to start by saying I HATE lobster. At least I THOUGHT I did! One bite and I was transfixed by how amazingly delicious it CAN be. These guys not only changed my out look on the animal as a food, they are also were very knowledgeable on the animal's as a whole. They informed me on the different types of lobster, their eating habits, environment, and how it all effects flavor. They know everything there is to know about lobster.
