Everything about this place is *chef's kiss*! This is the second time we came to eat here and it did NOT disappoint. The staff are truly amazing people and the food is beyond delicious! Definitely recommend if you're looking for authentic Puerto Rican food!

I came back for a second time after my first experience was great. Unfortunately this time I had to take a star away. This time I called and order for pickup so I didn't have to wait, however when arriving I noticed that there is one line for everything, so I had to stand in the regular line (20 min) to pick up my food. So by then my food had been ready for a min and was a bit lukewarm. They need to work on pick up options or have a separate line for those coming to pick up. Other than that I order the mofongo with fried pork. The mofongo was good , but compared to last time the pork chunks didn't have any fat and was a bit dry. The octopus salad was supe flavorful and tender. The fried cheese w guava sauce was ok. And the Alcapurria was super thin with barely any meat in it. I do enjoy the food and i will be back , but I hope the pick situation changes.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Picadera to go, and was not disappointed. It comes with alcapurrias, fried pork, tostones, empanadillas, and sorrullitos - which are now my new favorite! Everything was fresh, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Located in the Pembroke Place Mall (right by the Chevron), they have a nice set up with tables/ chairs. The service was good, but they also had call ahead ordering, which makes the wait time much quicker. I will definitely be stopping by again.

Wow this food truck food is amazingly tasty! Nothing over seasoned at all. I definitely highly recommend to try their food. Tried it twice and not disappointed at all! Better to order in advance since the wait can be too long (45 minutes); especially if already hungry! You will devour their food with pleasure! Yummy! They have a few tables by the truck for the lucky ones who gets there before the crowd. Enjoy the WEPA!!! Flavors of Puerto Rico kitchen in South Florida!

Great pasteles! Fast pick up. I would recommend them. However, they need to be ordered early.

Everything we've had here has been great. Tried another local PR food truck. And it was not nearly as great as this place was.

Great place to have a delicious Puerto Rican meal…read more Service was fast and efficient, no wait time when I arrived. Monday evening, holiday. Food was delicious, from appetizer to main entree. Recommendations were made and I went with all of them. Pork belly chunks that were seasoned with salt and pepper, and lemon was added afterward for a little more punch in the flavor. Shrimp creole was delicious. The red beans and rice mix makes you want to keep having more and mixing it all together gives you a flavorful punch in your mouth. Mofongo, aka , masked green plantains are only for those looking for something a little dry with flavor. Mines had steak and it was drizzled with mojito sauce and oil. Our server was excellent and recommended flipping it over to have the juice flow into the mofongo which she went ahead and did.. steak was well done and when mixed in had a great combination of flavor.. Ambiance feels like a local P.R spot, flags, art, music, and very fun ambiance. Enjoyed it. Definitely when I'm in the area will come again..

The food was mixed . - Alcapurrias : 5 stars crunchy, juicy, proper size and flavor. - pork chunks mofongo: 4 stars, great flavor. Huge pork portion. - shrimp mofongo creole sauce: 3 stars sauce was on the saltier side and once it reached the bottom of the mongo it was "just too much" - churrasco (kids): 3 stars. A bit overcooked (kid refused to eat it) but it was decent flavor and tenderness. - beans: 3 stars, too salty - white rice : 1 star, felt dry and grainy like day old rice from the fridge.

Let me start my review by saying the food was really good and worthy of a 5 star rating on its own…read more BUT...my experience with this resturant is a classic example of how service can just take away from the food quality. My work colleagues and I were greeted by a friendly host and sat at a table. But everything from service went down hill from there when our actual table server arrived. We were immediately greeted with "You ready", with a frowned face. We asked for water with lemon (never received) and was later served water from a pitcher (without lemons) only later to see an adjacent table served water from a picture with lemon and orange slices. Didn't make much of that. But when our waiter returned to take our order the second time, again with the same "you ready" frown faced I asked for help with the menu. I could hear her sigh so loud I wanted not to believe the feeling that we were bothering her in some way; and there was maybe only a quarter of the tables with customers. After placing our orders I asked my colleagues if they were getting the same vibe as I was from her and they both felt the same way. From my seating angle I could see this young lady server when she approached the front bar/seating area of the restaurant; which appeared to be where the other waiters all gathered when waiting. But I noticed her smiling and engaging in friendly conversation with two customers sitting at the bar. I noticed this difference from how she treated us vs these other guest throughout the entire time. With them she was smiling, engaging and not in any flirtatious way, but seemingly just being nice....being a good waiter. Clearly she was choosing NOT to be nice to us, and this bothered me internally because I did not know why. Our friendly greeter from when we arrived was seen serving another table and whose behavior was consistently friendly with everyone. So why the difference with our waiter I kept asking myself. I still gave a generous tip despite this service. It was important to me to do so, but I probably won't be back here, and this would have been a nice place to go back to with mi amor.

As the place was empty and two women working were talking at the bar I walked in and went to sit. One of the women asked if I was with the group and then told me I needed to wait to be seated. It was awkward. It was a bit rude. Most times it's not what you say, but how you say it. Maybe it's just me, but the waitress immediately informed me that three items weren't available, including biscuits and cornbread of some sort. As a first-timer, it was weird. Fortunately, everything got better from there. My first meal, regardless of time, needs to be breakfast-y. As I perused the weekday brunch menu via QR code (what if you don't have a phone?) I ordered a coffee and water. The water came quickly, but the coffee took its time. I ordered the Wafflette (don't you want to try things you can't get other places?) It came as pictured and was good. The syrup was quite watery and left a lot to be desired, but I really didn't need it. The star of this dish is the bacon. I could have bathed in this bacon. It was thick and chewy, such a nice compliment. I don't know if there are bar stools available and whether they set up center aisle seating when it's more crowded, but the restaurant appeared clean and well-kept. There were no rounds available when I went, so I don't know how they accommodate groups of 10+, I sat along the banquette that could accommodate two. I am very interested in returning to try the ox tails, which are available in two (or was it three) dishes on the menu. I look forward to revising my review then.
