Finding The Local Esthetician was the best thing ever. You can tell Jayme does really care with helping our skin and puts the effort into it and won't give up. Anytime im having any troubles with my skin i could always text Jayme and she will text back with a list of things i can do. I was really looking forward to my facial and possibly having a new esthetician but after my experience I won't be going back. Jamie is really sweet but I don't think it was worth the money. I had a few blackheads around my lip and upper cheek and she didn't get them out she just swept around the sides of my nose with the extractor tool lightly. I felt that a lot of time was spent massaging my arms which I know comes with the service, but I've never had someone focus so much time on a massage during a facial. She used Victoria's Secret lotion and the scent didn't sit well with me at all I showered immediately after getting home. I feel like any other esthetician I've been to uses quality and unscented lotions. She asked if I was okay with essential oils at the start and I thought she was referring to having a diffuser, but every 5 minutes she would spray the essential oil on my face. I've never heard of any essential oils being okay for use on skin let alone your face (I know people still do it's just not recommended). She also touches her phone to take pictures of you during the service and goes back to working on your face without washing her hands. Edit: like you said, you're not for everyone, and I'm just looking for my skin to be taken care of. You didn't ask what type of skin I had, If I had problem areas or areas I wanted to focus on and that should have been my sign to leave. The scrub you used on my hands wasn't taken off all the way when you were finished, so I was left feeling like I was at the beach with sand between my fingers the entire hour. I doubt those extra 3 minutes would have helped my overall experience. read more

I cant believe I waited so long to start getting facials!! Jayme is so professional, kind, welcoming, and friendly! She's made each of my facials very relaxing and rejuvenating, and I'd walk out with my skin literally glowing after (which never happens on its own). I've also gone to her for lip fillers, and she walked me through the whole process as she did it to make sure I was comfortable and ready! Oh I just love Jamie. I started with a lash lift a while back and just started getting monthly facials the beginning of 2022. Let me tell you they are THE MOST relaxing thing I have ever had. The music and lighting is perfect, and Jamie is so kind to make sure you are 100% comfortable before, during & after service. She even gives little shoulder taps everytime before she touches your face so there isn't any unexpected feeling! I was never a firm believer in facials ( i'm sure they help but I mostly go for the true mind, body relaxation experience ) but let me tell you my at home routine has changed with Jamie and I haven't gotten a breakout in months. At 28 my skin started to go crazy, after having perfect skin my entire life. I went to a few people who kind of made it worse. I found Jayme on instagram and gave it a shot. My favorite thing about going to Jaimie is that she makes her treatments an entire experience. Im talking the moment you walk into the building and even days after when she takes the time to follow up/Check up on you. Her room is so cute, cozy, clean and relaxing. Asks for your preferences on different things. Making the entire experience all about you. Which to me is perfect being that I treat myself to facials as a form of self love/care. She herself, is super sweet, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable. Has no issue responding to questions that you may have before/after the treatment. Not only was she super nice & made sure i was comfortable throughout the entire process, but she was an excellent teacher to her student!
