Dr. Leah Taylor was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of my treatment plan. She used a combination of manual therapy, targeted exercises, and heat therapy, which significantly improved my mobility and reduced my pain. After just a few sessions, I noticed a dramatic improvement in my range of motion and a reduction in pain. Moreover she cares about patient's well being, and after each visit you get a summary of your treatment emailed, in addition to flexible timings to accommodate my busy schedule. I would high recommend AZ Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for all those in need of Physical Therapy and other related services.

Based on his excellent reviews, I saw Dr. Uddin. He had me get an X-ray and found that I had bone spurs. He prescribed physical therapy. I worked with Ari Goldstein, the physical therapist in Dr. Uddin's office. After several visits, the shoulder problem essentially cleared up. I would put my recovery at 99 percent; I occasionally feel an ache. I have since seen Ari for sciatic pain and balance therapy. He is excellent. The people in this office are warm and helpful. If you are in pain, Dr. Uddin might well be able to help you. I would certainly see him before opting for surgery.

On February 26, 2016, I purchased from D. I. Y. Nurocare of America, LLC their neurocare program…read morefrom an in-home sales representative for $3,995. I am writing this review to warn others considering this purchase of my unfortunate experience with D.I.Y. Being retired and on fixed income this was significant expenditure for me that would have to be justified. Before making the purchase, I checked with the Better Business Bureau. The reviews did show approximately 80% positive results. I felt this was nearly unbelievable for a medical procedure which is not covered by medical insurance. This should put up some red flags. My neuropathy had been going on for several years and I was ready for relief. The only way I could justify this expenditure was due to the 100% one year warranty that came with the purchase and the positive reviews. Without the warranty, I would certainly not have make the purchase. I felt I had a no-lose situation. I continued the therapy twice daily as specified for approximately seven months without any noticeable results. I decided that the D.I.Y. program was just not working for me and I needed a refund of my purchase under the warranty. On February 2, 2017, I called the D.I.Y. home office in Temp, AZ, and was directed to Ms. Tanya Matarano. I was put through to her voice mail and left a message to call me. On February, 8th after not receiving a call back, I again called Ms. Matarano. This time I did talk to Ms. Matarano and explained the reason for the call. We talked about my use of the therapy and she asked a few questions which led to her refusal to honor the warranty. First, she indicated that I did not participate in the eight weekly phone coaching calls made by June from D.I.Y. These calls essentially entailed June asking me how the program was going and if I had any questions. I did participate all of them either talking directly to June who called each week, or when I could not answer the phone, I returned all her calls only to be put through to the voice mail recording. I always left messages that I had no questions or issues as I continued the program. This back and forth telephone tag was very frustrating. With a couple weeks left in the eight weekly calls I left a message with June suggesting that, since I really don't have any questions or issues would it be ok if I just initiate the call when I had something to discuss. There was no response to my suggestion and since the calls stopped I assumed it was approved. On one of the calls when I did talk to June, I asked her "how long before I experience results". June indicated that the time varies and did not answer my question directly. Secondly, Ms. Matarano said that, since I did not do the therapy for a full year, this voided the warranty. I was very surprised by this comment. There was never a mention of this requirement and furthermore, nothing is written in the warranty or contract making this a requirement. Also, I am aware of another Tucson patient/customer of the D.I.Y. program who had the units picked up by Ms. Matarano after seven months use with the promise of a refund within 30 days. After four months, the patient still has not received the refund and is being given a runaround! Another reason Ms. Matarano gave for not honoring the warranty was that I did not participate in monthly calls. There were no calls from D.I.Y. Also, she said I did not call when I felt the program was not working where D.I.Y. could make "adjustments". Again, these requirements were never brought up to me either verbally or written in the warranty or contract. The warranty requirements are either very vague or non-existent. I hope that anyone who is considering purchase of the D.I.Y. program heed my warning that they will go to extremes including citing fictitious undocumented situations to try and void the warranty. I feel that I have no recourse other than to pursue this through the legal system. Thanks for reading.

My husband and I went to one of the advertised "dinners", as he suffers from Neuropathy. We watched…read morea 45 minute video by Dr. Joseph D*****, Chiropractor, giving information. What DIY means, we found out later is simply "do it yourself." There is no store front "company" called DIY. If one attends one of the dinners you will find: 1. That the people there want you sign up to have his "representative" come to your home, to assess, and judge the severity of the neuropathy. That person has no qualifications- he's just a "someone." The "tests" for Neuropathy he performs are a "joke"- no one could do these, neuropathy, or no neuropathy. 2. The goal of the dinners, and the home visit is for a person to buy what is called the "ProNeuro Light"; and a sheet called the "DIY NeuroCare Home Therapy system: involving "home coaching phone calls", and various spray vitamins, and a breakdown of the $4,000 cost. To further connect DIY with Dr. D*****, we were given a sheet with the DIY logo on one side and Dr.D******* picture on the other, with a description of his "designations" plus the book he wrote. We found items on that sheet that were not true, plus many references to his "office" in Casa Grande, with the ************ phone number. 3. The "ProNeuro Light" is the main sales point. In searching 2 logos on the box, with the implication that they "recommend the Light" and with reaching out to these 2 organizations, we have 2 emails from them that deny any recommendations of the ProNeuro Light. In searching further, I discovered the same "Light" with the same nm numbers on *******com for $199.00 plus 3 other web sites for the same price. The Light was represented to us as "healing" Neuropathy- it d**s not and cannot- the other web sites only say it is for relief of pain. 3. The dinners being advertised presently as I write this, are now "talks" it would seem-no videos-= and in calling the numbers I discovered two of them were by Dr. J**(as he's called, and the first person did not want to give me his last name, but the 2nd one did). I was also told that he is a "Neurologist". In the present ad, he says that he treats "carpal tunnel"- what the connections of that to Neuropathy is more than I can understand, as I recently had hand surgery myself. 4. As indicated to us by the State Board of Chiropracters in Phx., AZ, Dr. D******* license has been inactive since Dec, of 2015, and we told that takes away his right to offer any medical advice, do any "manipulating", etc- check with the State Board for further information at ************. 5. Presently, there is a complaint with the State Board, a reply from Dr. D*****, a reply from the Complainant; and then there will be a hearing. 6. Through much research, and many hours, we were finally able to show my Husband's credit card people, the above, and much more questionable, at best, the procedures of DIY. His credit card read "DIY of Sun City, AZ"- as if there was truly a "company" located in Sun City, AZ, which there is not, and finally the $4,000 charge was removed, though it is claimed it was removed under the worthless "money back guarantee" by which one has a year to "prove that the Neuropathy did not improve." 7. As may be seen on DIY on this web site, the email is ***********************; and the address in Casa Grande is all over our printed material. However, according to Phx., MLS, that property is for sale. The address given on Osborn Road, is a huge apartment dwelling called *** **** *****- we saw the title and checked out the web site. There is also an address in Maricopa, AZ, from which our request for a copy of my husband's medical records was returned as well as the Osborn Rd address. According to the State, any doctor with a written request for records has 10 days to respond; and as of this date 13 business days have elapsed. 8. I saw the same fliers on the internet in Tucson, Prescott, Austin, TX, and recently in Utah. Do the math- if 10 people at a "dinner" buy into this for the $5,000 we paid- look at the money being "raked in" by someone who has a inactive license.
