Very busy place, so service was a bit slow. This establishment serves alcohol & food. The bar was a tad under stocked. My wife enjoys a couple of lime slices in her cocktail (vodka & tonic). They had no limes, but yet a full bar? I enjoy Southern Comfort manhattans, on the rocks. Our barkeep was unfamiliar with the cocktails ingredients. I told him it included vermouth, he informed me they had no vermouth. I ended up enjoying a Comfort & Coke! After our drinks were secured we started on the front patio, but soon retreated to the rear patio as several of the front patio tables were broken, and were unsafe. We also ordered food and it took quite awhile ( 1 hour+), for 2 tuna fish sandwiches and fries/chips. Again, we believe there was only one cook on duty and the place was busy. We enjoyed the rest of our evening here, particularly after the band began playing around 8:00 PM. All in all, a fun night with family in this GREAT resort town!

The prices are significantly lower than the surrounding businesses; they take pride in not price-gouging. The onion rings were legitimately delicious. They have many vegetarian and vegan options for fried veggies of all sorts and grilled cheese and veggie wraps. What made our experience phenomenal was the service. The bar manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. I asked her for area recommendations and she went so far as to pull out a magazine and circle her recommendations (including notes like "great pizza" and "go here then stop over there"). Some of the items might not be available, but that is clearly stated on the menu. When we asked for Irish stew, they were out of it. To be fair, this is kind of common these days. Murphy's Pub is up there with other Cleveland area Irish restaurants like the Harp or PJ McIntyre's and is worth the drive out to GotL! Our server was excellent, our food was also excellent. The music and ambiance definitely have an Irish vibe. It has outdoor seating as well as indoor. Family friendly. Easy walk for anyone on the main strip in GotL. I have to give a special recommendation for the pork wings, which are a unique appetizer. The "Murphy Sauce" is a unique secret which you have to taste to believe.
