Was looking for a new salon since I moved and wanted something close by. Was hoping this place would be my new home, but I was disappointed! I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment and had to wait 25-30 minutes to start on my hair. I tried to start conversation with my hair lady, but she kind of shut me down and only wanted to focus on my hair so it was complete silence for pretty much the rest of the appointment. She was firm with the hairbrush, really going at it and catching my ears. She was kind of clumsy with her tools, dropping 3 different things on the floor during my appointment. My hair stylist, and the other two ladies all said something about my hair as they passed by saying, I had a lot of hair. They did this more throughout the appointment. ( my hair goes just past my collar bone and is naturally straight ). I did not go on my phone during the appointment, only when I was sitting alone and one of the ladies yelled at me across the room to look up. When my hair was getting washed, I was SUPER uncomfortable but tried to deal with it so I wouldn't annoy my stylist anymore than I felt like I already was. When my hair was completely wet, my stylist tugged at my hair from root to tips leaving the knots at the ends of my hair. She really pulled at my hair and I was in pain. They cut your hair when it is dry, not wet. I did like how my hair turned out and it looked really nice! When I came to pay, they charged me 2x the amount it said on their website plus I left a 20% tip ( because I did like how my hair turned out ). And now I have a bruise on the back of my head from when they washed my hair, I had my boyfriend look at it because it felt sore and he said it was black and blue. I'm in college, and I feel like a lot of their clients are 40+. I feel like I was treated like a kid and like "I didn't belong there" so they didn't waste their time making a good impression on me. I will not go back, I wish the customer service was better because I would of paid the double amount happily, but I don't feel like it is worth it to be treated that way. read more

This was the worst most traumatic Hair experience I've ever had. I went here to get my hair extensions moved up. I originally had them put in by a different salon, but this was a lot closer. I went in a few weeks prior. They looked at my hair, said they were able to it and I booked an appointment. They were wrong. Didn't specialize in the type of extensions I have. She still attempted to move them up. Ended up tieing both rows together. She also was supposed to touch up the few highlights I had and turned my hair completely orange. I went back the following day to have it all fixed. She ended up just covering the highlights with brown, then a few days later those pieces broke off from being over processed. The extensions were still put in wrong. They were pulling so bad that one of the beads along with a chunk of hair (my real hair) fell out. I obviously wasn't going back to have them mess it up more and made an appointment with my original salon. She took pictures of my scalp because not only did I have chunks of hair missing but my scalp was all red and irritated. This has been an absolute nightmare and the salon refuses to give me my money back. If I could leave 0 stars o would. read more

I decided to lighten up for summer after dying my hair dark or dark red for 10 years. Once again Taylor killed it. She did a blonde, balyage style, thin highlight throughout my hair and added layers and gave me a trim. She worked her magic on me and somehow made me have blonde in my hair again, and it's stunning! Karen listened to what I wanted- as I am not usually very adventurous with my hair- and recommended a color/style by how noticeable the change would be. Karen colors and cuts my hair and she always manages to keep things creative and different. It's curly and gets frizzy buts since the haircut, the curls hold better and my hair looks healthy. The color of the highlights complements my natural color so well. It was exactly what I asked for and I wasn't even that specific. She just knew what would work for my hair. I get a lot of compliments on my hair now. I love this place. It is always clean and professional. I go to Nick for my haircuts but I know the other staff are just as good. Nick is wonderful. I have a sensitive head and I never notice his fingers as he washes or cuts. He gives me an easy to take care of professional cut. He is a very nice guy.
