Listed as a gated community but the gated have maybe worked a total of ten days in two years and that not consecutive. 2. Maintaince issues- I've had a mouse issue for over a month they marked it complete even after never visiting the apartment and had to handle on my own. I'm on the second floor so probably multiple units. Broken sink took over a month to fix. When I called after two weeks the leasing agent Raine told me I could do it myself. It took another two weeks. 3. Pool has been down both summers this year was for 45 days at the start of summer. Last year it would get green and they'd shut it down for safety issues. The neighbors are great and fun monthly activities. Maya is the only reason people stay, she is literally the sweetest person, listens and tries. Any of the other 29 agents they have cycled through aren't personable and don't seem to care. Would love to stay another year but this place is falling apart and over priced. Update: After 47 days with leasing continuing to never have pest show up and me finally laying traps. The mouse was caught. On Nov 7th pest control stopped by confirmed the infestation over a month from my initial maintenance request and needed to get their supervise. I have yet to tell the mark the mouse was caught 12 days later and still haven't heard anything.

Bathroom had MAJOR infestation of ants and then drain flies... it was so gross!! They nickel and dime you with all kinds of admin/processing fees! They outsource everything, so you are dealing with all different outside companies who charge you fees and more fees!! They ripped me off several hundred dollars, charging me $35 a month because my renters insurance had their street address and not a PO box, even though The Mark was listed as a party of interest and nothing in my lease said I had to list the PO Box!! Owners are out of state, so they don't care about you... all they care about getting your money, too!! Loud cars and motorcycles rev their engines all the time. I lived there four years, and the first year was great; then, downhill it went!! Beware and don't be fooled!!

The staff is kind and truly quick to help, you can tell this place is run by people who take pride in their work. All of my neighbors seemed kind and respectful as well! The apartments themselves are also gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. As someone who has a very high standard for clean and safe living spaces, North Grove was the perfect home for the time I was able to live there. I only recently moved because of life circumstances that took me out of state. If I ever move back to the area, I'll be renting here again in a heartbeat! It is also worth noting that this property is surrounded by a new neighborhood full small parks and gorgeous new homes that felt quite inviting and safe for families. Having space to take morning runs and evening walks through was 100% a highlight of this location. Not to mention, there's a brand new Tom Thumb in walking distance if you're the kind of person up for a quick mile walk to pick up drinks or snacks in the evening. After multiple bad apartment experiences in expensive Dallas neighborhoods, I moved all the way to Waxahachie to live here, and I would do it again!

We transferred from a 1 bed to a 2 bed (the one bed was in phase 2 and there were ZERO issues....but phase 1? Holy hell. On move in day they gave us the keys and the apartment had never been cleaned. There were some half empty soda cans, nails on the floor, a piece of the fridge missing, a shelf missing. And we ended up having to pay our movers for 2 extra hours and started cleaning it ourselves bc they were working on finding someone to clean. This was unacceptable and their answer to some sort of compensation was a $65 credit. We dealt with roaches for at least 6 months and they were spraying but not enough- we had to go out on our own and pay for someone to come - it took the ppl who lived there before who moved below us moving out in order for them to go away. We were poolside and they wld leave pool music on 24/7 so you cld always hear it in our place- 2am-6am pool music. When I complained they turned it down a little but I cld still hear it. They suddenly started charging us toward the end of our lease a $35 fee monthly for breaking a lease requirement- no one ever reached out to us to explain the issue. I called and emailed several times - someone finally told Me it was bc we didn't have renters insurance- but we did the entire time. When we showed proof that we had it they refused to reimburse us the $170 bc the policy didn't say it was for Mark on Conquest. We loved our apartment but it was bc of how we made it our home. Oh I want to add the maintenance guys have always been amazing even though they changed frequently they have always been so helpful and friendly.

You're still close enough to town too that nothing is too far. Landscaping is always well kept. It's just a very nice place to be and great place to be if you have a pet. Even though I don't have a pet, I love seeing all of my neighbors taking their dogs to the dog parks. I think it's a great place to live for pet owners because there is just so much space for your pet if you have one. And pretty much everyone picks up after their pets which is greatly appreciated. It keeps the property looking nice. When moving here, one thing that I'd ask questions about is guest parking. Just to see if you're okay with the way it works and parking availability for your guests. At some apartments you're able to have your guests register their vehicles online, but here you have to go into the office or get in touch with them somehow in order to get a tag for your guests to hang in their car. If you don't they have to park at the office which is very limited when it comes to parking spaces. Not a deal breaker to me though! I have only experienced one issue and it mainly has to do with maintenance. I have had an issue for 2 months now and have only had one person come to check it out and have not heard anything as far as updates on it since. I have even reached out to maintenance 4 times and the office 1 time with no responses which is pretty upsetting considering what it is that I need to be fixed. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Overall though, I highly recommend the Mark on Conquest!

Everything stated in my review is based on my personal experience throughout the application process and is presented as my account of what occurred. I stand by the facts and my opinions regarding the customer service I received. I submitted an application and was told I would have an answer by Friday. When I attempted to call for an update, my calls went to voicemail, and my emails were not answered. I had to repeatedly come to the property in person simply to receive information regarding an application I had paid for. On Saturday, I was told that my application had been completed and was only waiting for approval and that I would receive a call Monday.After I had to visit the property to get an update. Monday came, and I received no call. I emailed again and received no response, which resulted in me returning to the property once again. When I returned, I was given information that contradicted what I had previously been told and was informed that the process could take up to two weeks. My concern was not simply that the application was taking time. My concern was the repeated lack of communication and the conflicting information I received. I also want to address the claim that my statement is false. If there is footage that supposedly proves my account is inaccurate, I am requesting that the complete, unedited footage relevant to the interaction be provided to me, rather than an incomplete portion or footage presented without the surrounding context. I would also like the full context of the interaction concerning the papers containing my personal information. I did not intend to create a threatening situation, and I strongly disagree with any characterization suggesting that I was behaving as though I intended to lunge across the desk. My concern was obtaining information and addressing what I believed was poor communication regarding my application. Most importantly, I was extremely disappointed by how I was treated. Rather than my concerns being addressed professionally, I felt dismissed and unfairly characterized, including being referred to as an "angry Black woman." I found that characterization deeply inappropriate and unrelated to the legitimate concerns I was attempting to address. I was ultimately asked to withdraw my application and have my money refunded. When I asked for the owner's information, I was told it could not be provided. I was then asked to leave before I had received my refund, and the police were called. I am not claiming that everyone will have the same experience I did. I am sharing my experience. I believe businesses should be willing to acknowledge shortcomings when communication and customer service fall below reasonable expectations. Having an application for four days without receiving promised updates, having calls go unanswered, having emails ignored, and having to repeatedly travel to the property to obtain basic information is not the level of communication anyone expects from a business. To me, basic communication is simply common courtesy. My review was not intended to misrepresent the property. It was intended to honestly describe my experience. If the property believes otherwise, I welcome the opportunity to review the complete context and footage of the interactions rather than having my experience dismissed as false. I stand by my review and my right to share my experience as a customer
