She was on time and she greeted me with a gift package containing little beauty essentials to keep my makeup flawless throughout the day. She did an excellent job with blending the pigments to match my skin tone! Which is something tough with even the most skilled makeup artist! Before my big day, Monca J held a consultation with me where we reviewed pictures of brides whose makeup I loved. After reviewing the pictures, she did my makeup as if it was my wedding day (including lashes!!!). She wrote down a list of the makeup she used and took pictures so she could repeat my look on my wedding day. I was very impressed! On the day of my wedding, Monca J arrived at the venue before I did and her makeup station was completely set up. She also knew I loved gospel music, so she brought her iPod and played gospel while she did my makeup to relax me. Monca J was very professional and even my hair stylist was impressed with her work. After my makeup was complete, she gave me a little gift bag with lipstick, tissue, and a press pad just in case I needed a little touch up. I also asked her if she wouldn't mind staying with me until the reception started, because I'm a cry baby and I knew I may mess up my makeup lol. She agreed and I'm so happy she did. Setting up an appointment with Monca was VERY easy. She responded right away and only required half of the total as a down payment to book the appointment. She was in constant communication with from the time I requested the appointment to let me know what to expect and up to the appointment with reminders. She was the nicest person to work with!!! I really didn't have an idea of what I wanted for my makeup so I just let her do her thing. I took pictures of my outfit and explained the type of party I was attending and she took it away from there. She did a fabulous job and I received a million comments on my makeup that day and the next day from my Facebook pictures. Now she's told me that I already had 2 appts with her and if I want a touchup it's $350. she's insane. so I go to see if anyone else will complete this job bc my eyebrows are all dark and patchy and nope. that's the real issue. she screwed up and did them so dark that NOONE will redo these. I will need to do laser removal if I ever want normal looking brows. and she keeps lying and said I came for 2 sessions!! I'm already not an attractive female but Mindy made me look insane!! This looks anything but natural and it's very embarrassing and she's such a liar!!
