Accordingly, they are professional -- which includes being kind and respectful to the customer. However, there's another young black woman (on the heavier side) with the nastiest attitude. Some advice for her: when you tell the customer that you're not going to give them their Rx for whatever reason, they're going to be frustrated. Compounding their frustration? Your attitude. When your colleagues communicate a delay or issue, it never bourgeons into conflict -- can you guess why? Because they are professionals, and they act like it. This means being kind and respectful even in -- especially in -- the face of a frustrated customer. One more tip: When a customer shows up, greet them? I assume a smile is asking way too much, but certainly don't sit there scowling (in silence, no less!). Like the customer is a nuisance and a bother, showing up and expecting you to do your job. The audacity. Acknowledge the customer and let them know you're ready to assist them. If this is too much for you, get another job. Sincerely. You are unfit for a customer-facing role.

I called back to check the status and they blamed the other pharmacy. I called the other pharmacy who advised that walgreens had just now sent it over and they had just spoke on the phone with them. I called walgreens who assured my son, who tried to get it for me, that they would text me the second it was ready. I casually mentioned I was just 10 minutes from the store. This was around 2:00. They put it off until I got the text at 5:43pm. I got in the car, was held up 2 minutes at the light, but I made it! I sat behind a car for 3 minutes. As they drove off I pulled up and they shut the shade! I look at my phone and it was 5:59. I pushed the call button. I honked my horn for that entire minute. I yelled that I need that medication and that was the point of transferring it and begged them to please give it to me... and my caregiver went to the door to tell them they shut the shade on me and I was in line on time. Now I remember why they haven't been my main pharmacy since 2022!!! Thats okay. I am grateful for the reminder, because I was about to transfer all my medications, about 12 very pricey ones, back to my local Walgreens. They saved me alot of hassle. I had corporate on the phone before he got back to the car. I will never darken their drive thru again. I told Corporate everything they did and did not do as well as told them that I will never have them so much as give me a flu shot ever again. They caused me prolonged suffering and if my health gets worse, I will be sure to call a lawyer about it. If they had told me they had no intention of filling that prescription, one little prepackaged pill that took until 15 minutes before closing to fill, I would have transferred it to Walmart instead! This is what they did instead. That one pill cost them a small fortune they could have made off my full list of meds every month. I hope they get fired for their actions because they shouldn't treat people like that, and that is how they treated me a few years back. It was always a hassle, and I think they were double billing back then, too, saying something cost 120.00 that was less than 10.00 on my insurance, yet said they saved me with a good rx card. and I was bedbound after surgery back then so I couldn't argue. Thats why I left. The new pharmacy billed it right the first time. Thanks for shaking my memory bank! I nearly forgot what money and suffering they caused me! Closer to home is not more convenient!! This Walgreens is the one I go to the most due to location and convenience. For cheaper, drug store quality makeup, I've stopped by Walgreens. For last minute greeting cards or household necessities, Walgreens is just a stop away. I used to get my prescriptions at Walgreens but because I have Kaiser insurance now and love them so much, they have their own pharmacy. The main reason why I still come to Walgreens is for the photo cards during the holidays. I love that I am able to pick up the finished products in an hour! I've also gotten Instagram frames and photo books printed too. However, the past few times coming, they weren't able to process my special request and had to send to another Walgreens location. Now, I understand if you're not able to do it, thank you for letting me know so I could get another location to do it. Not today. What bothered me is I did NOT get any phone call letting me know. It was 2 hours passed the time for scheduled pickup. There were no customers but at least six workers worrying about Christmas inventory. Mind you, it's close to lunch time now. I submitted my photo order the night prior. Estimated to pick up was 9:25 am. It is now 11:30 AM. Again, common courtesy to call someone if they are expecting their order. You know what bothered me the most? The worker telling me that she worked till 11 pm last night and had to wake up early. I never questioned her work ethics. Just asked how come I didn't get a phone call and if my order would be completed today and she couldn't answer me. I just didn't like her tone with me and I said thank you to her and walked off. I usually get my photos developed here and they turn out pretty good most of the time. I also come here to rent movies from the Redbox kiosk located inside of the store. They also have a Pharmacy and the Pharmacists that I've talked to are very helpful in explaining medication and what not. My only complaint about this location is that sometimes there are pan-handlers wandering around outside asking for change. Nothing against them because I've donated plenty of times, but when it gets to the point where I know each of their faces then that's a problem. Not a bad Walgreen. I really hate to give this rating but it's warranted…read more They were busy when I arrived at 2pm on a Saturday but were able to take me as a walk in for a pedicure. I asked for the volcano pedicure (most expensive) which was $65 and included leg scrub, paraffin, hot stones, and massage. My nail tech was very kind and definitely gave me a full hour pedi as is promised on the menu. Their massage chairs are great! Really loved that and the volcano soak (I got green tea but there are other scents). The biggest reason I have to give for the low star rating is the cleanliness of the tools. At no point did I see anything come out of a new/steril/sanitized bag. The foot bath WAS lined with plastic, but that was it. The buffers/files were definitely used on previous clients, and the cuticle clippers, cuticle pusher, nail clippers were just presented on a towel, with no indication they'd been autoclaved/cleaned. The foam foot block my leg was balanced on, was not protected by a towel or plastic. All of that is a huge mark against the salon. If they DO sterilize the tools, they should show them coming out of the bags for the client. My other problem with the salon is they REALLY pushed the gel on me. I told them from the start I didn't want gel, and then halfway through my tech was like "oh you wore closed toed shoes, your nails are going to take forever to dry. They're going to smudge when you put your socks on. Seriously you'll be here forever waiting for your toes to dry!!!" And finally I was just like, okay fine, do the gel. I figured there would be an up charge but $15 extra for gel on top of the already expensive package, oof! Just seems like a lot. I get it, and I DID agree to the gel, but I do wish she'd told me exactly how much it was going to be before she did it. All that being said, my feet are very soft, the polish does look nice and it was a good treatment. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be back just because the cleanliness issue skeeves me out thinking back on it.
