Who deserves 10 stars? The Loupe Lounge does! Here is the story. If you have a long layover you can stay at the airport or you can be a rebel and venture into the city. I am a rebel with a food cause and opted to dine at The Loupe Lounge on my layover. Well, that was the master plan but coming from Maui, there were delays and my little mission was diverted. Abort? Absolutely NOT! Being a SUPER optimistic about everything in life, I rushed to make a 5:30 p.m. reservation at 7:00 p.m. I know, it was pushing it but for $150 a person I did not want this opportunity to go to waste. We arrived at The Space Needle and were whisked up to The Loupe Lounge. The host was not sure if they could still serve us so she rushed to get the manager. She must have gone back to NYC Fashion Week because here comes the manager looking like a whole GQ model, super trendy manager in the house! Well, he accommodated us, very cool of him. You're an Angel cause we were starving! The food was packaged to go, it was so delicious I'm super bummed that we didn't get to experience this in person. It was pretty in a box can't imagine what it would have been like in person! Beggars can't be choosers! The meal was fantastic! Caviar was packaged with ice! How accommodating and it passed TSA. Drinks were amazing and Andrea was the BEST waitress! Lucky we had her! Overall, if I'm back in Seattle this is back on my to-do list! Very cool experience and worth every penny! It is tough to get reservations here and probably does not need another review, but here we go. If the food and drinks were horrible, it would still be worth having a meal here. You can certainly visit the Space Needle Observation deck, but nothing like sitting down and revolving around the city particularly around sundown. They were smart here with menu because they have limited options with food and put a lot of thought and creativity into the drinks. When you arrive, be aware there is a separate line that gets you to move up in elevator line. You order your food in advance. We had the Tower Weekend Menu and chose the Butcher's Tower and Elevated at Sea (then there is a dessert course). The Butcher's Tower is decadent and delicious. This include Beef Croquettes that were very good, Wagyu steak that was excellent, some pork belly that was rich and tasty and some other items. The two towers are definitely plenty for two people. With the food you get to choose three cocktails, one for each course. I had Swine at Sea (with Rye), Rocket Man (with rum) and Solar Winds (vodka). All the drinks were well-balanced and excellent, really a highlight. We did not like Elevated at Sea as much, but still really nice. This included sushi (which was fine), calamari tempura (a little greasy, but tasty, black cod (excellent), smoked salmon (again fine), and crab cake (very good). We ordered the oceanic and the butcher as we wanted a combination of dishes from both categories. If I could give the Loupe Lounge 10 out of 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. Jonny and Micheal, you both made my spouse's birthday absolutely divine, thank you for your dedicated and personalized professional service. So where to start! The reservation only dining experience at the Loupe Lounge can be placed online and in advanced. Admission to the space needle is required, so when all is said and done, this isn't a cheap dinner date by far - but how often do you get the chance to sample a tasting style menu atop one of America's architectural icons? Upon arriving we were guided to the elevators, little to no wait was needed, but caution, you will need to share the elevator with GA ticket holders, the space may be squeeze for a moment or two. The lounge itself is a partitioned off space with a half wall and the level itself is open to the public. There was some crowd noise but it was never off-putting during the experience for us, just don't expect quiet and quaint at this location. The prix fixe meal come with 3 cocktails each. Each is exciting and over the top, the waitstaff/manager were super helpful describing the flavor profiles of each. I think our favorite by the end of the service was the sea-espresso. Now onto the food! We chose the elevated and sea and butcher's tower menus. For the sea menu, the oysters were not available at the time of service due to health/safety concerns. A substitute of tempura fried calamari was served instead and it was simply divine - I didn't miss the oysters. From the sea tower I believe my favorite selection was the crab cake. Generous lumps of crab paired well with sweet apple gel and pops of truffle. I'll be dreaming of them for some time. While the elevated at sea tower was impressive, the butcher's tower excelled. My spouse inhaled each course and I'm happy to say I got to at least sample the Wagyu, BLT, croquettes and pork belly. The star of this tower for me was surprisingly the BLT. These sandwich squares were elevated by marinated and juicy tomato slices, paired with bacon smoked with a nutty aroma. The portion sizes are generous enough to leave you very full - during our service we were served a truffle assortment for desert and the staff graciously provided us with to-go boxes so we could enjoy them later. I get motion sickness and thought since it rotates slowly, I'd be okay but warning...I did get a bit queasy at one point. Nothing some water and a trip to the restroom didn't fix. It was also nice to get dressed up for dinner. You arrive and we paid for valet. There is a special line you get in to go upstairs. You have time to spend on the observation deck prior to dinner. When sat, you are fully attended to. Drinks and the view were superb. Then the courses. Such great displays and tasty! You can choose between 3 options I believe. We got the seafood one. Online rez was simple and quick and you prepay for the experience in advanced which comes with the meal and observation deck walk around. Definitely worth it for the food alone. My best friend and I came here for dinner and it exceeded our expectations. The instructions on what to do when we first arrived were clear. The only downside I would have to say from the experience was when we walked in and the host was taking us to our table, a bartender thought we were trespassing and tried to stop us until he saw the host with us. That made us feel like he stereotyped us. The rest of the staff treated us with respect and made the experience much more enjoyable, especially our waiter. She was fantastic. We tried The Oceanic and The Space Gardner menu and it was very tasty. My favorite was The Oceanic that brought the caviar tasting and dugenes crab roll. To drink, I tried the Tip Top Yuzu Drop and Appletini and they were both delicious. I did enjoy the Tip Too Yuzu Drop more and the glass it comes in reminded me of an Octopus. I absolutely loved how we were able to enjoy the view for as long as we wanted to, as we did not feel rushed. We also got a bit of a show how some of the drink, food and dessert came out. The views you get of the city here is spectacular. I also loved how everything is paid for before arriving so you're thoroughly focusing on enjoying the experience from the moment you arrive. We were recommended by a friend to go to The Loupe Lounge for special occasions and boy, it did not disappoint! My fiancé and I celebrated his birthday by eating dinner in front of the revolving windows of the restaurant. I made pre-paid reservations about a month before on Tock, specifying in the comments that we were celebrating his birthday. We were able to head up to the observation deck as VIPs earlier than our reservation time to catch the 5:02 pm sunset, which I highly recommend if you anticipate a clear, sunny day like the day we went. Afterwards, we were able to make our way downstairs to be seated. Our pre-chosen meals were 'Butcher's Tower' for him and 'Elevated at Sea' for me, which were multi-course menus which all tasted delicious and consisted of ingredients that we have never, and rarely, ever eat. Unfortunately, the oysters that were supposed to be on the menu were not shipped to the restaurant in time so the chef substituted the oysters for calamari, which had the most airy, light breading we have ever tasted - my fiancé said this calamari was one of the best he's ever had. We absolutely did not mind the substitution! The meat, including the Wagyu, imported straight from Japan was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The cocktails pairings we got to choose were very thoughtful, and purposefully designed well as a local homage to Seattle. The drinks not only tasted well balanced, but smelled delicious. During the dessert course, The Loupe Lounge put some mini birthday decorations on top just to make the experience feel a bit more personalized for my fiancé. Our waitress, Cara, was excellent. She was very prompt, and really knowledge about their drink offerings and even gave my fiancé a little trivia question regarding the apples the restaurant uses for their cocktails. We never asked Cara for anything because she was quick to remove plates and cups appropriately, refilled our water cups, etc. Aside from Cara, the elevator operator Gus, was really funny and gave us tips regarding where to stand in the elevator when the waves of other people came into the elevator to get up to and down from the observation deck. The dinner experience was very expensive yet fun, exciting, and delicious! We recommended this dining experience to our family and friends. Between the third party service used to make the reservation and the social on IG I couldn't figure out how to contact anyone. I highly recommend coming to the Loupe Lounge if you are in Seattle. We booked the 'Captains Table Weekday' and upgraded to the 'Champagne Mimosa' experience. And it was sooo worth it. We made reservations at 6:30 pm and were able to view Seattle during the daylight, sunset and night time. The views and overall experience were worth the price of $110 a person. Our experience included the Space Needle admission, valet parking, priority lounge seating, 4 alcoholic drinks each, and an array of foods and dessert. Eating here also gives you free admission to the rest of the Space Needle, which usually costs around $35 on its own. Food was amazing. Wagyu Beef Sliders were tasty even when I left them for last so they were a little cold. The bread chips and spreads and toppings were so, so yummy to munch on while enjoying the view. Also, they have some of the best garlic fries I've ever had in my life. They often came around to make sure we were doing well, refilled waters and our wine glasses, and gave us more bread chips. They also gave us cute birthday-decorated macaroons after they found it was my friend's birthday! One word, "Experience!" This was my first time since the remodel and we both loved the whole experience from the moment we walked in. You walk in and get to skip the long line to go up to the restaurant. (The VIP service is so my speed!) You sit down and since reservations are pre-order/pre-paid everything went smoothly. All you have to worry about is what drinks you would like. With the tower one; you get 3 drinks per person. We ordered the dinner selection with the steak tower and the seafood tower. We both aren't big beef uncooked type of people so we didn't eat much of that tower but it looked good. The seafood tower was so yummy! The drinks we're okay, not the best but they looked pretty so I was here for it! The presentation for everything they bring out was so cool. Our server was very knowledgeable of all items we had. The dessert wasn't to heavy either. No matter where you sit, you have a great view. It it kind of noisy due to people outside of the restaurant walking right next to you. It isn't a place you go back to just to go back to though. It's more of once or a special occasion type of place to go too. You get access to go up to the site seeing part of the space needle and do not have to wait in the long line. Great place to go if you are site seeing in Seattle. A unique experience for a special occasion at the Space Needle! We arrived and checked in at the kiosk in the gift shop. The staff were friendly and we were escorted to a VIP line for the elevator to the lounge. The Lounge is modern and has a glass floor that rotates every 39 minutes for some of the best views in Seattle. The staff are friendly and the area was clean. We opted for the weekend Captains table with a 90 minute dining time. As far as the food goes, it was very filling. The meats and cheeses were delicious with locally made selections. The wagyu burgers were good but messy. The dessert was amazing and comes out with a unique presentation. As far as the sparkling rose, it was delicious and paired well with everything. This place would have 5 stars but isn't because of the seating. The chairs are like sitting on the floor and are not comfortable. Also, the tables did not allow for your feet to be under them and the whole time was cramped and uncomfortable. Whoever thought this was a good idea to have tables and chairs like this obviously didn't sit there. For those of us who had CityPasses, we are not able to enter our CityPass order # or use Space Needle tickets that were already purchased. I am visiting from Illinois and purchased tickets to the Space needle. -lounge bathroom is not handicap accessible. Someone in my party has a disability and needed to use the elevator, but the elevator does not go to the level of the bathrooms! One has to go up one level or down one level via windy stairs to reach the bathrooms. This is incredible for a highly rated, upscale lounge. -no flexibility to allow Lounge guests admittance even 25 minutes prior to reservation to see the sunset. Hosts do not have to seat Loupe guests until their reservation time, but at least let us go up to the top (I could not move up the reservation as the lounge was fully booked). I only had 3 days to visit. Loupe staff named Isaac Miller came up with the solution to invite my family & me back the following night to see the sunset. Someone give this man a promotion- he significantly improved this experience, and I was no longer fuming by the time we sat for this reservation. read more

I took my sister to the Loupe Lounge recently to celebrate a milestone birthday. We had a fantastic experience! The service was Great, the food was excellent, we had a wide range of cocktails, all very tasty. We also both really enjoyed being seated in the revolving part of the lounge. We're both Seattle natives and really enjoyed the moving panorama of this beautiful city in its springtime glory. Highly recommend! read more

Visited here in 12/2021 and it was a very memorable experience! I got the nitrogen theory package and my boyfriend got the whiskey package and all the drinks and food were great! I enjoyed the last drink because it was also a dessert which was fantastic! I liked the experience because the floor was moving and we were revolving around to see all the angle of Seattle. Amazing experience! I went in January 2022, and was extremely impressed. The Taste of Washington was a must do, and a highlight of our trip. It was so cool to eat and lounge while we were getting a 360 view of Seattle. So lovely. The charcetuerie board was amazing - had some of the best cheese and olives in my life! Overall a great experience. The staff was outstanding and super friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful. It was easy to get in and we got the VIP treatment. Really is a "must" if you want to experience Seattle. The only negative I can say is that for a hundred dollars I feel that giving us a slider instead of a real hamburger (which it said on the website) was a really cheap move. read more

Wow! What an experience! Not inexpensive, but worth every cent. Two hours of astonishing cocktail mixology, and an amazing view as you sit on a glass floor and revolve your way around Seattle for two hours. Includes VIP access to the Space Needle and valet parking right in front. Three of us visited, so we were able to try all three experiences, from a beautiful Rose Champagne (poured endlessly), a sublime whiskey tasting, and the best cocktail mixology we've ever experienced (and with us coming from Chicago, a real cocktail town, that's saying something). Often the use of liquid nitrogen is more for show than purpose, but here it was put to wonderful use, creating ice cold cocktails, rich slushies, and, yes, a spectacular show. The food was also very good, with top notch ingredients including Wagu beef, truffles, caviar, and raw oysters. Despite all of that wow factor, it was the service that made it particularly special. Our servers were incredibly friendly, talented, gracious, and informative, and we truly felt welcome to this special experience. I could happily go here very day of our stay in Seattle. Truly memorable for even this jaded foodie! read more
