Update: a manager never called me back so I just called the store this morning and spoke with Lily (manager). She couldn't care less of what I had to say. She didn't apologize or say she would talk to Natalie about this issue. She certainly did not act like someone in a leadership role. She seemed bothered that I even called and was telling her about this whole ordeal. I will dispute this whole charge with my credit card company because this is ridiculous. It's not like the tags were removed. They are just going to resell these items anyways so I don't see the big deal to process a refund. They just lost a customer and I'll be sure to tell my friends and family of my experience here and their lack of customer service. So yesterday, I stopped by your store to make a return and was informed that only exchanges or store credit are offered. When I visited the store on Tuesday (11/4), I specifically asked one of the associates (Natalie) about the return policy. I explained that I didn't want to try anything on, and she told me that as long as the tags were still attached and I had my receipt, I could return any unwanted items within 30 days for a full refund. She didn't mention that returns were limited to store credit or exchanges only. The whole reason I asked of the return policy is because I was too lazy to try everything on at that moment, but had I known only store credit would be offered, I would have tried everything on and only purchase one item. When I came in yesterday, the associate at the counter took my number and said a manager would reach out to see what could be done as she couldn't process a refund. I tried sending an email through your website but that function isn't working so I can't even get in contact with someone. I'd appreciate it if someone could please contact me asap. Uncomfortable. I could not believe that I could be made uncomfortable in an adult store at my age and level of experience, but here we are. After working out at the LVAC on Rainbow, I stopped in this business at about 0545. I legally parked my clean and functional car in front and went in. Note: I'm in my mid-fifties, have a clean shaven head, a well-maintained goatee, muscular, clean albeit in my workout clothes (which were clean and appropriate), and I was carrying only my wallet, phone and keys. There were two employees working, a male and a female. The male stopped me and asked for ID which I produced. I made my selections fairly quickly and went to check out. Without being asked, I produced a valid NVDL and a valid credit card. I checked out and walked out to my car. As I drove away, I saw the female photographing or videotaping me with a cell phone. Both employees had the right to do what they did; however, it's poor for business and their intuition is horrible. If a business is going to be open 24 hours a day, it's possible that someone might just come in to make purchases at almost any time. If they're afraid, they made a bad career choice. I can't imagine why they would find me suspicious. It would not meet the Terry standard if they were cops. I guess if I ever go back, I'll bring my wife and sworn affidavits as to what a wonderful person I am. That was sarcasm if you missed it. I'm not paying for the notary. It's great that they had what I came in for at reasonable prices; however, the employees' behavior just destroyed the experience. My husband & I don't frequent the love store but this experience was sadly the worst after several past positive visits. After having dinner we stopped in for a few fun items but could not receive help because of how understaffed the store was. On top of that one young lady with braids was singing to herself & not really helping with the gaggle of customers all around while the older woman was spending too much time per customer at the register causing an unnecessary line. The young lady with pink hair that helped us was very frantic in trying to handle everything, kept apologizing and, as someone who's worked in customer service for many years, it was uncomfortable to see. Idk what's gone on with staff lately but no one seems properly trained or prepared to handle this kind of customer volume. This was my second time to this location. My spouse has been here a few times prior to my review. She likes the plus size section of stockings and says the prices on those items are better than online. The store is large, well organized, and there is quite a bit of walking space so one should not be concerned about bumping and knocking over merchandise (have experienced that at other stores). We were greeted and asked to let them know if we needed assistance. There is a lot of variety in merchandise, and ample seating (in case a friend is waiting on another to try on apparel or browse). There are some displays for battery operated or plug in "equipment" which allows you to inspect items before purchasing. I think most sales are final (considering the nature of the products), but I can't say for certain because I did not see the return policy posted on the website. I think it's printed on the back of receipts, but we didn't purchase anything this specific visit so I can't say for certain. When in doubt, ask. Considering their location, I would consider this business a locals store vs. tourists; but easy enough to find by all. read more
