Very good food! I travel a lot for work and finding places for lunch other than fast food can be tough. Solid sandwhich spot with very polite ladies working there! Such a cute southern quaint shop. Highly recommend!

Food was awesome, the staff was super friendly and the restaurant and bathrooms were clean!…read more We made a trip to Oneonta along with 4 of our grandchildren to see the great grands. Saturday morning agenda consisted of making a trip to Hammer's Mercantile in town for the boys new hunting clothes so we decided to skip cooking and head out for breakfast. We had never eaten at a Huddle House and as timing would have it, we walked in at the perfect time and were able to grab 6 of the 7 chairs available at the bar. (All the tables were full). We sat and chit chatted with the staff while waiting on our food and everyone was so friendly. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, served hot and was plenty with everyone leaving some on their plate (well at least everyone but the oldest GSon who preceded to finish off everyone else's plates). . Huddle House was a big hit with all our grands and we will definitely be back.

Ordered our meal to-go, and I was really looking forward to trying the limited-time only meal,…read moremaple butter chicken and waffle, but when I got home there were no condiments (including the maple butter & syrup). The waffle and chicken were still good and luckily I had some butter and syrup at home to enjoy it. I also decided to try something else new which was the blueberry muffin bites that were okay, but the side of whipped cream cheese was missing which would've made it a lot better. I will say my boyfriend got the caramel chocolate pie and that was very good. Overall, the meal was subpar so pro-tip, make sure you dine-in!

We love The Hatter, and have eaten at this whimsical little restaurant several times and absolutely…read moreloved it! However, I recently reserved The Hatter for my great granddaughter birthday. The staff was NOT trained for a tea party, which is ironic. We had reservations for 3 adults and one child....we waited over 30 minutes to get served. They brought out water and never asked if we wanted our tea. We got our tiers, but they still didn't bring out tea, we had to ask for it. The food on the tiers were not good...like a biscuit with no jam. I had to ask for small plates and we had to pour our own tea. All in all, a disappointing tea party after our 2 hour drive! My granddaughter is only 2, so she had a good, special time, and for that I praise the ambience of this cute restaurant! But since the restaurant is an Alice and Wonderland place, the staff should be trained to hold an equally magical tea party!! PS. When we got the bill, they had over charged us by 42.00. Remember, before you tip, they add a tip too! The manager did correct our card for their mistake. Sorry, The Hatter, we were very disappointed. A tea party at an Alice and Wonderland restaurant should be MAD and crazy special!

She was efficient, checked up on us, kept our drinks full and even showed how considerate she is. I was having a hard time hearing her and as I apologized and told her I'm deaf in my left ear, she started approaching the table from the other side. I truly appreciated that kind and thoughtful gesture. The food was delicious as always.

You'll find breakfast cocktails, homemade biscuits, breakfast comfort food as well as flat screen T.V.s and friendly service rounding out your experience. Today I opted for the server recommended Freebird Benedict, $15, and I enjoyed their creative take on the classic Eggs Benedict. This creative breakfast entree features their biscuit- split with fried chicken, poached egg and topped with their chicken sausage gravy. Definitely a big breakfast and shareable! Loved the tender biscuit, the crunch of the fried chicken and the savory flavorful chicken sausage gravy! The side of seasoned Moon Dust potatoes were great, too. I look forward to returning and trying their French Toast, Pancakes or a plain, yummy biscuit!
