Single patty burger and fries combo
    Bailey B.

Came through and grabbed a quick dinner at the tail end of a long drive home. This is a locally-owned burger joint! They have a drive-through if you're in an extra big hurry but I figured I'd come inside and unwind a bit before finishing the last leg of my journey. It was clean inside, with a decent amount of indoor seating and a large outdoor patio too. I was a bit miffed to realize I'd stumbled in right behind a very large group of 10-12 people, but to my pleasant surprise, the staff got their orders in quickly and I didn't have to wait long. Everyone's food was out fast, too -- in total, I was waiting maybe 5-7 minutes. Not bad at all. The staff was more friendly than I'd expect for a quick-service burger place, way nicer than your average Wendy's or McDonald's. They were super helpful and patient and seemed to be working hard. The burgers are smash burgers -- think like Steak n Shake or Freddy's. That means if you're really hungry, you'd probably do better with a double! I wasn't famished or anything, so I just got a single patty hamburger combo. The price was right -- wanna say something like $8, but can't remember exactly. Less than $10 for sure. I can't remember what the standard burger has on it, but I got mine with lettuce, ketchup, and their special/comeback sauce, which to my tastes is your standard (albeit yummy) slightly vinegary, pale orange mayo/ketchup fusion. My burger was cooked nicely and the bun was soft, if a little greasy. My fries were standard but also cooked nicely and I found ketchup to dip them in easily. They make milkshakes if you want dessert, but I was eager to get back on the road. Bathrooms appear to be for one person at a time, and whoever went in ahead of me was taking way too long for my patience, so can't comment on that, lol. I can't promise your mind will be blown with the best burger and fries you've ever had, but if you're looking for locally owned, very clean, friendly service and tasty food on a budget and short timeframe, this place fits the bill exactly.

Found it on Yelp a few months ago to help someone who was travel to Gadsden and wanted something different, they have great reviews about it when they ate there and told me I got to go, so I was in Gadsden for a Model Train show, and my family and I ate in, it was great, got the buffalo chicken sandwich combo. Staff was nice but not over friendly but food was hot and quick. Inside is basic but clean

New place, seems to be doing pretty good out of the gate. Nothing is easy about Covid and opening a restaurant during these times can't be easy. They really seemed to have it together as far as keeping people social distanced and staff wearing masks. They were pretty busy when we came in here, I'm guessing everyone is just happy to have a new option .... hopefully they will last, nothing seems to stay in this building very long. Staff was friendly and answered our questions about menu items and took our orders. Food prep took about 10 minutes, not too bad considering how many people had ordered a head of us. They call out names (or maybe #'s) when the food is ready, we grabbed our and were pleased to see that the orders were correct the first time (any of you that have eaten with me know I rarely order something the way it's called out on the menu) .... food was fresh and burger had good flavor. Definitely a step above the other traditional fast food burger joints we all know. That being said I will agree with some of the other reviews - the burger is the only thing warm on the bun - everything else was cold (well bacon was warm too). So if you're looking for melted cheese and things like that, not happening here - but, I actually don't mind my burger that way so no deduct on stars from me. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend this place (and have) to others.

Good burger but on the thin side, you may want to order a double which would make it a standard hamburger. Fries were hot and crispy.

Fries and burgers are so greasy it's inedible. I rarely ever find a place where I don't finish the fries, but this was an exception!

As of September of 2025 they have 6.99 and 7.99 combo deals. It's nice to be able to add on Jalapeños to a burger. Even ala carte items were a good deal. The employees were respectful and nice. The taste was very basic, simple, and like a small cookout that you'd have for big gatherings. I believe no time is spent on making the food seasoned and spiced. Similar to the burgers of Checkers/Rally's flavor, style, and size. The large chili fries weren't worth the price, as they don't appear to be worth 6.99. $2.19 for a hot dog, $2 and some change for a single burger, and $4.49 for a double burger is priced right. But... they do nickel and dime you for toppings, which I'm not a fan of. They get a 4 because I enjoyed the design and appeal of the building and stamped colored concrete sidewalk around the front of the building that looks like tile, and the service was great. Biggest tip I would give is.... Get something to silence the legs of the loud squealing chairs, move the ordering area further from the door as the line was out the door and the line moved incredibly slow. The food was prepared in a flash. It would also be nice to allow patrons the option to refill their drinks so you can cut down time from the line. They also ran out of Dr Pepper. While we were walking up as a family was leaving and they openly expressed their disdain due to the fact the line had not moved, trying to convince us to leave as well. Glad we stuck it out and waited to try it. It's worth a try. Get away from the big chain burger places for a change. May return for the shakes, when and if I'm passing through the area again. If you like a basic burger with no frills, this is for you, not my thing. I was hoping for a grand burger experience. This is similar to that of Guntersville's JJ's.

Our server was prompt, knowledgeable, and very friendly. My wife and I ordered our food and it came out pretty quickly. I ordered the smoked chicken stuffed potato and she got buffalo chicken fingers and fries. I loved the potato! It's a huge spud that has the smoked chicken, butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon and chives. Don't forget the Alabama white bbq sauce! Theirs is amazing! The only complaint I had was that the portion of smoked chicken was kinda small. It was excellently done chicken with a great smoky flavor! I just don't think they put enough of it on the tater. My wife said her chicken fingers were really good, she had hoped they would be tossed in buffalo sauce instead of the sauce on the side. But no big deal. The fries are pretty fantastic and the prices are really reasonable. A really good place for a meal and we're looking forward to coming back and trying something else from here! Thank you!

I discovered this mobile hot dog cart business on Facebook a month or so ago. I love a good hot…read moredog and I love a local business, so I knew I had to chase them down and try one for myself. The menu is simple but highly creative. You can build your own hot dog with a variety of toppings (classics, like ketchup or mustard, are free; premium, like peppers and onions or pineapple relish, are .75 cents) or you can order one of the chef's specialty dogs. By default, the dogs are enormous, savory, and all beef, but you can change to a sausage dog for an upcharge if that's more your flavor. Specialty dogs run between $7-$8, depending on the number and type of toppings. Each one is named after an iconic or well traveled road in Huntsville, which is a great tie-in to their name and theme. You can buy chips on the side, but we all found the dogs to be a more than ample lunchtime meal, and worth the price. My parents and I had the 431 (pineapple relish, bacon bits, peppers and onions), the South Parkway (a tricked out chili cheese), and the Monte Sano (brown mustard, kraut, pickle relish, bacon bits). Each one was delish, piled high with toppings, and made fresh to order. It's obvious the owner is thoughtful and particular about the toppings. The bacon bits were real, freshly chopped, crispy and fatty bacon -- not the kind you buy in a package at the store. Astoundingly, the buns held up to all the goodies piled on top. If you're too intimated to eat with your hands, forks and a multitude of napkins are at your disposal. The owner was there slinging dogs himself and we had a good time chatting with him. He and his wife run the operation by themselves, and it's nice to see and interact directly with the people who benefit from your business. He was very nice and did an excellent job preparing our food and telling us about his product. You can reliably find their weekly schedule posted on Facebook. They're often at Parkway Scrubs for lunch and also appear at local breweries and events for dinner, but don't take my word for it -- find their page and hunt down this cool little cart.

We did not know there was a pub crawl for St Patty's day happening on the day of our reservation. We were the first to be seated in the restaurant since it opened at 5:00. Once we sat down we found out there was a limited dinner menu. The waitress took our drink order right away, but it took 20 minutes for the drinks to be delivered. While waiting for the drinks the waitress took our food order, took our food a good 40 minutes to be served after we ordered. The waitress told us our food was delayed because one item was burned in the oven and had to be remade. When we finally got our order one of the entrees was cold and the other was luke warm. We had ordered both entrees medium, but they were also over cooked. I understand they were busy with the pub crawl, but that should not have impacted their service as much as we experienced. What really disappointed me that the restaurant did not make us aware of the limited dinner menu and that they also were hosting a pub crawl when we made reservations. We could have made a decision to cancel the reservation before we traveled to the restaurant I hope the owners of this restaurant will plan better in the future and make their patrons aware of special circumstances affecting the menu. All I know is that I will not be returning.
