Dr. Mazaheri performed Lasik and PRK on my eyes back in 2005. I have tried to visit him for check ups every year that I've lived in DFW and I am never disappointed in the quality of care and service provided by the doctor or anyone on his team. When my procedure was first done, the recovery time for the eye on which he did Lasik felt like no time at all. After decades of glasses and contacts, I was able to open my eyes when I woke up in the morning and be able to see clearly and not chastise myself for sleeping in my contacts. The PRK-eye had a longer recovery time, but even after all these years, my vision has not deteriorated and I have not experienced any issues or side effects from the procedure or the care I've received since then. Anytime a glasses-wearer I know tells me they are contemplating Lasik, I always recommend Dr. Mazaheri. I believe in the quality of his care but also the comfort of being able to go back to the same doctor who performed the surgery, who can remember me even after years of living out of state. Overall, I'm super pleased with the services that I received from the M Lasik Center. (Surgery date - May 2021) The knowledge and experience Dr. Mazaheri exhibits is expansive and reassuring, especially to people like me who have (had) a heavy eye glass prescription (-9.25 and -11). I went in as a borderline unsuitable candidate for PRK and he was confident I could get near perfect vision. No one should promise you perfect vision as every case is different, and eyes react to surgery differently. But the hope always remains for perfect vision, and, in most cases, people do reach 20/20 or better with PRK and LASIK. I was completely expecting to leave with a light prescription, and I was fine with that because the correction was so huge. My main goal was to stop wearing coke bottle glasses! I will have to wear driving glasses at some point, but that's it. I'm not using them now as I'm still in the recovery phase which can last a few more months. My vision ended up being around 20/25 after 5 months, which is suitable to me. It continues to get better as I heal. I still need reading glasses (LASIK cannot solve this as a whole) as nearly everyone over 45 needs them, however I was surprised that my reading glasses magnification level went down as well, which is a relief. That was a nice surprise. Dr. M. also caught some potential problems with my eyes that other yearly optometrist appointments missed, so I'm happily following up on that with a retina specialist. Dr. Mazerheri is very thorough, and on my surgery day, we checked my vision (to get the right numbers into the computer), no less than 4 times on different machines. The staff prepped me well for recovery over the weekend after the surgery and I never had any questions because they left anything out. The staff is super nice, accommodating, and they have their office running like a well-oiled machine. The only thing I disliked about the entire experience has nothing to do with Dr. M. The building his office is in has a couple issues (Campbell office). The doors are VERY heavy, and elderly people can have difficulty opening them. The building owner needs to put a couple thousand into updating and fixing the women's restroom because it had badly torn wallpaper and the toilets rocked. read more

I had a great experience with Dr. Mazaheri and the M Lasik Center. As an attorney I rely on my eyesight heavily in reviewing legal documents, and as pilot, I rely on my eyesight for safety. After many years deliberating over the decision to have eye surgery I finally decided to take the next steps. At my initial appointment I explained my apprehension to Dr. M and asked if there was any way that I could visit with a few of his current and former patients about their experiences. To my amazement Dr. M brought in three different patients over the course of my appointment, allowing me to visit privately with each. Additionally and afterward, Dr. M put me in touch with another eye surgeon who entrusted surgery on her own children to Dr. M. This really helped me overcome my apprehension toward eye surgery. Surgery went great, and I couldn't believe how well I was seeing after only week. It's now been nearly three months since my surgery and my vision is fantastic. I'm able to easily read hundreds of documents on a daily basis. I'm able to fly safely, easily spot distant traffic and airports, and no longer have to carry a back-up pair of glasses in case I blink out a contact! 100% RECOMMEND!! Why would you have your eye cut if you did not have to? I DID NOT KNOW FLAPLESS EXISTED! Probably because he's the ONLY doctor with the patent to perform this procedure! I cannot begin to thank Dr. M enough! My procedure was quick and easy and I healed quickly. Within three days I was able to see almost perfectly. I even took a hands on class with attention to detail necessary (3 days later) with no issue. The place was clean (I especially appreciated this because of all of this Covid-19 stuff going around right now )and the staff was knowledgeable, sweet and patient. Both the staff and the doctor sanitized in front of me and then gloved up. Dr. Michael Mazaheri was great! He patiently explained the procedure in laymen's terms and had a gentleness about him. My experience was an amazing one. I I have been in classes since the fourth grade. Years ago I research Lasik, but was afraid of the cut procedure. A friend of mine had her Lasik done by Dr. M and her recovery was great. I finally decided this year to do a consultation when I heard about no cut Lasik. I was nervous about the procedure, but Dr. M was wonderful from beginning to end. His team Jan, Lisa and Shar were amazing. During my initial eval every question that I had was answered and I made my appointment for the procedure the same day. My procedure was the end of September. I left for an out of country vacation two weeks later, and my eyesight was exceptional. It was great to be able to wake up and not have to reach for eyeglasses and to be able to open my eyes and see everything clearly was the best feeling ever. I have had no complications or issues with my procedure and I highly recommend Dr. M and his team for anyone that is looking to do Lasik and is skeptical about the procedure. I went to this clinic in hopes of getting my vision corrected to 20/20 or as close to it as I could get. Well they didn't disappoint!!! My vision is 20/20 and I'm super excited about it . The fact that there was no cutting was a huge plus for me , in fact I put off lasik for a year because I was afraid to get my cornea cut and not having to do that made me feel comfortable and confident on moving forward . I had the no-cut LASIK (advanced PRK) procedure performed back in 2011. I was extremely nearsighted, with a prescription of approximately -12 for both eyes (with astigmatism). I consulted with two other ophthalmologists who recommended no surgery due to my extreme myopia, but Dr. M was confident he could fix my vision, and he did. I have absolutely no regrets. In nearly 9 years, my vision is still very close to 20/20. Considering my vision beforehand, the outcome has been simply incredible. I still do not need reading glasses either (I am 51 years old). I visit Dr. M periodically for follow-ups, and everything has been going great. If you have Dr. M perform the procedure on your eyes, the only thing I would recommend is to follow his pre- and post-op instructions religiously. This includes taking whatever drops and supplements he prescribes. Stick to whatever schedule he determines is best for you. read more
