This is a great food truck if you're looking for some tasty Greek food. I have tried both the chicken wrap and the falafel wrap, and I'd go with falafel if you're undecided. The chicken was good but extremely salty (hey, I'm sure some people love that), but the falafel had plenty of flavor and great texture. I don't think it's a lot of food for $13 (in my opinion, at that price, they should include potatoes with the wrap), but it good quality, and I thought the pita itself was chewy and delicious. The tzatziki dip is good and has plenty of garlic. They had the falafel wrap ready to go when I ordered it, so I didn't have to wait at all. That makes sense if you're serving lunch in a corporate setting like they were today to have your popular items ready to go. This food truck was at an event at my community. I love Greek food so I was one of the first in line, and boy was I disappointed! To put it mildly it sucked! Thank god it was a community sponsored event and I didn't have to pay for it. Don't waste your money. If you want a gyro go to Arby's there's are much better. read more

Saw this food truck at the Summer Jam fest and knew I had to try it! I got the garlic hummus with pita which is one of its sides dishes. The hummus was super heavy on the garlic and it tasted fantastic. I liked how they made the pita hot and fresh and put extra seasoning on it to bring out more flavor. It was a super filling side dish for a decent price, I'd recommend for anyone wanting a quick bite! read more

An ok good truck option for Greek if you find yourself in an out there venue this could be an ok option. Main options are a plate or pita sandwich with either a beef/lamb, chicken or falafel option. Also several sides including tzatziki dip, hummus, potatoes. The pita bread was ok- generic packaged pita but is griddled nicely. Meats were a bit dry, chicken in particular wasn't very flavorful. Potatoes have ok flavor but are a bit soggy and poor texture. Hummus and tzatziki were nice and are a must add in the sandwich given the meat details above. Pace was a little slow, took quite a while to love through the line and then the wait after ordering. read more

Wow. Just wow. My girlfriend and i moved to Brookhaven last year and LOVED the food truck meet up. Come to find out, tonight was the debut of the new Blackburn park and we had to take a walk over. First thing, if you haven't been, it's an awesome event. Second, the mad Greek is amazing. I saw the familiar Gyro Chef, which I LOVE. I had a hard time deciding considering I hadn't tried the Mad Greek before. Had to go against my original bias. Really glad I did. I wanna tell you, both are incredible, but mad Greek has so many interesting and new flavors. Beautiful shaved lamb, a great "spiced" option. Which I think is a jalapeno/olive tapenade. But who cares. It's incredible. Both worth a try but damn! Way to go Mad Greek! read more

The Mad Greek was at a local craft/shopping festival I attended today and as a huge fan of Greek/Mediterranean, I tried the Spanakopita and dolmades for a quick snack since I had already eaten lunch. Both were very well done! The spanakopita was a large slice that had the perfect outer filo crunch and a melty spinach and feta interior. The dolmades were juicy and well-flavored. They even gave me a generous side of tzatiki sauce at no charge (just to try it and because they recommended it with my snacks). It was creamy and delicious for my spanakopita. I wasn't hungry enough for an entree but the gyros and meat all looked fresh and decently sized portions. They were going for about $10 which wasn't too steep for the meat, pita, and sides that came with it. Service was fairly quick for a food truck and everyone was incredibly friendly who worked there. I hope to see them at another festival or event around Atlanta! read more

New to Georgia and somewhat disappointed at there only being BBQ and wing options anywhere. This food truck not only gives you a change from those options, it gives you a DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC taste. I went to Israel last year snd this is the best Gyro I've had since I've been back in the states. Homemade tzatziki and pita bread bring it all together. You can taste the olive oil baked into the bread I'll be finding them at southern belle every weekend from here on out. read more

The truck was parked in the Cresswind parking lot, I got two of the gyro plates which cost $13 each. Before I realized the total from my receipt which I received in a text, they added a processing fee of 2.3% and then an unknown fee of 7% then tax, I added an 18% tip, which I now feel was way too much. The total was $33.54 for food that was mediocre at best. The meat, especially the chicken was way to salty, needless to say, I will not go back. The service was fast though. read more

Your explanation is very inaccurate of my experience with your food truck! A few months later, I am reading your response to my concern and complaint, and your version of the incident and facts are so wrong. I never left the window with my food, but immediately open and brought to your attention my food was wrong, you refused to wrap the meat in a pita to make it right, but you take the container meal, opened it and put 3 mini pieces of pita bread in the takeout. I wanted my money back at that point because you wouldn't make my order right by wrapping the meat in a pita sandwich, and you refused to refund my money. And oh yeah, the picture of the food is the actual picture of the food I received and is why I took the picture to show everyone what I received. You complained about having food returned would be costly to your business and how you paid a lot of money to have your food truck at the festival. You refused to make my meal right and refused to refund my money. But no worries, you lost me as a customer - never again will I ever patronize your business. read more
