Bob the Cigar Guy was welcoming, friendly & helpful in picking out a Thank You gift. The pleasant store front cigar shop & smoke room has a massive selection of cigars & accessories. Although there's not a walk in Humidor, there's a smoking lounge, comfy leather chairs & couches, big screen TV's, free Wi-Fi & a mini bar offering craft beers. There is non alcoholic beverages available as well. Over 150 regular stogies & premium cigars for beginners to the aficionados with accommodating prices for all budgets. Three cigars including a premium, a cutter & complimentary matches & box all for $40. The recipient was surprised & very happy...thanks again Bob. read more

The Maduro Room is one of the best shops I've ever been to. The only places with a better selection are going to be the warehouse offerings like JR. For intown, phenomenal. You wont get the home feel though and to be frank they're selections are more, not better. Maduro stocks anything you're looking for like Opus, AF Anejo, Plasencia, Padron etc and the most fair prices I've ever seen. Those folks missing the walk in humidor experience, consider yourselves smoking in the humidor comfortably. The cabinets Maduro Room uses are top notch and cover almost every inch of wall in a good-sized space. Maduro Room can independently control their sticks and know each stick is getting the proper humidity. Prices are excellent, selection...excellent, and location is excellent. Mike and his team are firing on all cylinders. read more

The Maduro room is best Cigar shop in SC! Fantastic selection and awesome atmosphere. I love hanging out here in the shop and talking with the regulars so much that I joined a membership and even have my own humidor locker in the shop. Mike, who owns the place really knows his stuff and is super friendly. As are his employees. read more

In the area, and love to look for new cigar stores (new to me, that is!). This place definitely lived up to the good ratings. Nice selection of decently priced cigars, helpful, friendly staff. Nice smoking area and great ventilation as well. Just sorry I don't live in the area to frequent! Hopefully can make it back once a year. read more

I don't smoke but went there to get something for my Grandfather and the owner took the time to explain cigars and showed us a wide variety to pick from. They have a huge selection of cigars with an area to smoke , socialize and watch sports. read more

Specialties

At The Maduro Room, we sell a full line of premium cigars, including everything from Ashton to Zino. We also carry a diverse selection of cigar accessories. If pipes are your thing, we've got pipes, pipe tobacco (both bulk and tins), and pipe accessories. We also carry select specialty cigarettes, including American Spirit. We also have a large selection of craft beer!

History

Established in 2007.

The Maduro Room was opened for business in February of 2007. Since that time, we have constantly expanded our offerings and added three new employees to our business. Grady Marsh opened the store in 2007. While we stock cigars in all price ranges, you won't find any low-rate cigars in our humidors. If there's a brand that you would like to see us carry, please let us know, as we are always open to your ideas and suggestions! Mike Falls is the current owner/manager, and brings with him several years of retail managerial experience. He is very knowledgeable on the product and will be happy to help you make any selections. Steve Miller works part-time for us, mostly at night and weekends. Randy Fabry also works part-time, mostly nights and weekends as well. Last but not least is Bob Lytle, Bob works part-time filling in whenever needed.
